It was good for a one night stop-over on the way to Florida. The bathroom would have been better if it had had a fan. The coffee pot was supposed to be plugged in behind the cabinet with the microwave and refrigerator, but was not. "Friendly but not super-clean"
This was a decent place to stay on our long drive to our vacation destination. The staff were all very friendly. The pool was nice, but not easy to find, since it is shared with another hotel, so seems to be theirs. The carpet throughout needs a serious deep cleaning. My socks were filthy just from walking in the room. The hallways were even worse. […] Breakfast was decent, and just what we needed before completing our long drive. Nicest staff I've ever seen... Coffee available in the lobby 24/7 with sugar and cream... Rooms very clean. Excellent for the price. After finding out I had to make a last minute family trip 600 miles one way, I checked out hotels and reviews at around half way, Paducah. This one was highly reviewed and also happened to be the cheapest available price. The pool was decent sized and my son loved it. We all slept well...my boyfriend saying that was the best night's sleep he'd had in […] ages! We loved the fluffy pillows and mattresses. Would definitely stop there again if I needed to be in that area again! Was also really convenient to the mall and several different kinds of eating establishments...Olive Garden, TGIFs, Wendy's, Panera Bread, Sonic, Arby's, etc. etc.... I had to wait 20 Mins for someone to show up at the counter just to check in. We requested a NON smoking room ( the room was a smoking room ) We had to switch rooms. The clerk wasn't very friendly and acted put out that we were there. Once again we have learned to stay in a higher priced hotel.
