"Not a hidden gem at the price......"
This is the typical mid 70's road side motel tucked in to a shopping district. The rooms are small with low ceilings, and the lack of a recent remodel or serious cleaning makes it very close to disgusting. The staff is nice and friendly, but overall this is only some place you will want to stay if all of the other local chains are booked (Marriott, […] Hilton, etc.). I stayed at this hotel just 3 days prior and the room was fabulous. This stay the room was not as clean and it was very hard to sleep as the small fridge kept clicking off and on and the room this time was so tiny the fridge was right there next to me! This room was on the 3rd floor my last room was on the 2nd. Overall for price hotel is good value. […] But decor and cleanliness was different from one stay to the next one room to the next. The hotel was cheap all the way around. The price was low yes! The breakfast was so-so. The TV came in very fuzzy and was very old. I think it was on its last legs. It still had the old Nintendo 64. Stayed just one night and moved to The Phoenix for the next three nights. Rate was exactly the same but the quality was incomparable! Tiny ill maintained, hot room with peeling wall paper and horrible bed vs. King bed with office/ living room area and great AC at The Phoenix. The front office help needs more help. she was doing her best but the computer was messed up, the hotel overbooked and guests were getting irritated with her for things that were not her fault. The router went out while I was waiting, ice machines were broken so you could only get ice by asking her to get it out of the back.
