It's a bait and switch! The photos make the hotel seem stylish and contemporary, when it's really old, outdated, tired, and sub-standard. Stay at the Marriot, Hyatt, Riu, or the Occidental, but not here.

We really enjoyed our stay and we really like staying at the Westin. We like the hotel, the room and the view from our room. The beach is very nice and the location is good for walking to other restaurants and activities,

Our 1st trip to Aruba. We love the Westin and the staff. They were very accommodating and friendly. Will be back soon.

We stayed here only two nights. In town for a family wedding. If you stay here, be sure to seek out Frank the Bellman. One of the happiest, nicest, funniest person we've ever met, and someone who obviously loves his job and loves his customers. He really made our stay so much nicer.

Everything about the Westin Resort was excellent. The staff helped us when my wife needed a needle & thread. When the room key wasn't working, they sent security imediately to help. We got a hut on the beach free of charges. We even made money in the casino. i recommend this hotel to all my friends.

The hotel was beautiful and clean but what would make us go back without hesitation was the staff. They were genuinly friendly and outgoing. They made you feel welcome and remembered your name like you were good friends. Clara, Marco, Hendor, Jerry and all the others made our stay unforgettable. We will definately go back next year!!

Hotel must have had a recent face lift, but the rooms weren't done.... Air conditioning didn't work. Room was always damp and smelt like mildew. Stayed in better hotels..... Never again.

The Westin was awesome. They have cages of different exotic birds that can talk and they greet you as you walk to the beach. That was unique. The Blossoms restaurant was good. It's a Habachi place. There were 3 other restaurants that we didn't get to try, but they looked good. There were always beach chairs and towels available for us at all times and […] they service was great. The upgraded us to a Premium Ocean View for free. It's located close to alot of restaurants and shops and the ocean view was amazing. I definitely recommend. Lisez la suite

Great view and location.

Just returned from being home in New York; living in Aruba for medical school. Decided to take a vacation from my vacation and chose Westin. Absolutely loved it. Great place to relax, and I live here!

We made the mistake of trying the Aruba Surf Club Marriott and we were very disappoited after only 2 days. We moved to the Westin with a great rate fromm Hotels.com and enjoyed every minute of it! 1st class place, well kept, but most of all the staff was excellent. Front desk staff excellent, restaurant staff-excellent, everyone was great except the […] pool bar staff. We really enjoyed our stay and felt relaxed and appreciated at the Westin Aruba Resort. Staffs are friendly at lobby, however, Maid who clean the room were very disruptive. Many times we tell them to come back at a different time, say not 10 am, they say they will come next day. So we ended NOT having our room cleaned, no fresh towels or ran out of coffee. Second major complain is the elevator, they got 4 elevator for the entire resort […] and we are constnatly waiting, my gf and I feel like we spend more time waiting for elevator than enjoying the resort. We just came back from 8 days at the Westin in Aruba. The hotel is lovely and rooms are vert well kept. This is a typical Westin, so I would say a solid 4 stars. The pool area is lovely and the staff is friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The resturants in the hotel are good. Especially Blossoms and Pago Pago. The beach area is smaller then other […] hotels but very nice. The Westin is at the end of the strip, so you need to walk for five minutes before you get to any restaurants but we didn't mind that at all. We would go back, we had a wonderful trip. The Westin is a nice hotel. The service was pretty good and the rooms were clean. I most enjoyed the beach and happy hours were fun too. The two areas I see for improvement are activities for children and food. While the Westin offers a Kids Club, the activities are not that great and as a result they rarely had more than 1-2 kids participating in any […] given activity during my visit. One day we wanted to drop our six yr old off there for a few hours and she was the only kid so we decided against doing so. A general comment in regards to the food - it is very expensive in the hotel and surrounding restaurants, and it is NOT good! I was actually glad to get back to NJ to get some good food! The Westin has a great waterfront and is right on the beach. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel itself seems mostly updated with some parts in need of a makeover. The surrounding area is very nice with a mini shopping plaza only a 5 minute walk. The only element i was dissatisfied with […] was the food and beverage. For people not on the all inclusive package its quite expensive to eat and drink at the hotel. The service and food were great. The only complain for our stay was the hotel's structure. The hotel needs to update its hotel lobby and bathrooms.

Service was amazing. Very helpful in making reservation. Housekeeping was friendly~ rooms were immaculate. Not crowded. Relaxing. great location.

From the minute of we saw the arial view of Aruba we thought it was overrated for the prices in general...the westin building exterior simple, understared, a bit outdated..Walking into the contemporary, and chic lobby kept my Westin expectation at par until we reached our room...where most of the updating needs to be done. Typical expected westin decor […] in a wall to wall carpeted damp room had a mild reminder that mold is lingering, bathroom fixture slight rust, balcony poorly maintained with rusted patio set and paint chipped railing and floor. The hallways lit with flourescent lighting highlighting the poorly painted walls and room doors were not so impressive nor cohesive to the lobby's ambiance..Spa/gym facility were just ok, while the pool area non impressive..no outdoor jacuzzi or cabanas, kid friendly, poor live entertainment, and pool/beach waiting staff slow but pleasant all the time and eagerly accomodating, perhaps a bit overwhelmed...beach was probably the best stretch of sand along palm beach...even the adjacent "ritzier" hotels seemed more crammed and shorter...perhaps its because their outdoor facilities were larger?? the restauraunt "Pago Pago" may be their bragging point...food recommendation/staff superb (and we're pretty big "foodies") otherwise the rest in hotel cafes and eateries overrated and overpriced...take a walk on the strip and eat out!!!!! Perhaps we "may" return to Aruba but not this particular westin...maybe more research on nicer 3 stars or better deals on 5 stars but 4 stars THIS WAS NOT.. Lisez la suite

Har aldri sovet i så gode senger. Profesjonell service fra A til Å. God strand. Stor miks av type folk som bor på hotellet, vi synes det var positivt. Ikke stivt, mye amerikanere genrellt på Palm beach/Aruba. Helgen var hotellet veldig fullt, litt travel frokost. Men flott frokost buffet. Ikke av de luksuriøse hotellene på palm beach, men prisen på […] de er jo mye høyere (feks radisson, som jeg ville foretrukket i høyere prisklasse) . Drar gjerne tilbake. Lisez la suite

Estive no Westin com toda minha familia que é bem grande(18 pessoas sendo 8 crianças).Foram as melhores ferias em familia.Todos muito educados ,agradaveis e praia e piscina maravilhosas,café da manhã ótimo.O hotel é formidavel,lanches na praia deliciosos,restaurante japones muito bom.Eu indico o Westin para suas férias.Obrigada

Hotel comodo con buenas instalaciones y atencion pero con un defecto q se llama.. asensores..hasta 15 minutos de cola para subir a la habitacion parece demaciado,

Apesar de nao ter sido tarifado, achei um absurdo o hotel cobrar pelo uso do frigobar. Cada vez que abrir o frigobar fui tarifado em 4,22 dolares, no check- out conversei com o atendente recepcao e conseguir excluir da minha conta final. Afinal de contas no meu checkin nao fui informado sobre esse detalhe.

El Hotel estuvo de lo mejor, una maravilla. Y la ubicación, insuperable. Fue una experiencia inolvidable para mi y para mi familia.

Todo lo positivo de las instalaciones del hotel, fue alterado por haber hecho el hotel, su parte administrativa, un bloqueo de USD 770 dólares durante las primera horas de nuestro check-in. No fuimos avisados de tal cosa. Dijeron que lo hicieron por las dudas que hiciéramos consumos. A pesar de nuestras protestas no los levantaron hasta que nos fuimos. […] Tengo la imagen del bloqueo de mi página de Visa, si requieren que se lo demuestre. También escaneada la factura. Fue una actitud injusta, molesta, injustificable. Teníamos pagado el hotel y el paquete de desayuno buffet. No pensamos volver a ningún Westin. Lisez la suite

Buena ubicacion , buena playa, excelente instalaciones. Le falta diverssión en las areas comunes y cobran por muchos servicios que deberían estar incluidos : nevera x noche, mesa de pool, kids club etc.
