Inn on the Square - Falmouth

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cet hôtel à Pâques 2012. Service impeccable, personnel prévenant et à disposition. Séjour très agréable dans une belle région. A proximité de la rue commerçante de Falmouth, location de vélos en face de l'hôtel.

Super hôtel, rien à redire!!

We loved our overnight stay at the Inn on the Square. Wish we could have stay longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very enjoyable and the coffee was delicious and the service was very efficient and friendly. We look forward to staying there in the not too distant future.

As an adult the pool could not be used. There were no adult hours so an adult relaxing in the pool was an impossibility. Many many children, too much noise, splashing. Not an environment for adults to relax in. The room walls are paper thin. We were woken during the night several times with our neighbors adult activity. And during the daytime also. […] I do not know what they can do about this other than make sure the beds in ajoining rooms are not on the same walls. This is our second year staying at the Inn. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Friendly staff and a beautiful pool to enjoy.

Great place and close to everything. Within walking to main street.

My daughter and I needed to find a last minute place to stay, while at the Cape to attend a funeral. The rate was extremely reasonable. We enjoyed the quaintness of the hotel. The room was quiet, and very comfortable. We loved the down comforters on the beds as well, very cozy. The indoor pool was pleasantly warm. This is a charming hotel with a wonderful staff. The front office was very friendly and helpful as was the wait staff in the restaurant. We loved our stay!

I loved my stay at Inn on the Square. Clean, excellent bed, convenient location, free internet. The restaurant next door had excellent breakfast (not included in room price). I stayed here for business, but would come back on a leisure trip also. Did not get to use the microwave or fridge in the room. The pine furniture softens the otherwise cookie […] cutter room decor. Quiet location. My only complaint is that the walls are a bit 'thin', I could hear part of the conversation in the next door room. The location is perfect if you have a car (just off RT 28), only OK if you don't since it is not close enough to the ocean and several km from Woods Hole. Lisez la suite

Very nice hotel, but not muct to do off-season. The hotel itself is slightly more run-down than the way it looks in the pictures. Note: There is no elevator - so if you are handicapped make sure to ask for a room on the first floor when making a reservation. Other review sites concerned me, saying that this hotel had a strange smell and I would wholeheartedly disagree. The hotel was clean, comfortable, with a nice staff. When I booked two rooms, they took it upon themselves to put us in adjoining rooms and, noticing we had children, we were on the bottom floor, near the pool and the parking lot. The restaurant […] was lovely for breakfast. Great food. And location can't be beat. Easy access from off-Cape and right In the center of Falmouth with plenty to do within walking distance. Upon arrival the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They were very talkative and offered suggestions on where to eat and what to do. The room was clean, comfortable, and a decent size.

Our room was a double queen bed near the pool - it was quite clean and sunny, and we were looking forward to a relaxing visit ... But as the night wore on, we could hear everything being said in the room next door, and above, every footstep! I even called the front desk to see if there was a party up there - they said a curt 'sorry, I'll let them know' […] and never called ... Because we would have heard that, too. In the end I had to keep the tv on all night just to sleep. We won't return. Lisez la suite

The Inn on the Square is a very clean hotel. Very helpful service and courteous employees. We will stay there again.

We unfortunately only had one night to spend in Falmouth. Inn on the Square was a wonderful option, and good value at that. The location is reasonably convenient, the hotel is well maintained and pleasant to the eye, the room was impeccably presented and the experience met our expectations in every way. The attached restaurant offers up a hearty fare […] at breakfast. Not far up the road are many restaurants to choose from for a lovely evening meal - we chose the wood fired pizza place, which proved to be simply excellent. We go every year in the winter for a swim meet, the hotel is super and the staff is amazing, kids love the indoor pool!

Inn on the sqaure has the feel of a resort minus the spa. The staff is kind , and curtious,who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable . It's in a great location. Just off the square, with quick access to down town falmouth, Woods hole, the ferry's, upper cape, or back on 28 over the bridge . Great accomadations at a very reasonable price.

This hotel was perfect for me and my family! We will come back again.

The Inn was conveinent to the ferry to Martha's Vineyard where we were headed, right in Falmouth and very convenient to shopping and good restaurants and the staff was cordial and helpful. The pool was a hit with our 9 year old. We would recommend it highly to anyone for an overnight stay. And the price was reasonable.

The perfect, peaceful off-season getaway for a winter visit to Falmouth.

Very pleasant hotel. Room was clean, indoor pool was fine. Percy's Restauranrt (lunch and dinner) was clean and the food quality was good. Excellent restaurant located directly across the street. Slight complaint: Toilet did not flush fully. I went to the front desk who said they would send maintenance. I maintenance did come the toilet was exactly […] the same when I got back in the evening. Not a lot of bells and whistles but the price was great and the hotel was comfortable and clean. I am a satisfied customer who will likely return.

Not a good hotel. The lock on my door did not work. When I told the staff, they said they would lock the outside doors and patrol my room every 1/2 hour. REALLY? If that didn't keep me awake, the snoring of the next door patron DID! Paper-thin walls !!!!! Another member of our party did not have a cable box in her room where the rest of us did! Hmmmm!!! Our stay at The Inn on the Square was quiet, comfortable, and convenient. With walking distance to the center of Falmouth, lovely shops right across the street, and bus transportation right next door to the Steamship Authority ferry to Martha's Vineyard, the location is perfect. We come to Falmouth often to visit our daughter. The Inn on the Square is very convenient to the Peter Pan bus depot. The rooms were pleasant with a comfortable bed. Route 28 turns into a major raceway from 3am to 8 am...there is a rush to the ferry. Trucks pound the pavement...if a good night's sleep is a priority, then, do not stay at this Inn. Great place to stay...many shops, restaurants within walking distance....professional staff...cozy beds... thumbs up!

My fiancee and I were very pleased with our stay at the Inn on the Square. It was awesome! The room and the bed were very comfortable. The staff at the hotel were very accomodating. One suggestion that we would have are that the towels be bigger and thicker.

Already recommended to friends.

Large clean and comfortable room. Very helpful staff. My son liked being able to borrow DVD's to use in the room.

The Inn on the Square is a wonderful place to stay during a visit to the Cape Cod area. The room was spacious, the front desk folks very friendly and helpful, the parking secluded and off the street, and there are several restaurants close by. The Inn on the Square in Falmouth MA hotel on Cape Cod is a fabulous location, near to village shops and restaurants, and near to the Ferry to Martha's Vineyard. We were placed in an Annex to the main building by the parking lot. The guest services person was helpful in recommending a local restaurant. The night clerk was great....she was able to assist me with dinner reservations and local information plus wentout of her way to make sure my mail was posted for the following morning. Above and Beyond

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful city. It's close to the downtown area and to the shuttle stop. The room was nice; the bed was very comfortable. There are a couple of considerations--we were on the first floor and the noise from the floor above was distracting. Also, there was a delay in the restaurant in the hotel and the food is just okay.
