L'hôtel est très bien situé. Il ne faut pas louper de prendre un verre dans le bar au dernier étage pour admirer la vue sur tout Vancouver. Nous étions au 28e étage et la chambre était bien. Seule la salle de bain mériterait un coup de neuf en terme d'installation.

Le Dockside Restaurant sert des plats de cuisine locale, en terrasse. Dans ce restaurant avec vue sur l'océan, très prisé par les gens du coin et les touristes, vous pouvez déguster du saumon grillé à l'aune et du Steak Angus de premier choix, mais aussi de la vraie pizza italienne faite au feu de bois. Ouvert tous les jours au petit-déjeuner, déjeuner, et dîner, il dispose d'un grand aquarium et de grandes fenêtres. Si le temps le permet, les clients peuvent dîner dans le patio qui possède 208 places, mais aussi des lampes chauffantes, et qui offre une vue imprenable sur la ville et le port.
Le Dockside Pub vous accueille dans sa salle avec cheminée et meubles confortables en cuir et bois d'acajou, qui créent une atmosphère intime et informelle. La cuisine du Dockside Pub est ouverte tous les jours, midi et soir. 9 variétés de bières produites dans la brasserie privée de l'établissement y sont proposées également. Notre conseil? Chili aux calamars !

"Résumé de mon séjour"
Chambre un peu petite mais confortable sauf pour le chauffage qui est bloqué à 18 degrés C. Emplacement très plaisant sur bord de l'eau, vue imprenable sur Vancouver. "Lovely hotel in a unique location"
We visited with our 4 year old and found this to be a great location away from the busy downtown hotels. Our room overlooked the harbor and the kids market, public market, and restaurants are a short, pleasant walk away; the art studios and theaters of the Railspur district are next door and fun to browse. "Nice, clean & quiet"
It was nice, clean and quiet. The bed was comfy and the snack bar was pleasantly supplied at reasonable prices! The room was not what I had requested. When I questioned the front desk they couldn't tell me why the request wasn't honored other than that the rooms were allocated in the morning and this was how it was done. They acknowledged that the request […] was there tho and gave us vouchers for breakfast as way of apologizing. "dirty sheets"
Staff were friendly, lobby was nice, rooms seemed adequate, until we got up in the morning. After a nights sleep of messing up the blankets i was disgusted to see the bottom half of the fitted sheet was covered in lint and little black hairs( neither of us have black hair)Avis véridique Hotels.com

"My funny valentine....."
Our 1st time was 20 years ago! This was our 2nd. Great place for a romantic rendezvous. Interior has been updated and is very nice, luxurious feeling. Location is superb for romantic strolls on the island and around false creek. Very central for visiting vancouver. "Beautiful Birthday Weekend Getaway"
Met my son in Vancouver to celebrate his 19th Birthday and it could have not be more lovely staying at the Granville Island Hotel! Our room was clean and comfortable overlooking the water and boats. "A great place to stay..."
Great hotel! We arrived an hour before their preferred check in time of 2:00pm, our room wasn't quite ready yet (which we understood) so we killed some time and came back at 2:00. Our room still wasn't ready, which wasn't a big deal as we are pretty easy going people and were more than happy to wait but instead of having us wait they upgraded us to […] a room with a balcony. "Bring your earplugs! Some noise but sweet hotel."
We were pleasantly surprised by the state of the hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, the hotel and rooms very clean and modern. You can't beat the view from our room - Science World, water and boats. Our only complaint was the noise on the 2nd floor. We must have been below a housekeeping room and a few doors down from another supply/staff […] room as the noise started fairly early in the morning and continued until check out. Great room with a lot of character and fun location to walk around the market. Shower big enough for two people was especially nice for us! Very nice hotel, lovely lobby, small but comfortable room, nice king sized bed, clean but paint was chipping off door to bathroom. "Poor service"
The title says it all. I did not feel like a valued and welcome guest. It does not help when the only thing I had arranged (ice and champagne glasses) to be in my room at a specific time was over an hour late and did not come until I had to call again. No reasons given! "A little oasis in a big city"
This a great spot for people who want to take advantage of the recreation spots of Vancouver. You are centrally located right on the cycling and walking paths that go west along the beaches to UBC and the paths that lead through to Science World, down town, the sea wall and Stanley Park. Being on Granville Island gives you lots of choices for restaurants, […] coffee shops, local art shops, galleries and theaters. Granville Island is great for kids too with a water park, green space and beaches close by, not to mention a large kids focused shopping area. We were pleasantly surprised at how modern and updated the hotel was and enjoyed a fantastic meal at their Dockside restaurant with spectacular city and water views. Access to down town is minutes away by car but the harbor ferry is at your door step if you want to enjoy the short boat ride and walk into downtown. We will definitely stay here again. We just got married and due to our busy schedules in nursing and management we didn't have time for a long honeymoon so we did a one night stay at the Grandville Island Hotel. Great say and wonderful shops - very arts so the prices are a bit high but the hand worked stuff from silk weaving to carvings are exceptional. the Public market food was exceptional. The staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. My wife is diabetic and became hypoglycemic and they kindly brought her a glass of orange juice and a bowl of cut up fresh fruit.. They provided this at no charge. My wife recovered and was able to dance with her son at his wedding later that evening. Our family is very appreciative of their response […] and generousity.
