cet hotel merite un petit coup de pouce. Piscine et activités aquatique plateau de courtoisie idéal pour le tea time changé tout les jours, seche cheveux ,fer à repasser ca n'est pas un 5 etoiles... mais

A good hotel for someone on a budget. Within easy reach of the motorway, and close to the city centre. Friendly staff and good room, though decor not wonderful. All you want for a 3 star city break.

Location ideally suited to visiting Loch Lomond Seaplanes, Glasgow Science Centre, and BBC Scotland. Enjoyed a warm welcome at Reception, and from Dining Room staff. No-problem parking. Pleasantly surprised by choice and quality of food at Dinner and Breakfast. Building showing its age. (A drop of oil would silence a number of squeaking doors on 2nd […] Floor.) This is the type of Hotel I prefer to stay. The staff is fantastic. Facilities are good. In short I am a very satisfied customer. I will go there again and again.

overall ok drinks a bit pricey

Hotel was warm and comfertable, location of room was fine, work needing done in room eg painting, curtains hung properly, grouting around bath and sink needing compleated, The biggest draw back was lack of staff in reception ( one person covering both reception and bar so had a long wait ) also in the dining area, Went for breakfast at 9 o clock on […] sun and was not seated till 9. 55, Buffet breakfast, over half the food not ready, a long wait (again) To many negatives not enough positives. The hotel in general was very nice, all the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. the main problem we encountered was that although the web-site for this hotel states clearly that it has a swimming pool and leisure facilities, well it doesn't and they have been closed for about a year. Also the reservation I made was incorect when we checked […] in, I had booked Dinner,Bed &Breakfast, but were down as just accomodation, check your booking. But overall not too bad a hotel, really good food, would highly recomend for that reason Lisez la suite

The hotel was okay but don't expect any car parking spaces if Rangers are at home!! Disappointingly they don't leave spaces for residents. Hotel is fine although it's looking really tired.

My review has everything to do with why I was in Glasgow. I came to sight see and to experience Scotland. This hotel is located in a very shady area of town. The other reviews say "great location" but that refers to the soccer stadium that the Glasgow Rangers play at. It is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. People stay at this hotel when they are […] in town to watch the game, not when they are sight seeing. We were LITERALLY the only ones in the hotel when the game was over and the fans had left. I thought it was just a really good deal at the time we booked the hotel because it was in a "great location." We HAD to eat at the hotel restaurant because there is nothing around the hotel that has regular restaurant hours. The restaurants cater to game nights, and will not serve you (you will not get a table, but can get take-out) because they take reservations by game goers up to 2 weeks in advance. The hotel staff were not friendly at all, and suggested that we use the library which was down the street for any information we needed about sight seeing in Glasgow. The lift will take you to your floor, but then you have to climb stairs with your luggage because they have 1/2 flights, and then carry your luggage down a long hall and through about 3 sets of double doors to the hotel's rooms. It is overall an akward stay. The hotel itself isn't that great, and was great for experiencing the Rangers spirit and the love people have for the game, but is pretty isolated for visitors without a vehicle. Old and worn out. The staff did not seem bothered.There was no remote for the tv and the answer I was give was "they get stolen, I'll see if I can find one". They never got back to me so I was left not knowing!!!!!!!

Fast and efficient check in. Room was perfectly adeqaute. We were visiting relatives outside the city centre so this hotel was perfectly placed for us and a lot cheaper. Lift out of order, swimming pool etc out of order since beginning of year, moved bed to join 2 singles together and they hadnt been vaccuumed for a long time. Great location and ample parking

Was excellent Value for money, great service excellent staff alway's there to help, was a great wkend away, people say u get what u pay for, I would of paid more for this kind of service elsewhere, didn't make much use of the bar/restaurant was a karaoke style noght on the saturday great atmosphere going back again soon and taking some friend's with […] me I'm so impressed, staff are excellent, very easy going and polite. I booked a 2 single bed but i got 1 double bed. and there was a room inside the room. so when inquired told the keys are with mgt. but security of the room questionable

This hotel is very well situated next to Ibrox for football games.The health suite is under total refurbishment and no date of completion is available from staff.If no football is on then the service is found to be slow in the bar area.The room smelled of mold and had paint flaking in the bathrooms .Booked for 3 nights and left after 1.

Hotel was nothing like it lokked on Hotels.com. Very poor standard, wouldn't give the bar food to my dogs, it was so bad. Swimming pool was closed for 'maintanence'!! NEVER GOING BACK!!!

The windows didn't close, so there was a 'gale' blowing into the room. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the room, and overall the hotel was disapointing and of a poor standard. We expected better from this chain of hotels. However, the staff were helpful and friendly but I'm afraid we won't be staying there again!

Breakfast expensive

This was a very pleasant hotel ...bedrooms need a little updating but were clean and comfortable.The pool sauna and spa were lovely . We booked this hotel as we were going to a concert at Hampden Stadium and searches brought this hotel up as being one of the closest....too far to walk and about £15 each way in a taxi so not as close as we would have […] liked . Clean and tidy hotel, close to centre, pleasant staff, great price! Would return.

Jeg bodde nylig tre netter på dette hotellet. Hotellet ligget ett godt stykke unna sentrum(6-7£ med taxi). Hvis du tar turen i Glasgow for å oppleve byens pulserende uteliv vil jeg ikke anbefale deg å velge ett annet hotell(slik at du slipper å bruke mye penger å taxi). Nærmeste undergunnstasjon er Ibrox som ligger 5 minutters gange unna. Undergrunnen […] stenger forøvrig lenge før byens uteplasser. Jeg valgte Swallow grunnet beliggenheten og pris. The Swallow ligger ett steinkast unna Ibrox Park(hjemmebanen til Rangers). Prismessing er the Swallow gunstig, men det er ikke uten grunn. Hotellets standard er så som så. Lisez la suite

Wer vorhat Glasgow und Umgebung zu erkunden und nicht nur die Hotelzimmer genießen will, der kann im Swallow Hotel perfekt residieren! Sämtlich Anfragen zum Sightseeing und allem anderem sind sofort beantwortet worden, die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel, auch wenn nicht von oberster Spitze, was man in einem 3* Hotel nicht erwarten muss... Nachdem man […] den ganzen Tag Shoppen bzw. Sightseeing in Glasgow und Umgebung war, kann man im hoteleigenen Leisure Club im Whirlpool oder der Sauna den Tag ausklingen lassen kann...! Innsjekkingen tok nærmere en time. Alt annet var åpenbart viktigere enn å betjene folk som faktisk hadde møtt opp for å sjekke inn på hotellet. For eksempel er det direkte frekt å prioritere å svare på et utall telefoner når du har en laaaaang kø av gjester som gjerne vil betjenes. Ellers helt OK.
