The stay was very nice. However before checking out we found 2 silver bugs on the pillows. Other than that the hotel was very nice, staff was helpful in getting us a fridge for our room for my sons antibiotics.Avis véridique Hotels.com
"jVery Good but Noisy"
Stayed here one night while traveling. The staff was very helpful. Directed us to a nice restaurant within walking distance. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and nicely furnished, bed was comfortable. One drawback: very noisy plumbing! When the neighboring room turned on their shower the roar was deafening. […] Had to turn up the TV quite loud in order to hear. A conversation at normal voice levels was impossible. I have stayed in thousands of hotels all over the world and this plumbing wins first prize for noisy. This place is probably fine for a one-nighter but I wouldn't want to stay long. I would be wary of any of the other hotels in this chain. The buildings are probably built from uniform plans and thus they would all likely have noisy plumbing. "Hotel was great for an overnight"
I thought this hotel was fine. It was clean and the breakfast buffet was better than most. It's not the quietest hotel from a plumbing and noise between floor perspective. 'the room accomodations were very nice, especially travelling with two small childrem -- loved the pool facilities (good hours) and the fitness room. Breakfast was terrific with a lot of selections. "Convenient to family."
My room was wonderful, as it was last year, except that the deadbolt on my door would not latch. The front desk tried to fix it and because of the holiday weekend could not get any other maintenance over to repair it. Being along in a room in my 80's, it made me very uncomfortable. I asked the front desk gal to check my room door throughout the night, […] which I hope she did, but I was not happy that it could not be fixed during my stay. First room smelled of cigarettes front desk was very helpful to give us a second room smelled much better. The new room had syrup down the side of the bedskirt but the rest of the room was clean. The front desk girls were extremely nice especially bailey they went out of their way to greet you and help in any way. The beds in the suite were like staying in a 5 star very soft and fluffy. Breakfast was good and changed some things daily. We went for a wedding but there was a little league baseball tournament with about a 100 kids and even with […] that the room was quite and didnt hear that much noise considering the noise level in the hotel. We stayed here while dropping our daughter off at University of Oregon, because it was cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express in Eugene. We were quite happy with the choice. There are lots of great food options within walking distance. Overall, great experience--the only […] ding would be the elevator, which is small and old. My son got stuck in it for a few minutes. The people that work at this hotel are marvelous, from the reception we got from Gayle, to the great breakfast with a smile by Silvia (the buffet was very complete, eggs, bacon included), to the humor-filled conversation with Arlene who came to ask us if all was well.
