"ritz milner room=dressing"
we have a so small room that my husband cannot get up -the bed was on the walll- and we hurt an each place because so small..no place for our bags-we travel overseas-.it was a room for SINGLE.....not for TWO people....
"great value"
It's definitely not a fancy place, but I found it very clean and a great location for a very reasonable price. I'd stay again.
"In the middle of downtown"

I was very happy satisfied with my stayed at the hotel. I recommend.
I may look elsewhere next time if my concerns about airhandling are not addressed. Continental Bkfast was a plus, but problems are these: 1) Hotel needs to have airhandling systems that filter the outside air MUCH better, 2) room was way too small to allow me ot spread my belongings.
"Great service and breakfast in downtown location"
I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. I found the staff very accommodating and genuinely nice. The breakfast included in the price was a really good value including healthy options and fresh fruit.
great location garbage suite
Perfect location if your heading to Staples to catch a game.

"Decent room for the price"
Pros: Great location (staples center, consulate, metro station are walking distance, Good continental breakfast Cons: Towels were missing, saw roaches in bathroom, Comments: Hotel is definitely a little rundown and rooms were small. I just wanted a clean and safe room for the price I paid.. didn't care about if the taps were gilded or not. The pros […] and cons are based on what I paid for the room. Lisez la suite
"Clean, Convenient & Affordable"
Very large suite room at reasonable price; comfortable and clean. My room was very quiet (and dark) off street. Concierge helpful in ordering up a town car for the airport within 15 minutes. Easy 5 to 7 minute walk to my conference at LA Live. Sandwich shop on the corner and range of restaurant options nearby. Hideaway bar in hotel.
"Ritz Milner"
This is a very old hotel. No frills but clean. Excellent location in Downtown very convenient to restaurants and eateries of all kinds.
Great location room was very small and beds were very uncomfortable but the convenience of hotel was great
"No towels and hair in my bed but other than that.."
The place is cheap and it is near the Staples Center. Macy's is across the street there is an IHOP and Subway on the corner. A good greasy pizza joint is there too... but the hotel itself was gross. I had no towels in my room and had to ask for them. There was also hair in my bed.

"Ritz Milner close to LA Live"
Neighborhood in transition, with brand new high rises (both office and condo) next to old decrepit buildings, but definitely on the rise. Still some homeless people hanging around. Hotel old but very clean, and some of the rooms have been refurbished with granite, etc. My room (single) tiny, and bathroom even tinier, and I'll have to go on a severe […] diet before returning to that shower. However, rate was excellent, and for one night, all was good. Lisez la suite

"Close to Convention Center"
This hotel was in a great location. The finishes were outdated, but it was clean and the staff was very helpful. My business partner had another room that had the worlds smallest shower. Ours was good in our room. (standard tub shower with tile) The continental breakfast was also an added bonus.
"Nice but a few things wrong"
The room was very nice and clean. The bed was awesome better then mine at home. The toilet was clogged up but all in all it was a place I would definitely stay in if I had something to do in that neighborhood.
"See the Kings!"
Hotel is walking distance to Staples Centre so it was the perfect location for us. The rooms were small but clean, obviously it is an older sister of the Ritz Carleton but if you want a night downtown its great!

"Close to the Convention Center"
We reserved this hotel because of its low rate and proximity to the Los Angeles Convention Center. For the price when compared to surrounding hotels, it's a good deal. The room was not luxurious, but clean. We think this is a good deal if you are seeking a tourist class hotel in downtown LA. The only problem was the location of our room--adjacent to […] the street, so there was a lot of street noise from vehicular traffic early in the mornings. Lisez la suite
"Is it a hotel?"
The room is so small that I could hardly find place to put my luggage bags. Coffeemaker did not work, air conditioner made deafening sound, you have to wash your face beside the bed, I have never met this situation.
Rooms are very small and old, the tv did not work and was old fashioned.
"Ritz Milner Hotel, Downtown LA"
Great location, next to Macy's Plaza on 7th. Rooms were cramped and the elevator needed modernising. Breakfast was poor who wants to eat off paper plates with plastic cutlery first thing in the morning? Breakfast staff unhelpful but receptionists were informative. Tv was old and signal was very bad. Reception looked nice and clean and WIFI was good […] . Lisez la suite
"Central downtown location"
I admittedly had hesitations but hotel proved clean, comfortable and, in the end, perfectly fine for a four-day conference stay. The hotel is old and Internet connections non-existent but overall impression is that management and staff work very hard to make the Ritz Milner an inexpensive quality place to stay. Surrounding areas are well-traveled and […] safe. Lisez la suite
"good"
I celebrated my valentines with my hunny and it was amazing. Great location everything is walking distance. Overall happy with my stay at ritz Milnore.
"Nice little Hotel"
I was there by myself on business for a two night stay. It was very convenient to the place I had to go, so, yay on that one. The hotel room itself was very small, but as I was alone, it was ok for just one person. If there had been two, we would have tripped all over each other. The hotel and the room are CLEAN. Very CLEAN. The staff was nice, and […] very helpful with information like places to eat, see, etc. The only negative I have about the hotel is that the television would not display closed captioning. I can't say it is the hotel's fault, though. It is usually the fault of the cable provider. Fortunately, from past experience with other hotels, I brought my portable DVD player with me and ignored the TV altogether. Lisez la suite
"Hotel in downtown LA - close to fun and more"
I found this deal the day before my stay and it was cheaper but much closer to the place where I needed to go to. The room was kind of small with not much space after the 2 twin beds in the room, but for staying a night, it was more than enough. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It had its own air conditioner, TV, and the basic amenities. […] The had a decent continental breakfast in the morning where you can make your own waffles. The bathroom had a step to get into and my friend kept on tripping on the step going to the bathroom. The ceiling also had a water spot, but not actively wet or dripping. There wasn't much of a view, but you can't really ask for one in downtown LA where there's buildings everywhere. The hotel is really close to the metro and other food places. However, when you're walking around the area, there are certain streets that look shady but not close to the hotel, so you can take the next street if you're walking to places you want to go to. "clean and quiet"
Just stayed one night as I had an interview right downtown the next morning. Stayed on the 9th floor and it was clean and quiet and not sketchy! Shower had no bath and was very tiny. There was parking right next door for $12. Continental breakfast was basic but that was fine with me. Overall it was nice and I had a good stay...I would say it's a little […] overpriced due to being right downtown but I don't mind because I mainly wanted to feel safe :). Lisez la suite
"The milner ritz in Los Angles- Close to Staples"
Nice hotel Was close to The Staple Center Where we went to see the Lakers play. Room was very small and walls are thin but good for the price if you like police sirens, loud cars and bums singing in the street mind you all this noise echos off all the 20 story buildings the surround the hotel.
"Worked for the price"
We were just needing a place to sleep and this hotel served the purpose. Hotel is old, rooms small, beds a bit soft, but, it was quiet, had free internet, clean, cable, nice continential breakfast, and located close to LA Live, Shopping and IHOP across the street open 24 hrs. Would stay again for the price.

"Plain and Simple"
If you want top notch this is not your hotel. It is a good simple clean and well run hotel. My room while small was clean well kept and functional(that means clean sheets, hot water and no bugs). Yes it is an older property, but if you want a simple place right in the heart of downtown then this is your hotel.
"Cozy"
I loved the quaint, comfy, and homey feel of your hotel. Even tho the tv/cable didn't work my first night I was kindly assisted and offerred another room. I enjoyed the fresh air coming thru the windows. A light blanket would have been nice but all in all, I was traveling alone, didn't know the area at all and staff was always attentive to me when I […] needed them. Thank you, and I hope to visit you again! Catherine R. Lisez la suite
"Great location and value for the price"
The Ritz Milner Hotel was a good value for the money. Exceptionally clean, it smelled nice and offered amenties such as shuttle service, expanded breakfast, great location, helpful staff. It is an older refurbished building, and while the rooms have new furniture, the building needs an overhaul. Overall for one or two nights can't beat the price.
"Just a Room"
I had a 4 day about 5 blocks from the hotel. The rooms are small but clean. Free breakfast & a great hole in the wall bar. Cheapest prices in town. If you need a room just to sleep & shower then this is it.
"best value"
The room was small but I was only sleeping there; I never even turned the television on. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the building itself was quiet. There was a lot of yelling from the stret but I attributed it being the weekend. Its less than a ten minute walk to the convention center and there's even an IHOP across the street. […] I would stay at the Milner again. You can't beat the price for the convenient location. Lisez la suite
"Overall satisfactory hotel"
Overall, we had a satisfactory stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable, but nothing really special. Just a bed, tv, closet, bathroom. The breakfast is also nothing special, kind of sad if you look forward to breakfasts. I usually just took a pastry on the run to hold me over while we tried to find a decent place to eat for breakfast. One […] of our 2 room key just never worked, even when we told the staff that it wasn't working and they 'reprogrammed' it for our room; but our one key worked so we just used that. There's a parking garage next to the hotel, charging $11/day which I thought wasn't too bad. We were out and about in LA during the day and only needed a place to shower and sleep so if that's what you're looking for in downtown LA area, this place will do. If you want something more, like a nice breakfast, or luxurious room, look elsewhere. Lisez la suite

"Ritz Milner Hotel"
Great location - real close to the staples center Nice staff - its a bit tired but if you are on holiday you only sleep there ! ... downtown is definitely better than it was...... -some nice bars
"Good for the Money"
This is a great little hotel that's close to all the downtown action. The staff is friendly and willing to help when needed. The parking structure is close and affordable. But,with that being said. The place is old and in need of MANY updates. There was only 1 or 2 ice machines working in the entire building. The rooms are small and dated. I'm sure […] the room was clean but so old that it was hard to tell what was clean and what "seasoned". DON'T STAY HERE IF YOUR EXPECTATION'S ARE HIGH." This is perfect for a stay if your intentions are a night of downtown action or just into the old buildings. Not recommended for honeymooners or family trips to LA. I promise you I'll stay there again, I kinda like the place. If I was going for more of a downtown "hotel experience" I would look further down the Hotels.com price list. Hope this helps.
