Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Hollywood ,parking gratuit,connection internet moyenne dans les chambres meme si elle est gratuite,petit dejeuner compris et copieux,un frigo mais pas de coffre fort.Personnel très sympathique le seul bémol c'est que même les chambres non fumeur sentent le tabac froid sinon dans l ensemble séjours agréable pour 2 à 3 nuits maximum,ah oui petite piscine pour se détendre et ça aussi c'est toujours agréable .

Très bon compromis: qualité/prix, emplacement idéal à 1minutes à pied du Kodak Theatre et à la fois dans une rue calme. Jardin sur le toit très bien aménagé, piscine agréable, petit déjeuner délicieux (mention spéciale aux muffin), chambre grande avec cuisine, parking fermé - Bref ravis de notre séjour (4nuits). Les petits bémols: murs fins car vieux bâtiment et penser à demander une chambre sur cour et pas sur rue (c est quand même Hollywood Boulevard dont on parle : y a de la vie!!). C'était très bien!! Vraiment

Hotel classique au niveau des chambres. Parking assez grand. Bon avantage sur le placement à 2 minutes à pied du métro et à 5 minutes en voiture d'Hollywood Signs, des étoiles d'Hollywood Blvd, 15 minutes d'Universal Studios, de Sunset Strip, 30 minutes sans bouchon de Venice Beach et Santa Monica. Méfiance tout de même dans le secteur de l'hotel à la tombée de la nuit mais c'est pas non plus Bagdad...
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.

La plupart des visiteurs commencent et terminent leur visite à Southland à LAX, l'aéroport international de Los Angeles. Centre d'immigration le plus chargé du pays, LAX est l'équivalent moderne d'Ellis Island, île de New York où débarquaient jadis les immigrants. Proche des Beach Cities (villes avec plages), l'aéroport dispose de son propre site d'intérêt. L'édifice rétro-futuriste Theme Building, construit en 1961, ressemble à une soucoupe volante. Il abrite aujourd'hui un restaurant.

Bon hotel, piscine, sympa. Le ptit dej est un peu cher, mais très chouette. Par contre, l'isolation phonique des chambres laisse a désirer quand on a une chambre qui donne sur le freeway (et aussi entre les chambres). Sinon, bon hotel... les lits king size sont délicieux

I love this hotel and will stay again. I loved the location and the view. Lots to do while you enjoy your stay. And the beds were wonderful like a sleep number beds. Loved it.

All I look for is somewhere average to stay & make the most of the entertainment around the area that I'm staying at. However, this hotel surprised me pleasantly & far exceeded my expectations! "It Doesn't Get Any Better Than The Doubletree"
There are many options around LAX and East L.A but the Doubletree, has easy access to the 405, 30 and PCH. Easy access to 2 malls. Easy access to a plethora of restaurants and activities. Friendly service, good parking and fast internet. I'll continue to stay at the Doubletree as well as recommend it to others in my company.

We accidentally stayed here since we thought we were staying at a Doubletree close by (where we have stayed before). The other property still seems better to us.It's in a better neighborhood with more dining options and seems more modern. "Doubletree Very Nice"
The Doubletree LA Westside is a very good hotel. The lobby, grounds, and room were very comfortable and nice. One negative is that hotel is in a very commercial area...not very good for a causal walk. Good part is that it is close to freeway. One odd issue is that the hotel does not carry newspapers on weekend. I was advised to go off grounds to buy […] a newspaper. Very inconvenient. "youth college tour"
The hotel was very nice. I definetly got my monies worth. The only issue is that the walls are super thin, but besides that I will return. The hotel workers were very friendly and they served fresh cookies and the most amazing fruit water. I booked 6 rooms and will use this hotel everytime I stay in the Los Angeles area.

"Sleep Number Beds!"
While someone who sleeps on a "sleep number bed" might appreciate there being the same bed in a hotel as in their home, those of us who do not have one are often left wondering why these expensive beds are in a hotel room where we might spend one or two nights. I understand that it sometimes takes weeks to arrive at your "sleep number" so trying to […] find a comfortable setting with one for one night is pretty much impossible. "Almost OK"
I've stayed at many DoubleTrees. This was the least attractive and hospitable. It's practically under a freeway and is somewhat impersonal with the exception of the warm cookie. The staff seemed distracted by the dozens of loud 20-somethings roaming. The charges for internet service had to be paid for separately for each device we had. Hallways were […] long and not well lit. We came back to the same neighborhood a few days later and my other 3 traveling companions agreed that they wanted to stay somewhere else. "Would not recommend"
The hotel did not get the reservation from hotels.com for hours after I booked online eventhough I received a confirmation email saying that it was paid in full. The hotel charges $15 per day to it's guests for parking. The parking lot was full and I was told to wait for someone to leave eventhough I was being charged for a parking space.

From the comfortable rooms and accommodating staff to the great little bar and restaurant in the hotel - what a great experience! The bed was awesome and the room was really clean and quiet. I will definitely stay again!

Although I was only there for a 1-day layover, I would not hesitate one bit to stay here for a week or more! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, free shuttle to/from LAX and warm chocolate chip cookies at very reasonable prices. Who could ask for anything more?

The personnel at the front desk were very welcoming and accomodating. The room I was given was on a high floor, overlooking the freeway, but quiet and very well decorated with a classic look and plenty of space. Very clean bathroom with nice thick towels. I appreciated the small refrigerator enclosed in a cabinet which I used for fresh orange juice […] in the morning. Also, I was served a very attractive and delicious dinner from room service. "Will Stay at Again"
We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree in Culver City. The staff was great, the room was comfortable and clean and the amenities nearby were great. It's very convenient to the airport, gas stations, a mall with a Target store, a pharmacy and grocery. Everything was in close proximity. It was easy to get to and near the 405. There are some things […] that could be updated, but overall we were very happy with our stay here. At check in the staff made a wonderful recommendation for dinner at BJ's Brewhouse which was only 5 minutes away. There were other restaurants nearby and the restaurant in the hotel has a delicious Chicken Quesidilla. They also have a steak option for $25 and it was worth it. The bar has excellent servers - Shannon, Simon, and Raymond were fun and friendly and contributed to the enjoyment of our stay. They have a great selection of wines and these guys mix up some great drinks. Tell them their favorite girls from the midwest say "Hello!" We will definitely stay here again! Lisez la suite

Had to change rooms a couple of times until i found one without torn or stained carpet, but they were spacious and comfortable. Parking and Internet are problematic, but it's a pretty good value for L.A. and easy to get to most places without being overwhelmed by traffic.

"Maintenance Issues"
The toilet wasn't working when I arrived. First, someone should have noticed that before I got there. Second, when they sent a guy with a plunger, he shouldn't have told me that he had fixed it when he hadn't. Third, when I told them that the toilet still wasn't working and asked them to just switch me to a different room (it was very late and I was […] very tired), they shouldn't have lied and told me that they had no more rooms. Twenty minutes later, when I complained that no one had come back to do anything about the toilet, they suddenly discovered an empty room two doors down from me. The double tree is a fine hotel,but would have been even nicew if there was coffee in the lobby and breakfast included in the price. They provide warm cookies, but no coffee and no breakfast. There is not much in the surrounding area other.

Stayed for 6 nights over Christmas. Rooms very nice, comfortable with adjustable Sleep Number beds. Had city view first 3 nights, means highway noise. Turn on HVAC unit fan to cancel noise. had to move because of building issue. Explaination handled very well and move was done by staff. Excellent job! Moved to other side of building and was much quieter. […] Aside from some slight amenity issues from Housekeeping like no glasses or only 1 coffee cup the room was great. I really enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree. The room was nice and comfortable and the workout facilities were great.
"Smoking smell"
Our room was nice but there was a lingering cigarette smell in the room. Even the sheets had the odor. It was hard to go to sleep because of the smell. The bed was comfortable.

The bed was supposed to be a sleep number but it was broken. The bed was super hard and miserable to sleep in. The next day we notified hotel staff about this and they questioned that we were not working it properly, not that it was broked. MISERABLE NIGHT SLEEP. Quality of their food was good, selection not very good, and price, way too much!

It´s our 2nd time in this hotel. We really recommend it. It has great location, clean, comfortable and good service. The only problem is: no breakfast included. So if you wanna have the buffet breakfast in the hotel you have to pay USD 18 per person. For me, too expensive. But everything else great!
