Bien situé, l'immeuble est légèrement en retrait par rapport au Seawall. L'hôtel est difficile à trouver mais il est protégé du bruit de la circulation automobile incessante de jour comme de nuit sur la 4 voies qui longe la mer. La 61th street et ses commerces sont à quelques minutes à pied. On accède également rapidement au littoral, à la plage qui s'étend sur des kilomètres. Chambre très confortable, bien équipée. Du balcon, nous voyions l'océan.
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.

"wonderful place to stay"
Everything u needed was in walking distance. The room service was great. Rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were just right.I can said I have only one complaint that the pool was cold when I thought it was apposed to be heated but other than that great place to stay.

This was a perfect place to stay before our cruise. I felt for the price we paid having our parking and shuttle provided was great. The staff were very nice and very helpful. this made cruising out of galveston a wonderful experience for us and wil do it again and stay here again. Our car was safe and we saw security walking around the parking lot at […] all hours which made us feel safer. Our room was so comfortable and the beds amazingly great. I love down comforters and white linens. Makes the room feel that much cleaner. The pool also is wonderful and the hotel very convenient and with in walking distance to many places to eat. WE LIKE THE HILTON,(BUT) THE HVAC IN THE ROOM WAS LOUD.THEY HAD TO CHANGE THE LOCK ON OUR DOOR,AND THE KIDS FROM THE PROUM WERE UP TILL 2AM.THE CLEANING LADY SPILLED MY PILLS AND JUST PUT THEM BACK IN THE PILL BOX IN ON ORDER.AND DIDN'T TELL ANYONE.

"Great family getaway"
We were visiting family in Houston, and stayed at the Hilton to be close to the beach. The hotel was great, and our 4 and 6 year olds loved the pool! The room was very clean, and the staff were wonderful. The only complaint I would have would be the guests in the room above us were on their balcony in the middle of each night, and the noise and cigarette […] smoke carried right through to our room. Wasnt impressed at all with the size of the room for the price. Bathroom toiletries didnt smell good at all and looked used... Good thing I brought my own. The set up of the room was not very functional, and youd think after paying for a gulf view room, they'd have the bed facing that direction.

"It's ok ...."
Expensive and just an "ok" hotel but, for being right on the beach, it's par with other hotels there, maybe even a little better. Good restaurants within walking, nice little pool, convenient location. Next time I'm in Galveston, I'd consider staying down town, instead of on the beach.
Hotel is right on the water. Great location for kids as Rainforest Cafe is right next door. Easter buffet was very well done at Hilton.

LOVED this Hotel!! The pool is awesome and service at the pool area was fantastic. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. The Hotel is also within walking distance to so many restaurants. Easy access to the Beach.

For the price we paid per night our stay should have been much nicer and the staff more accomodating. Electrical plugs not working in our room, door handle came off main entry door and maintenance had to fix it. We were told there was free continental breakfast at check in and the next morning we were told there was no such thing and breakfast would […] be $13.99 per person. The beds were very short and the bedding barely fit with flat pillows. When we politely expressed our concerns to management they did not seem to care about the electrical issues or the fact that their staff gave out incorrect information about free breakfast, etc. nor did they try to redeem themselves in any manner or offer a comp of any kind. The staff was very friendly and professional upon check-in whick is something I find extremely important. The room was clean for the most part; I had dropped my earring back, and we moved the TV stand to find it and it was ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING underneath it. It had obviously never been moved to clean beneath, yuck. The AC unit was SOOO loud that I nor […] did my daughter or husband get ANY sleep. It would only shut off for 20-30 seconds at a time, and when it was off, you could hear everything from outside and in the halls. The walls were beyond paper thin. A good choice. Hotel was clean, had all the amenities. It is not on the beach like I expected. You still have to cross the busy street to the seawall to get to the beach. The mattress was horribly uncomfortable. It took me a full day to get my back comfortable again. Also, we had to put the AC on constant fan, because on the auto setting, it made a […] horrible whiny screeching sound every time it shut off, like earth shattering loud. "Beautiful views"
While I expected the rooms to be a little more updated, particularly the bathrooms, we enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable, the room service was fast and delicious. The front desk staff was great even though we arrived after midnight. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was super! Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Antony the bartender was awesome. Very sweet, came out to the pool many times to help us so we didn't have to come in dripping to get drinks!! ( the pool bar wasn't open) it made for a very nice relaxing stay for us.

Check in time was at 3pm and we arrived at 3:30pm but it was so chaotic at the check in that our room wasn't ready until 5pm. "Great Stay"
My kids and I really enjoyed our stay. On the way home we realized that my daughter had left her favorite blanket. We called and the staff took 2 hours and found it in all of the laundry. They UPS'ed it to us and my daughter is thrilled. Going that extra mile.
We stayed only one night, even though we payed for three, the service was terrible... it was over crowded!!! The AC in the room was too loud!

Wow! We went as a family and this hotel was dubbed "paradise" by my girls age 8. Room was oversize with huge comfortable beds and linens. Pool is family/adult friendly with a rock waterfall, whirlpool, and hot sauna. Every staff, housekeeping as well, were extremely friendly and helpful. Doesn't that just make any stay that much better? Walk across […] the street and you are on the beach with a lifeguard station within feet of you. Directly to the left of hotel is Rainforest Cafe. We liked the Hotel. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Across the street from the beach. Limited restaurant options close-by for walkers.

Once you reach the lobby and wait to check-in, you are given Zero attention . You got to go to them, wherever they are and ASK for attention (a smile on the front desk person's face is a little too much to ask here). Once we picked up the keys and headed to the room, we saw stale food and finished up wine glasses lying outside the room. They were lying […] these even the next day while we were checking out. Never seen this kind of housekeeping. Lady at the front desk says there is a shuttle service to the downtown every 15 minutes. But when we step out and ask the doorman about the shuttle he says there is none until another hour just when a cab pulls in. He asked me if I'd hire a cab and I jump into the cab, later to realize that somebody else called for it already so we are "kicked out" of the cab with the doorman making no efforts to call another cab. For the price I paid, I definitely expect a better service than this. When I drove around in Galveston, I found many other better looking resorts so I am sure many of those offer a better service.
