"Wont stay again"
The staff was polite and friendly but the motel was very dirty and falling apart. Wallpaper was disgusting and pealing off the wall and other things were damaged. I was going to stay there agian a week later when we came through but could not stand to stay there again so for $5 more we stayed at another hotel and it was so much better. "Baymont Inn in decline."
I have used this specific hotel since it first opened. Unfortunately, it's condition is in decline. Carpets are worn and dirty; security locks on side doors are not working, and geneeral appearance of hallways is bad. Staff was friendly and did a good job. "Great time"
My wife and I are living in separate states right now, not by choice, and any time we can spend together is wonderful. Since Paducah is almost half way between us, it is the best place to meet. They Baymont was a wonderful hotel, the suite was extremely confortable, it had the room we needed and the ammenities were satisfactory. Next time I should bring […] my portable DVD player if we want to watch a movie. The Ice machine on the second floor was out of order, but the room location made it easy to pop up one floor and get what we needed. "Baymont/paducah"

Entranceway was nice. So was the woman at the front desk. But room was a different matter. Hallway had odor of sweet-smelling disiinfectant. Reminded you of the kind used to cover up cigarette smoke. Inside the room looked very worn: the sofa was soiled, the vanity in the bathroom was damaged, the carpeting was worn and stained. My wife absolutely refused […] to stay there. I was attracted to the Baymont by the online description and pictures and the special price. But I was very disappointed and we left despite the non-refundable pre-paid charge. The manager was very kind to later refund our payment and we appreciate that. We did find other accomodations in the area. The hotel was not maintained well at all. The carpet in the hallways and in the room was dirty and wrinkled. I walked around in flip-flops because didn't want my feet to touch the carpet.The couch in the room had stains all over it which put us off sitting on it. The veneer on the side of the bathroom countertop was totally peeled off and one of the […] electrical plug-ins was coming out of the wall, didn't work. One of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. From the other reviews, I wasn't expecting a whole lot. I was pleasantly surpristed upon arrival. The check-in lady was very pleasant and helpful and even gave us a map ot the city. The room was nice, clean, and stocked. The breakfast was nice. We had eggs, sausage, bacon, and biscuits, The also had coffee (available 24 hrs), milk, juice, and muffins. "Friendly service, but old and dirty"
We were a family stopping in on our way to Tennessee. It has no pool which stinks for kids. The room was dated and dirty; it felt gross in there, honestly. Very kind and helpful people working there and the free breakfast was outstanding. Oh, and it was very quiet.Avis véridique Expedia

"Get what you pay for!"
The rate was great but we should have known that the hotel itself was not that clean or great. The rooms look like they were very worn. Big marks and scratches on the walls, wallpaper torn. Sheets not that clean. The mattress pad had two big holes in it. A little chain hook on the door inside for extra protection?? The furniture was very worn. Location was satisfactory. Staff tried. Room was shabby but appeared clean. A/C in hallways did not work, and it was HOT. Room was hot but cooled in the hour I was gone after checking in. The hotel was clean but nothing spectacular. We stayed here a year ago and they don't seem to be investing a lot in the maintenance of the rooms, well in the one we stayed in at least. Check-in process a breeze, and overnight desk staff very friendly. Room very clean with hotel showing a few signs of age. "Nice and not on main drag"
The hotel location was great. It was right at the exit and could easily get to anything. One of the few hotels not on the main strip with all the traffic. There were a couple of cut through roads that would take you to everything in less than 5 minutes. Could easily get to downtown, also. The bed was very comfortable. Only two things that were not up […] to par. First, we found ants in the corner and on the desk. The front desk tried to move us but said there was not a room available They quickly came up to spray and clean the corner and the ants were gone with no cleaner smell. It was most likely because we were next to the stairway and an outside door. Second, the TV was old and after a while started a high pitch whine. One swift hit on the top solved that problem. The continental breakfast was more than I expected. It had the standards plus eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Overall the location made up for the two minor problems. "Nice hotel for the money"
This is my second stay at this hotel. Once in the winter and now once in the summer. They have a nice breakfast and a comfortable room. I travel alone with two children. I was a little disappointed that the outside doors were never locked. I try to find hotels with inside corridor entrances for safety, and the doors were supposed to need your room key […] to reenter but they never locked back. I was also disappointed to realize that there was only air conditioning inside the rooms. The room was cool enough but unloading and reloading the car was very uncomfortable in the humidity.
