Mother's Day weekend getaway. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very quite. The hotel is non-smoking and no pets and this was reflected in the smell of the room. Great for those like me who have allergies. Plenty of on-site parking; a short walk to the beach. Would stay again during off-season. The only minus was the rooms need updating […] and the staff need to be more vigilant about the wet floors in the elevator when people use the pool. This was our second time staying here. The second time was by far the best visit. Our room was clean and spacious. Granted...the hotel could stand an update....but for the price...you can't beat. We will return. Very helpful staff too. The Sunday brunch was good also.

The room was clean, convenient location, could not hear any noise in hallway, roof top resturant and game room. The staff was friendly and courteous. No iron/ironing board in room. Stayed on 7th floor which is right under the restrurant(little noisey). With the large group we had there it served the purpose.

The rooms were nice, about what you would expect for the price. The pool was very nice, we really enjoyed the hot tub. The bar/restaurant was very nice, food and drinks were reasonably priced. The only major complaint was the shower in our room. There was NO water pressure for the entire weekend, showers were a nightmare. When I told the girl at the […] desk she said 'ok, thanks for letting us know' and went back to her paperwork. Never offered an apology or any type of discount. Pretty nice room. Slightly bigger than I was expecting. A little surprised that the bathroom didn't have a blow drier and that all of the plugs in the room were already occupied. The biggest beef I have with this place is that the air conditioner was a bit on the loud side, so if you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. One other thing was that […] in this day an age of cheap flat panel TVs they still had an old glass TV with very maladjusted color which was a bit annoying. I think for the price it was awesome! The hallway smelled bad, but the room was surprisingly clean. We didn't use the pool area, but it looked really nice, esp for the price. It has a heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi! The room has a microwave and decent size refrigerator. Everything was great the service was excellent. Close to the beach although they stated on Hotels.com that they are pet friendly they were not at the date we went but they graciously allowed me to bring my Dog anyway which was awesome. Very relaxing place to get away at a great price.

the only problems we found with our room was the fridge was very cold all of the drink we put in there froze and we were unable to chane the temp. the other problem was the outlets in the bathroom were very loose so when plugged in the hair dryer or curling iron it kept coming unplug if we moved.

This hotel is very large and clean. My room was perfect and housekeeping did a great job. The staff were very friendly and polite. Great hotel for kids and the pool area was so clean. I would stay at this hotel over and over. I was very impress with this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel because my daughter had a cheer competition & this is where the team chose to book. The furniture and the carpet in the lobby was filthy. The staff also didn't look well kept. The carpets in the hallways to our room.were also filthy. The curtains in the room looked like they had all coffee or blood stains on them,and not a few […] A LOT. The carpet in the room had stains on it also. The tv. was about 27 inches. The place didn't even smell.fresh ot just had a dingy odor to go along with its dingy appearance. My husband wouldn't even get underneath the sheets to sleep! He just payed across the side of the bed. After driving 5 hours to get there we really didn't feel like driving elsewhere so we stayed. But bottom line in this was not a hotel it was more of a dirty motel that charged hotel prices..Never again would I stay there. I'll sleep in my car first Lisez la suite

I wanted a place to stay with our dog and stay in one place for lodging, eating, swimming, indoor and pet friendly. The room smelled a bit which I understand due to previous pets. A dog was barking across the hall so I called the front desk to check the dog policy for barking and I was told that's normal but they will check into it. Because our dog […] would bark when we left her alone so I didn't leave her, the reason behind having everything in one as a hotel. No place to take the dog for potty purposes with exception of a nearby dental office lawn. Almost none of the pictures had been accurate, swimming pool didn't have a mushroom shaped waterfall in the center, which my son was disappointed. We found out that the restaurant or bar was not open due to remodeling after making the reservation. The beds had been around awhile springs were coming through, no hairdryer (all other hotels have them now), they ran out of towels for the rooms and only one bar of soap and no conditioner. Wow - anyhow perhaps I've been spoiled by other hotels in the same vicinity for the same price. Just goes to show you -you don't always get what you pay for............take what you like and leave the rest. Lisez la suite

The Fenwick Inn is an okay place for a 1 or 2 night stay, especially in the Winter. The resturant and bar were closed, WiFi in the room did not work, but did work fine in the lobby. The pool was open, but no one seemed to be using it. There were lots of vending machines and I heard a game room, but did'nt check it out. The only staff members we saw […] were the front desk staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was remakably clean for a hotel this old. The sheets even smelled good. The snow on the beach was fun to see. I loved that it was pet friendly and even thought we did not bring our dogs, we got to play with others. I was disappointed in the pool area. The water was not clear and did not feel that I could get into it because of that. That had been one of the reasons that we booked the hotel.

The room had peeling wallpaper and mold growing behind lthe wallpaper. Carpet has seen better days. Coffe was $2 served in a plastic 6 oz cut tripled as to not leak through. Not filled all the way and not served in insultaded cup.

I had a good stay. However, I visited after the storm Sandy, Some things are up and running and some are not. Fenwick Inn is comfortable except for the network service that is not efficient. No network access to the higher floors except for the first floor. The hotel clerk/receptionist attitude is very recalcitrant, rude, and shows an act of bias. Very clean room. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Good location. Very noisy parking lot all night on Saturday night due to DJ and club upstairs. I would recommend it to friends and family and would stay there again.

My wife and I stayed at Fenwick Inn the night before Hurricane Sandy. Your hotel is lovely. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The hot tub and pool were fantastic. Unfortunately we could not stay a little later the next morning because of the upcoming hurricane and roads had already flooded. We will definitely stay there again soon! The only peoblem […] we encountered and I am sure is not the hotels fault was that the water in the sink, toilet and bath tub were yellow and I am sure that is from the upcoming storm. Overall, a great place to stay if you don't mind certain minor things (such as the place feeling/looking like it hasn't been upgraded/refurbished in a while). The hot pool (and hose for sand) was nice coming in to after a chilly day on the beach, especially for my 4 boys (ages 2 months to 8 years). We came in mid-October. The hotel was comfortable and convenient. The service was good. The cleanliness needs some work. Bathroom mirror was dirty. The ceiling had dust hanging from it in several areas. The floor in the bathroom was clean, but looked dirty due to all the cracks. Needs updating. The rate was very good!
