The folks were very friendly. They only issue I had was one with them leaving my car running and not telling me it was in the lot waiting. They have a valet park service since there is little room for cars right at the hotel. I called for my car. They said 10 min. I came down, didn't see my car out front. Waited another 5 min. Asked someone, who said […] my car was out there. When I got into my car, it was running! I have a push button Prius so they must have not turned it off. Good thing it doesn't use a lot of gas! I wanted to spend the holidays at the beach and was looking for a hotel that was pet friendly. At this time of the year, there were only three options available. So after visiting all three properties, I decided on this one. The room was beautiful and comfortable. But the absolute best part was the view from the room -- it was amazing -- with floor […] to ceiling windows in both the living room and the bedroom. Plus it had a private balcony that I truly enjoyed! I was on the 6th floor and had a wonderful view of the boardwalk and the holiday lights below. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. overall the hotel was ok it wasnt the best but it could have been worse... I do not think it was worth the money even in off season.... most likely we will not be staying at this hotel again... the main part of the hotel was nice but the pool and hotub area was lacking, the towels at the pool were too small for functionality purposes, the appliances […] in our room were sooo scuffed scratched and dented in, the complementary lotions and shampoos were half used when we arrived, the silverware was dirty, and there wasnt not enough dishes in the rooms, plus even though a dishwasher is provided there is no baskets to put the silverware in it and you will need to bring your own dish soap and wash by hand Lisez la suite

this was our first time here, Can't say enough good stuff about the hotel. the staff was excellent and whenever we ran into them they always spoke and asked if our stay was doing ok. Lillian at the front desk was who we saw the most and always had something pleasant to say. the Breakfast was a good, and the hotel was conventienty located.

We stayed at this Residence Inn after an awesome experience we had at another hotel in this chain the night before on our way home from Florida. We were not dissapointed! The staff were very accomadating, informative and friendly. We could not have asked for anything better. This was a pet friendly hotel and we felt very welcome. I can't say enough good things about our experience, from the great indoor pool, the exercise room which I utilized and the laundry facilities so we didn't have to pack dirty clothes on the way home. Poor room design for a family of 5. Bedroom with 2 queens has no separation from vanity / sink which makes getting ready in am difficult and disruptive to sleeping family. No privacy.

Some minor complaints: I reserved a suite with 2 double beds and a pull out sofa but when we checked in we were given 1 king size bed and a pull out sofa bed. This was a fantastic stay. Suite was very comfortable overlooking ocean, very clean. The hotel staff was awesome. Breakfast buffet and evening buffets were very nice. A great place to bring dogs. I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Residence for 6 nights between Chrismas and New Years. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast offerings were extensive, and good quality. The evening manager's receptions were quite basic, but the kids loved it and we were able to save money, not eating out those nights. It was great […] to have the kitchen (range but no oven), especially with a wonderful Harris Teeter supermarket within walking distance. Our only complaint was with the wi-fi. The quality in the room never rose above poor. It was so slow we were unable to watch the instant digit movie I rented from Amazon, and it took 3 days for my son to download a game. The only concern was the refrigerator did not seen to get as cold as I would have liked, but our food did not go bad. I will keep this name on my radar as a good place to lay my head while traveling.

nice family hotel on beach. nothing fancy here. but spacious room and very convenient. reasonably clean, friendly staff, allows dogs, and free continental breakfast, plus indoor pool make it worth the price. just remember it's not four stars and you'll be satisfied with all those amenities.

We arrived on sunday and the check in, took 2mn. The rooms were true to advertising, very clean and perfect ocean view. Never had a problem with the service that was quick, efficient. The breakfast was included and we had a barbecue on wednesday night that was a nice surprise. Being near the beach and dogs allowed you could expect some sand or pet hair […] but the hotel was always neat as a pin with the constant but non obtrusive cleaning. The parking is small and they have valet parking or you could drive your car on the second parking yourself and that is the only little inconvenience we have found. Plenty to do around with life music on the boardwalk (the hotel is close but quiet), the beach, aquarium, hiking trails, boat rides, fishing, parasailing.....great place! Lisez la suite

We stayed at the MRI at 3217 Atlantic from Sat. 7/9 thru Friday 7/15. Room was beautiful - large, recently renovated, beautiful view of the ocean (and the fireworks) from our 11th floor suite. Chambermaid service was a little less than diligent, but one comment to the supervisor and that was fixed right away. Staff if very friendly and anxious to help. […] Free breakfast is slammin' with lots of hot choices - way more than your typical continental breakfast and that adds to your dollar value greatly but its hard to find a table in the small dining area. Hotel is near some great restaurants - easy access to the boardwalk and "The Wave" shuttle which will take you all the way down to the Aquarium and back along the boardwalk for a $2 all day pass. Plus you're only two blocks from the bandshell by 31 Ocean, which has all kinds of shows and concerts going on (we saw the Virgnina Philharmonic and the Gin Blossoms, amongst others). I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. My only other criticism is that there is little or no parking i/f/o the hotel - but their lot is a short two block walk and there is valet parking service if you want to use it. Lisez la suite

One, the parking is not good. Very small parking lot in front of hotel, and once that filled up, you had to park in a designated parking lot 3 blocks down. I don't know about most people, but I'm on vacation and I like to sleep in a little bit. I'm usually just getting up at 9, especially if you're out the night before. So needless to say, we got to the breakfast only once and that was a shame because it was amazing!!! They had everything under the sun that you could think of to have for breakfast from cold cereals, toast, muffins....to hot eggs, hash, french toast.....it was great!!!
