Irvine Suites Hotel - Lake Forest

We checked in on Monday and was fine all was nice except they don't tell you 2 breakfast tickets per room and 5.00 for each additional. Friday night some kids checked in and for 4 hours I called the front desk and they did mostly come up an calm them down but on the last call they called the police and they came and ended up taking someone to jail. […] But Monday through Thursday we had not one problem with the people staying there or the staff. There looked to be some shady folks but they kept to themselves. Parking was horrible the spaces were to small and not enough but they are redoing the motel and that took some of the parking. It is going to be really nice when they are done. But just wish the floors were a little more stable they shook when you walked but all in all an ok motel for the money. Lisez la suite

We did not get the room we ordered. When we got a similar room, it too, was not very clean--the carpets are very dirty; they are remoldeling, but doing a sloppy job with it --not much care involved. Parking is terrible

Front desk staff was rude, and per occupied with a personal guest in the front lobby.. When we got to the room a so called suite, the heater was on full blast, no linens on the bed at all, just a bare mattress. Old food on the counters in the bedroom. Old linens stuffed in the closet.. Carpets were disgusting. Luggage rack in the shower. Overall the […] worst experience I have ever had.. When I went to the front desk to tell him, he was still preoccupied with his guest and I asked for him to go up there and show him the room he said no! I booked with this hotel because of the rating and I saw that it had a Kithenette. microwave. The guy at the front desk was very hard to understand and rude. If it wasn't for the manager I would have been in a very undescribable filthy room with a six inch gap in the couch koshin. The room I got moved to finally was okay. It stank in smell, tub was […] very uneven, outlets were shot. Breakfast was something for free but I couldn't stand too eat most of it. Elevator would never come to the fourth floor. I just couldn't stand it there more than one night but had reservations for five. I would lose my money if I didn't stay the one though. NEVER AGAIN THOUGH. We couldn't believe the great price for an overnight stay, and with breakfast included - this was a great value. The pool was unavailable as the deck was being reconstructed, and the rooms are large but just average as far as cleanliness goes, but overall, this was a good place to stay for one night.

The Hotel looks it is still underconstruction. From what I see it was constructed very poorly "shoty construction and very bad quality" There is no service to speak off except for the complementary internet and breakfest. for what i paid, it was a steal. 2 room suite, far exceeded my expectation. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. saving this on for next time i am down that way.

When we arrived the front desk sent us to a room which was already occupied. Had to go down and get a new key. Reserved a "King Jacuzzi Suite". Didn't get one. Front desk had an attitude when I asked about it and it seemed like he somehow thought it was my fault. Bar/lobby under construction (thanks for the warning on that one). Room advertisement stated 'Queen' beds they gave us double. Stains on the floor, you can tell the place was not for family a lot of "shady" people. Stayed one night left to the Laguna hills lodge. This Place needs a punchlist. Outlets were out of walls. Coffee was gross stains in tub. Lots of things were wrong. Bad place.

we always stay at this hotel for our weekly business stay. it is convenient and located near freeway and shops

enjoyed my stay, close to the beach and great resturants.Surroundng area is quiet and easy access to the feeway.

From automatic sprinklers wetting you car to you television or safe not functioning. Management approached issues of standard hotel services as if the customer was a burden. Not a good place to stay!

I had a very very pleasant stay there. My room was very afforable and much much bigger than I expected it to be! The outside of the hotel looks a little worn but the room was amazing, clean, and well furnished. It was not what I expected from the outside but I assure you the inside was completely different.

There are plenty of other hotels in Orange County that offer better prices and actually keep things clean. This place was disgusting.

I was pleasantly surprised at this "2 star" hotel. I booked a room for a nearby concert and sort of expected the worse. Not the case. Front desk girls were friendly and made me laugh, the pool was nice, grounds were clean and our room was way more than I expected. A standard room had a separate living room, a huge vanity with a ceramic bowl sink sitting […] on top (classy touch for a hotel). We got home late and people were in the jacuzzi, so not real snobbish on rules either. Comes with a complimentary breakfast but we missed it, so can't comment. Overall I would recommend unless your looking for a high end experience. I plan to return for my next Verizon concert. Lisez la suite

The hotel is under new management and is being renovated. The hotel is excellent and the staff are are very helpful. They are knowledgable of the surrounding areas. The rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent place to stay

The room felt dirty. It was questionable whether they had actually changed the sheets or not

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is right near the Verizon Wirless anphitheater; my destination and reason for staying at this hotel. As well, compared to other places for the price and quality of stay, the rooms have a sparate sleeping area from the sitting area. The housekeepers did not clean. The bed sheets smelt awful there was a lot of noise, drinking, and smoking. Our first room smelt like cigarettes. the carpet was dirty.The only bright side was the complimentary breakfast

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last three years. In my opinion the condition of the hotel has degraded rapidly. The bed in the room was literally broken on one side. Room cleanliness was an issue as the frig wasn't cleaned out. The hotel has seen much better days. Beware.

In my opinion Irvine is more better cauz i itz pretty easy going as in money,location,food etc...it has a good interiors, spacious roomz, double rooms specially ...... very clean...well manered people ..nd finally v kind... in nature.....

It's an average hotel in a noisy location. The hotel has had some renovations but is far from finished.

Hotel amenities indicated it had a hot breakfast, which it did; however, it was only for two people. For every person in the room over two, there was a charge for breakfast. Hotel was not as clean as expected, nor was the room on par with what the description led me to believe it would be.

While this hotel is undergoing renovations, the remodeled rooms still don't have what it takes for repeat business. First, the door would not shut properly. Second, the ironing board is a small tabletop unit that does not help. Third, the iron was broken. Strange stain on the carpet next to the bed. This hotel just gave me the creeps. The rooms where ok except the Beds they were harder than a rock, and the carpet was old and had not been shampood for a while.

This is an older hotel and things were rundown. However, there was construction going on in some of the rooms and common areas. Parking was limited due to the construction though. The convenience of the two room suite was great, especially with small children. The pool was clean and was a definite highlight.
