Hotel Alif Avenidas - Lisbonne

Chambre petite, loby innaccueillant, personnel indifférent, petit déj banal. Cet hôtel est le moins bon 4 hôtel dans lequel je suis resté (sur plus d'une dixaine). Vaut un 3*. Je ne comprend vraiment pas la note actuelle de cet hôtel sur hotels.com

Assez bien situé. Chambres design. Service de chambres impeccable. Calme. Seule réserve : salle de bain petite. Peu de distance entre la cuvette WC et le mini lavabo d'angle rond.

Hôtel impeccable du point de vue service (personnel très aimable), propreté et confort. Petits plus comme la consigne de bagages gratuite. I found this hotel an excepyionally good one in Lisbon. It has been entirely renovated, and has a fantastic location, right opposite a subway station and near Avenida da Republica, one of the main arteries of Lisbon. Hotel a quelques pas d'un grand centre commercial et du parc Edouard VII. Metro littéralement au pied de l'hôtel et à 10 min du centre ville de Lisbonne. Les chambres sont spacieuses et l'hôtel très beau.

We were two 20 year old girls who went to Lisboa for a weekend. The stay at Alif Avenidas was problem free. The room was neat and looked good, the bathroom was beautiful. We had no issues, though we didn't spend much time in the hotel, we didn't even try the breakfast. The hotel is close to a big supermarket with great opening hours where you definitely […] can get everything you need. It's also right next to a metro stop, or else walking to the city centre is around 40 minutes. Very good value. Handy to the Gubenkain Museum (great), the open-top bus and a bus station and El Corte Ingles and Zara (great). The staff were great andprobably the best breakfasts I have ever seen in an European Hotel. I will never forget the freshly picked strawberries!

This small but friendly hotel is a great value and in a good location. It is not in the heart of town, but has several Metro entrance steps from the door. There is good shopping within a few blocks and it is very pleasant walk from the hotel into the center of Lisbon and the waterfront.

A very nice hotel in Lisbon, 2-3km from the center. It's about a 30mn walk to the center along a beautiful avenue. The area is agreable and we enjoyed the walk each time. if not, there is a metro stop just in front the hotel, very practical to get back in the evening. The only minus would be that there is a rather poor noise/sound isolation. We could here the TV of the neighbourgs (they might have watched it loud ) and also from the clients above our room. We personally thought, there is no need to have a "portier" although that might be part of the culture/ hotel philosophy in Portugal. One should also be aware of the construction site just in front of it which meaning that there is noise starting in the morning and during the day. Not during the weekend though. The hotel was very modern and clean. The breakfast was great, lots of fresh fruit and pastries. The location wa perfect, it's sanwiched between 3 of the metro lines and there are some nice places to eat nearby.

A good no-nonsence hotel with a perfect location - the metro is litterally just outside the frontdoor. Very nice and helpfull staff, modern rooms and quite reasonably freakfast. As many places in Europe, wireless internet is still at a price - 10 euro/day. But it works and it fast.. Wouldn't hesitaty to go back

Great little hotel. The walls are a little thin, but all else is great. Location is extremely handy to the metro, so no need for taxis or a rental car. Friendly and helpful staff. A bargain.

internet was terrible, had to pay for it even though i had a room, only stayed for 3 hours because my time was limited and the hotel wouldnt help out with a type of half day deal, my card was already charged. i would not recommend this hotel. only thing good about the hotel was how the lobby looked and i bet i can find better.

Staff was very friendly, hotel was impeccably cleaned, and had a few nice touches of comfort I didn't expect for the price. Only small downside is that the wifi is not free in the rooms, though it is reasonably priced. Neighborhood is nice. My last minute booking turned out to be a very positive experience. The double room was great and quiet, the bathroom very nice (looked recently renovated). The staff was helpful. The location is fine as long as you are ready to travel to other areas for some nightlife. The connections are good though.

Though the hotel was not walking distance to any sites the metro is directly outside the door, the tickets are cheap and the pt rusn until failry late in Lisbon. Internet is overpriced but the rest of the room was very nice, comfortable and convenient.

I highly reccomend this hotel. The rooms, service, food, cleanliness and location were outstanding. This is a must stay place when visiting Lisbon. Great Job!

Modern hotel in good area, very close to Metro and huge El Corte Ingles department store and supermarket. Some good restaurants nearby serving traditional Portuguese food - very good value and much nicer than eating in tourist restaurants in the centre of the city. 3 blocks from Avda Republica and 2 blocks from the very upscale Corte Ingles shopping center. 2 blocks from the Gulbackian Museo (a dissapointment but free on Sunday till 2), 4 metro stops to the old city. For a four Star Hotel the staff should have been able to recommend good restaurants in the area or offer to book one for you. Also an Iron should have been available to guests if required, these two points made me question the Hotels quality of service.

This hotel was very clean, and the rooms were quite nice. It's a very short walk to the Red or Blue Line of the Lisbon Metro system. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and well-lit. It's a short taxi ride from the airport. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very clean new hotel.The airport bus stops at end of street (Saldahna stop) which made it very easy to get to. It is a 20 minute walk to centre of lisbon but there is a metro stop on the street if you dont want to walk. Beside El Corte Ingles shopping centre which was very convenient. Hotel was directly across from metro station which was handy for sightseeing weekend in Lisboa,Manager at reception helpful but not too friendly.Futuristic Room had amazing comfortable king size bed.Would stay here again

Only stayed for one night, but room was very impressive.

First time in Lisboa and first in that hotel , Friendly employees , the hotel smelled so good all the time even the elevator . Accross from the metro station , makes it very convenient . the area is safe even at 2 am . we had a great time , we recommend .

Very quiet and comfortable and close to 2 metro stations and a main road leading in and out of Lisbon. It is not as central as some other locations, but as long as the price is more reasonable then it is worth staying.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is friendly, efficient, and speaks excellent English. The rooms are of good size, modern, and comfortable. The hotel is excellently located near the Gulbenkian Museum and directly across from the Sao Sebastiao Metro Station, which is the intersection point for two of Lisbon's four subway lines (the red and the […] blue). This hotel is close to metro however it's not in downtown. I have a non-smoking room but the room has the smell.

This was a brilliant choice for a long weekend in Lisbon. Stylish and modern; spotless; excellently comfortable--we couldn't fault it. The rooms were nice, comfortable, quiet and clean. There is an entrance to the subway about 200 feet from the front door of the hotel which is very convenient. The only thing I disliked was that the wireless internet is about $5 per hour. Most of the other hotels I stayed at during my trip to Portugal had free wireless internet. Though this hotel was not in the center, I almost preferred being a bit outside of the busy city center. It was right in front of, literally, the San Sebastao metro stop that in 5 minutes takes you to the center. The hotel, brand new, nice staff, and clean. Definitely recommend it!
