Clarion Inn & Suites - Knoxville

We only stayed one night, but slept well. BIG PLUS for this hotel, check out is 12 noon. The only thing I have noticed is that the free breakfast in hotels does not have what it used to have. Also, some hotels leave a little fruit out for guests, esp those who check in late. I noticed that it is not just this hotel, but several. Everything was nice, except the room's window curtains could not be closed completely to darken it from morning's glorious sunlight which eventually disrupted our sleep. They should replace it with the ones that close!

Definitely not worth the money. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke the 1st night. Second night I had to actually go down to the front desk to get towels! Breakfast was ok. Was under construction while staying there & that would have been a good thing to know before booking the room. The room had water damage stain on ceiling. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Comfortable and clean. Service could have been a little better/more pleasant, but not bad. For some reason, they were not aware of a special request I had made through Hotels.com, but they honored the pre-paid request once I told them about it.

The hotel is being renovated. It's a new purchase for Clarion so it will take a while to get the hotel up to date. The rooms were dated but very nice. I would stay here again!

This was a Baymount Inn and Suites when I booked the room. It changed over two week prior to our stay. Someone should have notified me and I could have made the choose to keep the reservation or change. NOT HAPPY!!!!

We loved it! it was our overnight stop going down to Florida, and we enjoyed it so much that we booked it coming back as well. The cleanliness and comfort was out of this world. A great quiet, restful night. Great location, good breakfast! Won't disappoint.

We stopped at this hotel on the way down to Florida this year AND the way back, as we enjoyed it so much. Stayed twice going and coming home from a trip. Both times there were items under the bed at the edge (once a pill, the other a handwritten note, so made me wonder if the sweeper ever goes beyond the traffic areas. However, overall the room seemed clean enough, and probably cleaner than the way I left my house. I was moving from New York to Florida, and driving down in a uhaul with a car trailer. Which they didn't mind that I parked in the back. Basically, I was completely exhausted after driving 16 hours. Property clean and well kept. Rooms comfortable, nothing fancy, but it was only for one night. Walking distance to several businesses and very close to good shopping. Morning breakfast was good (loved the coffed). My son missed a flat screen TV, but the one we had worked fine. Booked three rooms for a family graduation gathering. Very pleased with spacious rooms, refrigerators and microwaves. Rooms were quiet and beds were very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful with answering questions about directions to local stores, places to eat, etc. The trip into Knoxville took about half an hour on the interstate. Very, very good. This hotel was nothing fancy, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious. It's a little far from downtown Knoxville, but if the rooms downtown are all booked for a big football game, this is a very good choice if you don't mind the drive to get into town.

Nice hotel. The staff was really great about putting us in a different room after it was evident that the first one we got had previously had someone smoking in it (in spite of being a non-smoking room). She was also very helpful directing us to restaurants in the area. The only thing that was sort of annoying was the fan in the bathroom that stayed […] on all the time - the bearings were shot in it and so it rattled. I could not complain about anything, very clean, no odors, non smoking, we got exactly as booked. If one small thing, the TV seemed small, probably a 27". Cracker Barrel & a sports bar both within walking distance.

I was surprised at how nice the hotel was for the cost. We were expecting cut rate room quality but it was actually very nice. Have stayed in much higher priced accomodations that weren't as nice. The beds were extreemly comfortable (in fact I checked to see what brand they were for future reference) and the staff were very helpful. Staff was extremely helpful. There are a lot of restaurants within a couple of miles. We went to the movies right down the street. Great sports bar across the street. The hotel itself was quite and comfortable. No complaints. They must have invested a significant amount of money in improvements recently as it was nicer than expected.
