"Ideal pour visiter downtown LA"
Avis d'un client Hotels.com envoyé le 16 févr. 2013Propreté des chambres plus que correcte. Dommage pour l'accès Wifi pas disponible dans les chambres et uniquement à l’accueil. Le petit dej se fait dans des bols en cartons et des couverts en plastiques: bof pour le respect de l'environnement. Testé en février la température dans les chambres est correcte, mais en été ça doit chauffer un peu et il n'y a pas de clim. Sinon l'emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal pour la visite du centre, très proche du métro.

Propreté très médiocre, odeur de cigarette dans la chambre. Petit-déjeuné décevant. Malgré tout, l'hôtel est à 20mn d'Universal Studio, c'est trés pratique et peu cher. Une voie ferrée située près de l'hôtel engendre des bruits permanents de trains qui ont l'habitude de jouer de la siréne au passage à niveau, donc boules Quies obligatoires! This place is not recommended. For anyone who wants a good night sleep-avoid this place. Yes it is cheap but, you get what you pay for. Squeaky floors- so if you have someone staying above you, you will hear the floor. Plus, the neighbors are loud. So sense that people may want to sleep. Drunk, abnoxious people smoke in the hallway. The hotel was up to standards except our room reeked badly of cat urine. apparently a previous guest had had a cat in there which must have sprayed. The night time clerk couldn't switch our room because apparently they were full. The room keys also had to be re-programmed repeatedly which was annoying. "Housekeeping"
Going on vacation and staying at a hotel should be peaceful and enjoyable. I was not able to rest and sleep in do to the housekeeping walking around with their carts and making so much noise early in the morning. The first room that I was assigned was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled of smoke. The room was also located on a side, as a woman traveling alone, felt someone uncomfortable to me in regards to safety. I felt that if I came back to my room at night that I would feel unsafe walking to it alone. This was a gut feeling and when I expressed this to […] the management, I was told the entire building was safe. Management should just listen to this kind of gut feeling and understand, acknowledge it and not try to defend it. Women traveling alone should always feel safe and if they don't the hotel should be understanding. I was moved to a better location - two double beds instead of the king I requested. The room we first went to had a bad lock on the door so we switched rooms. We asked for 2 beds and we were put a room with 1 bed and a couch that had no second bed. My husband and I have stayed there twice in one month. The staff is great, including the room service crew. We will be going back there again this weekend. We like the price for the room, and the last room was cozy and comfortable. I did feel that the room needed work done, such as the tile grouting and painting in the bathroom. By the air conditioner […] there was a piece of the wall and baseboard missing, and it needs to be repaired. Touch-up painting needs to be done. The breakfast room is clean and offers a selection of food, such as cereal, toast, waffles, fruit, sweet rolls and eggs. All in all, everything is good for the price.
