I really enjoyed my stay here. At first, I was a bit worried when I drove into the complex and saw a group of housekeepers standing around, talking and on cell phones when they were supposed to be cleaning a room, not to mention the semi-dirty carpeting in my room. Other than this, the room was clean, I felt secure (despite the pseudo-sketchy neighborhood) […] and the hotel was close to EVERYTHING!! I could get to downtown or wherever in just 10 minutes. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants w/in walking distance and if you like adult entertainment, you're in luck - there are at least 5 places in the area. Cheap and fairly clean room (though I did find a hair in the fridge) and convenient to everywhere. Lisez la suite

It was close to the airport and the front desk staff was very nice, but the room was cramped, and the carpet was very dirty. Had we not only been using it for a few hours, we would have not stayed.

We were arriving late in Tampa, and didn't want to spend a lot for a room, we would be leaving early the next morning. This place did the job. It was somewhat dated, overall clean and pleasant, although htere was a little mold in the shower. The staff was a little indiferent, but polite. Easy convenient access. The bed was comfy and the A/C worked great! […] It is by no means a resort hotel, although the pool did look clean, we didn't use it. It was fine for our purpose of a safe, clean convenient place to stay without breaking the bank. was tired from trip and was unable to check in an hour or so early and when I did room was not as clean as it could have been and the remote control for the tv would only turn on the tv , unable to change channels from bed had to get up to change channels and volume. unacceptable.

Never again! Only thing that went well for us is that our reservation was still there. We requested a crib/playpen for our daughter and they gave it to another customer. I'm glad we didn't get it actually because if it was as clean as our room was, my daughter would have never step foot inside of it. The carpets were not vacuumed and the bathtub had […] hair in it. We didn't even bother to attempt the Continental Breakfast. The Internet was down and the phone didn't work either. My wife called it 'Bachelor Clean' lol. The condition and hospitality was bad. The wireless was not working in my room. I have to go back to work or Starbuck to finished my task. The excuses were conflicting and those not make senses at all.

The only negative was a drip in the bathroom. The ironing board and iron both worked! The TV sort of worked. A Longhorn restaurant was next door - really good food. Price was right!

This place is a rat hole. I stupidly walked around barefoot on the carpet for maybe 3-5 minutes after showering. I laid on the bed and looked at my feet and they were BLACK! I am not exaggerating. So I thought maybe I forgot to wash them? So I went and rewashed them and scrubbed them spotless. Walked back in the room and laid down a couple of MINUTES […] later and they were black again! Not just a little dirty - BLACK!! Should have took a picture. The carpet didn't LOOK dirty but obviously was. The AC was LOUD AS A TRACTOR. The staff were abysmal and didn't think the filthy carpet was even an issue. Stay away! Lisez la suite

If u just need a spot to sleep, that is close to the airport, then this spot is great. The room was clean and cheap. Plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance.

Wanted to get some good night sleep. AC unit at wall was no loud that could not get any. This is hotel to avoid unless one does not want to sleep or like nicely cooled rooms.

We thought the location would be great and it was convenient. HOWEVER, with 2 strip clubs in walking distance and signs in the lobby about cash paying customers, room damage, and noise insinuating that the rooms might be used by some less than desirable clients, we will find some place else next time. Oh and breakfast was beyond sad. It was a celebration […] of convenience foods in plastic wrappers. We had a pleasant stay. The area isn't especially nice, but it is near tons of stores, a few minutes down to the bay, a couple blocks from I-275, and ten minutes to Ybor City. All of our expectations were met and I would stay there again when on a budget.

Basically the hotel staff is what my review is based on. Very bad service. DO NOT give your credit card for incidentals. I was there 2 days, and they charged my card with unauthorized charges. I actually had to dispute it thru my bank to get the money back.

Service was good but room was not so good. Must wear shoes on the carpet. Nothing but strip clubs all around. If you have kids not so good. If you want a cheap place to stay coupled with decent service then this place is perfect!

Free shuttle to the airport, free breakfast..that's all I cared about. Location isn't good for a family vacation. Road is very busy, pawn shops and adult stores right next door.

BATHROOM HAD MOLD AROUND TUB AND CEILING, RUSTY SHOWER ROD,SAFE DID NOT WORK, WHO EVER PAINTED THE ROOM MUST OF BEEN 7 OR 8 YRS. OLD, THEY PAINTED 1/2 THE TRIM AROUND THE DOORS AND FLOORS, ROOM WAS DATED! Could not get the temperature of the room up to a comfortable level. Florida had an unusually cold snap. The light in the bathroom "sort of" worked. The toilet wasn't real happy about flushing. But, the place is right across the street from the finest nudie bar in the world, so it was worth it.

The place was ok. you get what you pay for. Room was certainly decent, beds were comfortable, and it was clean. Included breakfast had individual wrapped bagels, cream cheese, muffins, juice machine juice, milk, coffee, cereal, oatmeal, not very good fruit. Water pressure in the shower was just about non-existent. A/C was very loud, not sure if I would […] have been able to sleep with it on. This is a motel with outside access directly from your room and of course I could not open my drapes as anyone on the walkway would be able to look right inside. It was perfectly fine for my purposes. Note about the neighborhood - there are 3 strip clubs within easy walking distance, so keep that in mind. Easy access to the convention center area though. Check in time starts at 2PM. Yet when I arrived I waited until 2:30 for an available room in the lobby. Also, the city was having a water contamination alert and was recommending water be boiled before any consumption. No one from the hotel told me & I only found out by eating at a restaurant after check in. The only concern my daughter and I had was Tampa water problem this weekend and the motel staff made no mention telling us to not use the water had we been an out of state traveler we may not have known of the restrictions for Tampa.

Room was ok at best, only got a couple of tv channels. The worst part other than the large parties that went on into the morning, was the lack of concern the hotel had on their guests safety. The city was under a boil water alert and failed to notify its guests. I found out after reading the paper and brought it to their attention. This place was OK, we needed someplace close to the airport for an early flight the next day. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy - several strip clubs and a smoke shop are on the same block. Down the road from a couple of spring training stadiums but about 5 minutes from the airport.
