Cet hôtel est bien situé, il a l'avantage d'avoir un parking. Les chambres sont juste un peu plus petites que ce à quoi nous sommes habituées aux Etats-Unis.

Cet hôtel est vraiment bien placé, calme ( chambre sur Marina ) le service est de qualité et la petit-déj toujours aussi sympa ! Très bon choix d'étape pour calme et propreté.
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.
Une pièce d'identité officielle avec photo et un dépôt de garantie en espèce ou par carte de crédit sont requis à l'arrivée pour couvrir tous frais imprévus.

I totally enjoyed my visit! The room was cute and for the price which included a happy hour reception of a glass of wine and cheese it was wonderful. It is not extravagant, but quaint. I had only one concern and that was the mini-frig did not work. Replaceable from the maintenance crew, although I did not see it worth the trouble to ask. CS

"Really Bad and Dangerous"
Young Kid at the desk without knowledge of the hotel. Security door and emergency bar broken and we had an issue getting in. Asked for rooms together and we were put on opposite ends of the hotel. Rooms were very dirty and really small. Hotels.com should be embarrassed to have them on the list.

My wife and I stay at the Clocktower Inn frequently because we have family in Ventura. The staff is friendly. The included breakfast is above average for this type accomodation and, of course, reduces the cost of your stay. The beds are good and the rooms are usually quiet. "comp b'kfast"
Comp "breakfast" is a joke - best thing: a homeless man came in, scooped up most of it and departed happy as lark. This sent us to go to a local eatery (just around the corner) and enjoy a real one.
the room smelled and the shower was not to clean the carpet was so dirty that we would not walk around bare foot the ther are so many homeless people begging that it is uncomfortable to walk around in the down town area

No bath towels in the room. Bathtub group was coming loose. Very dirty carpet in room. Too bad because this is a charming hotel and great location. Complimentary breakfast is served in a charming covered garden area.

"Cute place and great location!"
It is definitely not the most modern hotel but it is cute and in a great location. You couldn't beat it for the price. I also liked the large balconies off of the room and they offer free breakfast and wine and cheese at happy hour. It is in walking distance of the main street and the beach. Would stay again for sure if I was in the area.

The hotel is in an old building, but the staff works to make your stay pleasant. The location worked well for me. I would like to stay there again and plan on booking my room for next year.

As my husband said, it's one step above camping as they had running water! Service was great! Hotel condition was very bad! We were upgraded to a room with a patio and was so excited! We found spider webs, doors that don't lock securely, dirty, gaps in doors, more spider webs!!! Very disappointing. We requested to move to another room. "Ask for a quiet room"
There is a night club next door to the hotel and you can hear very loud music until about 2AM. It kept us up but our friends who stayed on the other side of the hotel didn't hear anything. Overall the hotel was a decent value for the price and walking distance to restaurants, the beach, etc. The staff is very friendly.

I paid too much for this hotel and the problems were these: - We were off duty police officers that needed to store our weapons in their safe...they chose not to from what I sensed was lack of trust -The toilet rings, shower spigot handles were broken and moldy -There were a lot of mental homeless people outside our window screaming thru the day and […] night -Wine and cheese service was a utter joke -towels were scruffy and soap(s) were pinner - Ice machine was empty I paid too much for a 2 bed and was comfortable at a Super 8! "Clock tower in Ventura."
If you don't need anything fancy this is a great place. Located near old town. There are many great resturants to choose from. The only major problem is the parking is very limited. I would only recomend this hotel for a overnighter or 2 night max though.

The location of the hotel is great, but the building needs some updating. The beds were not comfortable and could use some updated linens.

"Walk anywhere!"
I am familiar with Ventura and the location of this hotel made me appreciate the city even more. Less is definitely more. I loved simplicity of the room and setup of the hotel.

Good features and amentities for the price. Walk to Fairgrounds and Main Street shops and restaurants. This in a Downtown area, but we felt safe and City is clean. We would stay there again.

The room would have been OK if it doesnt have that musty bad smell.Otherwise the location is very convenient.Also there is a dinner place that converts into a dance hall or nightclub next door that plays loud music to the wee hours of 2 am.Another suggestion,a microwave in the room will be nice.
