personnel charmant et toujours prêt à renseigner. Chambres spacieuses et propres. Rien à redire.

Que dire ? Pour le prix je ne suis pas décue (ni surprise). Des gens qui parlent très fort la nuit.. On nous facture 3 films qu'on a soit disant louer via la télévision : 45e !!! Je sais pas quel genre de film peut etre aussi cher.. Coup de coeur pour Carlos le serveur, Un plaisir tout les matins pour le petit déjeuner ! Nous sommes restés une nuit seulement dans cet hôtel le temps de prendre notre avion le lendemain matin, nous sommes satisfaits dans le cadre de cet usage (cela reste un hôtel d'aéroport avec les inconvénients que cela comporte). La navette pour l'aéroport fonctionne bien toute la nuit toutes les demi-heures.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel au mois d'août 2011. l'hôtel est éloigné du centre. Heureusement il y a une navette gratuite et disponible à tout moment pour vous rendre à l'aéroport ou vis versa. De là on peut voyager en bus ou en train pour se rendre dans le centre(new york entre autre) Il y a un restaurent si vous n'avez pas eu le temps de manger […] et le prix est abordable. L'acceuil en anglais ne nous génait pas trop (logique vu notre destination), ce qui a le plus géner c'est le manque de sourire et de patience à l'acceuil justement, et dés que nous avions une question certains personnels de l'hotel nous faisait signe qu'il nous comprenait pas. Notre lit était fait tout les jours mais la chambre n'était pas pour autant […] laver (moquette, poussiere), les serviettes étaient également changer tous les jours, le personnel d'entretien des chambres ( indou à 95%) ne parlais ni anglais ni espagnol et se permettait de crier des le matin à 7h20am, chose qu'un jour mon compagnon leur a reprocher le soir meme aucun menage n'etait fait dans la chambre ! De ce fait je ne conseillerai cet hotel à personne, malgrés la sympathie du chauffeur de bus qui nous emmenait tous les jours à NYC (25dollars par pers). Sur ce nous avons trés apprécié NYC (c'etait notre objectif de vacances) mais la prochaine fois quitte à payer plus chere nous prendrons un hotel à NYC. Lisez la suite

Rapport "qualité prix" est moins bien car j'ai trouvé un autre hôtel pas loin de HowardJohnson mieux que lui en terme de rapport "qualité prix".

Rien à dire. J'ai passé un bon séjour.

hotel bien situé aux pieds de l'aéroport chambres propres et agréables une bonne surprise: le restaurant de l'hotel qui offre pour un prix modique de bonnes et grosses assiettes pour restaurer les affamés d'un long voyage (salades,pizzas,hamburgers...)

tres bon hotel j'y retounerait sans hesiter les chambres sont faite tous les jours le centre de new york est a 30 min tres bien desservi une salle de sport comprise dans le prix

Receptionnistes parfaitement inutiles, du moins peu arrangeant, ne faisant aucun effort sur la langue et peu doué pour renseigner les clients, des femmes de ménages qui viennent papoter devant votre chambre malgré le papier "ne pas déranger", afin que vous décidiez de vous lever et de quitter la chambre, trop de poussière dans les chambres (nous en […] avons fait 3 différentes), un arrêt de bus très mal placé, en effet, il faut marcher dans la rue pour y acceder, ce qui s'avère être très dangereux, particulièrement dans les virages. En revanche, les clients disposent d'une navette gratuite 24h sur 24 pour se rendre à l'aeoport et pour rentrer à l'hotel, de façon illimité. Il y'a une salle de sport au 3eme étage. Certaines chambres sentent mauvais (au moins 1). Celle-ci sentait le moisis au rdc. Problème de ventilation (et pour cause certaines prises sont rouillées) forte humidité et moquette mouillée, bizarre ! alors que j'y ai passé un autre séjour, la chambre était très correcte.

Difficile d'accès le soir à cause du parcours sinueux. Avons trouvé l'hôtel par hasard malgré le trajet suggéré par Google. Situé à côté de la piste d'atterrissage , on s'habitue éventurellement aux arrivées. Cependant, le décollage des gros porteurs à 4h00 du matin nous tient réveillé pendant une grosse demi-heure . everything about the hotel itself is excellent, the refridgerator n microwave made life soo much easier for people like us who being indians and veg donot find easy access to restaurants with our taste... so packing a ,eal and having it later is a necessity... however the place is a bit difficult to get to, the nearest nj trnasit bus stop of bus 40, […] is a walk of about 10 minutes form the hotel, thereafter take a train from penn to manhattan, it comes to 13 dollars per person per day for the return trip... taking the shuttle from hotel to nerark airport n then the airlink to railroad connection for the train to manhattan is easier on the body but will cost u 25 for the return trip per person, same as what the hotel charges for a direct drop off n pick up... anyways we r penny pinchers , cos inspite of this we land up spending sooo much n these vacations, and the cost of transit to and from the hotel is the only major drawback for anyone visiting manhattan on vacation with family... This hotel is very close to the airport and not far from the train station. The furniture however is destroyed and the televisions needed to be replaced a few years ago. The first room we checked into the color didn't even work. The second room the handles were all missing from the drawers, but it was better to settle for that than a dysfunctional  […] television. This hotel is in a location between second hand car dealers, car breakers and longterm parking lots, Far away from any place at all. I did not l;ike the room, it was too noisy and the oveerall quality was low.

I needed to be near the airport and didn't want to spend alot of money. If that is your primary goal and comfort and luxury is not one of your needs then you can forego luxury for one night. It's old, the walls are thin, but it was clean and the parking was free.

PLACE IS A DUMP, NOTHING AROUND THE AREA TO DO, NOT A SHOP IN SIGHT. STAFF HAVE A DONT CARE ATTITUDE, LIKE THEY ARE DOING YOU A FAVOUR, CLEANLINESS IS OK, ROOM SERVICE DONT BOTHER REFILLIG COFEE SACHETS, ACCESS TO DOWNTOWN IS VIA THE AIPORT, SHUTTLE TAKES YOU TO THE AIRPORT, TAKE AIRTRAIN TO TERM.C, THEN TAKE BUS,62 TO NEWARK PENN STATION AND THEN OATH […] TRAIN TO UP OR DOWNTOWN NYC. THERE ARE OTHER BETTER HOTELS IN AROUND THE SAME PRICE RANGE, SOME OFFER BREAKFAST AND OTHERS FREE SHUTTLE TO NEWARK PENN STATION. The hotel itself is not bad: the rooms are comfortable and quiet, if a bit dated; the restaurant has decent food; and the hotel offers a gym and laundry room. But it's terribly managed. The card keys are an absolute disaster. They basically work once, so if you so much leave your room to get ice you won't be able to enter again. I had to go to the lobby […] at least twice a day, to ask them to get my card key working again and not once did any of the employees said so much as "sorry" for the inconvenience. If anything, they seemed to act as though I was inconveniencing them. In the end I was so frustrated that if I planned to leave my room for short periods, I just left the door open, which is less than ideal but it saved me a trip downstairs. If the hotel were better managed, it would be a good place to stay, but right now I wouldn't recommend it. Lisez la suite

I am frequent visitor and although I know of the parking fee I find it to be quite unfair. It's gone up from $15 to $17 dollars just in the past few months.

I was 18 minutes from getting on the shuttle at the hotel to being at my gate. Can not get more convenient location for quick access to P4 Aritrain and they have 24 hour non-stop shuttle service.

The hotel itself is worth the money, but when I arrived they told me to park on the neighbor's ground (which is commercial long term parking). So I asked the manager of that company and he agreed to keep my car for one night at no cost (many thanks to Vista Parking).

For staying one night to have a place to sleep after a long flight, the hotel is recomendable.

Great place to stay for those who are making connecting flights. Very quiet with nice linens in the room etc. The only I found disconcerting was the huge portions in the restaurant.

Small, basic, and uncomfortable. While I was there I saw other customers arguing with the hotel manager about bed bugs in their room. It's close to the airport and they offer free shuttle service, but thats about it as far as plus points go. Use your money on some of the better hotels in the Newark airport (EWR) area. The bathroom was old and in need of repair - the shower nozzle was missing a screw and therefore could not be adjusted. The bathroom door knob fell completely apart in my hands, making me locked in the bathroom. Had I not been with someone else, I'd still be locked in there. When I reported it, the guy at the desk said, "Have a nice day." THAT is it! […] And then, my credit card was charged for parking - a charge I was not told would be added to my pre-paid bill. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in during my travels. There were 2 young children with me on this trip, and I am sure this hotel would not meet up to nationwide or statewide standards. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. There was dirt on the carpet that appeared as if it had not been vacuumed. And the carpet turned the […] kids socks black when walking around on it during the evenings. There was an electric socket that was hanging out of the wall. The in-room coffee pot poured the water all over the counter, and ended up sitting in a puddle of water. Which I am sure was an electrical hazzard. The shuttle bus that was to run from the Neward Airport every 30 minutes, ran over an hour on our return to the hotel one evening. Leaving us with 2 young children sitting in the airport for 1hour and 15 minutes, and 3 phone calls. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever encountered. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to ANYONE! no manager on duty. shuttle van driver was rude, and looked like a derilick. He drove off without picking people up and had a non careinhg additude

All I wanted was a clean, safe and inexpensive room near the airport for a morning flight. The HoJo's was perfect. There is a secured parking area ($15 per night) and even a small, simple restaurant with room service. For my purposes, it was perfect.

Stayed here overnight to catch a very early flight from Newark Airport. Usually stay at other hotels in the area that include up to 10 days of free parking in their rate(s). Did not need parking this time so I stayed at HJ. Other hotels' room and service accommodations are better quality than HJ. BAD SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR A FEW MORE DOLLARS UPGRADE

Smelling in the hallway and room, they DO charge parking fee. It is really hard to find the location, and it is in the end of toll road if you take 495.
