A recommander.
Hotel a conseillé vivement 4.5/5

"National a Miami Beach"
"The National Hotel - Miami Beach"
"The National Hotel : top !"
"great value for money and excellent location"

Everything was great with the exception of the bathroom which while small was lacking counterspace and there wasn't one hook in the bathroom. I would suggest a similar rack to the towel rack, but one that had a shelf and then a row of hooks underneath. There was plenty of wall space and it would have made the space much more functional.
"GREAT location"
Small rooms and smaller bathroom. Fantastic location. Great pool and beach area. good value. Stayed at The Ritz Carlton a few days later and was sad that I spent that much more for the same location.
"Recommended"
The hotel has a perfect location in the middle of cafes, bars, shoppings, bus stops, etc and most of all...to the beach. The hotels personnel is very friendly and attentive, and in different occasions they helped us a lot with information, services over expectations. The breakfast is very good and having it in next to the pool is a very pleasant experience. […] The hotel is old, but is possible to see they have made efforts in restoring it. The bathroom has some rust in different places, that they will need to take care of. Since the area is very alive at nights, can become very noisy. In overall, is a very good hotel that gives much value for the price. Highly recommended. Lisez la suite
"Great Hotel"
When we pulled up to the hotel, we were both a bit underwhelmed because it doesn't look all that great from the street. But we were pleasantly surprised once we got inside. The lobby is great and the back pool area is amazing. Our room was nice but the bathroom definitely needed some maintenance. Plus the shower really didn't have a door or anything […] on it...just a piece of glass covering half of it so the floor got a little wet, which was annoying. Also, you can definitely tell when the bars empty out. 10 years ago, I would have been right there with them but at this point in my life, it was a little too loud for me. I guess that's south beach for you. Lisez la suite
"The National Hotel in Miami during Ultra music fes"
I came down to Miami during the Winter music conference and Ultra music fest, and I have to say I will be back next year and will be staying at the same place! The pool party everyday was top notch, the service was great and The National is a hot spot during the events. I have already asked about booking for next year. I loved it!

"A little sad ..."
This could easily be a wonderful hotel. Most of the hotel has been well maintained over the years. Unfortunately, the hotel misses the mark on some basics. For a 4 star property on would expect relatively modern rooms. They are not. The televisions are old CRT models. The faucets in my room had rust on them and there was mold in several areas. The room […] itself was in a stairwell (very odd). The towels provided in the room were absolutely disgusting. They were stained and worn out. There were no "special" touches that one would expect at a 4 star property. The location is spectacular and the pool and lounge area at the back of the hotel are excellent. The employees were all wonderful. It just seems that this hotel is missing the opportunity to be a top class hotel by lacking attention to details that are simple and inexpensive to fix. I'm unlikely to stay here again when visiting South Beach until the hotel gets a refresh. It's stale. Lisez la suite
"The NAtional = BAD!!"
It is a hotell that needs renovation!!!!!! The rooms are bad and needs to get fixed. if you book that hotell ask for the cabanas thats the area in the hotel that is renovated. The standard is 2-3 stars a this hotell!!!!! NOT MORE THAN THAT!!
"perfect location"
Fantastic service , great beds , best location and wonderful food. That was our first time in Miami and when we go back we will definitely stay in National hotel again.
"National Hotel, February 2012"
We chose a cabana room, which was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. Only downside is that these rooms are accessible only from the garden, which can be inconvenient in rain, although ideal for access to the splendid pool-garden area and the beach. Staff was consistently friendly and helpful, with no attitude whatsoever.

"Great South Beach Feel Without the Stellar Service"
This hotel was a good value based on the cost of surrounding hotels. The outdoor areas have a true South Beach vibe and would be great for relaxing poolside and having access to the beach. The rooms were ok but nothing exceptional. The view of the water and beach was great. Maid service was ok, they did not clean the shower each day. I loved that the […] rooms had controllable air and also a ceiling fan that helped keep the room cool. The desk chair was very uncomfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. Overall, I felt that the staff lacked the "South Beach finesse" you see at other hotels on Collins. They were okay but nothing exceptional. Seemed very interested in laughing with each other rather than helping me. The bartender I had both nights was absolutely phenomenal, personable, remembered my drink order - the best staff experience at the hotel. The food at the hotel was surprisingly good and a reasonable price. Really loved the truffle alfredo! Lisez la suite
food at the aqua bar is lousy, BUT it's expensive! 4 meals between 2 of us, and none was passable.
"Great location and very friendly staff"
One of the best hotels we have stayed at for the money.
"Wifi still unreliable, one year on"
I previously stayed at this hotel exactly a year ago, and the wifi was hopeless. Really disappointing to return and find they still haven't sorted it out. If you don't need wifi, The National is well located, albeit slightly tatty. If you want wifi in your room, in the lobby or by the pool then look elsewhere.
"National Hotel - Good location, lots to be desired"
Stayed at the National just before New Year's. The Hotel is in a great SoBe location, right next door to the Delano Hotel and a close walk to many restaurants. Despite this, the National did not live up to my expectations. From arrival at the hotel until departure, the level of service was quite poor. There is rarely a doorman at the front of the hotel, […] so anyone can come and go as they please. I was staying in a cabana room, overlooking the long pool. The room had a relatively nice appearance (noting the recent update), albeit somewhat cheap looking in parts. The bathroom was small and the sink had very minimal shelf space to place even a razor and shave cream. There were no shelves in the shower either for shampoo / soap. While the hotel uses white towels / sheets, most of those placed in my room had black marks / stains on them, which significantly detracted from my experience. The king size bed and pillows were comfortable. Leaving the room and spending time by the beach / pool introduced additional complications. While the hotel provides chairs for guests, these chairs have no cushion and guests are provided one towel which only partially covers the chair. Ordering a burger by the beach, it came in a box, but with the burger in plastic wrap - grease all soaked into the bun. Following this experience, I decided to order a wrap at the pool bar. This too came wrapped in plastic and had no flavor. At least the lay's chips from the beach were replaced with french fries here. Overall, having stayed at other hotels in Miami, I can not recommend the National. For a cheap enough rate, the location is convenient; however, for the money I would suggest staying elsewhere. "Great art deco hotel"
It may not be the trendiest, but if you want a classic art deco experience with a prime location, a very nice pool area and great beach and don't want to pay through the nose, this is the place for you. I've stayed here a few times over the past dozen or so years and always have a good experience. Location can't be better (unless you want Ocean Drive […] which is noisy unless you're at the Betsy). Lobby is classic art deco. Just stayed in newly renovated cabana (along the pool, as opposed to in the tower) rooms and they were very tastefully done and appropriately luxurious). Cabana rooms also nice because of balconies and midday sun. Lisez la suite
"Great location"
Make sure you get a remodeled room. Only Cabana rooms have balconies. Much of the hotel was under construction when we went, which is something I think the hotel should have a disclaimer for before making customers commit and book.
"National Hotel"
Overall great location and good hotel facilities. Bathroom and fitness room for 4 star hotel is below par, however location compensates for it. Very nice staff
"Very Nice"
We stayed in the Cabana. Extremely nice, really enjoyed out stay.
"Good Value"
I was pleasantly surprised by the National Hotel. There were plenty of amenities (hotel bar and restauarant, two pools, cabanas, outdoor spa, and beach service) and a great location -- all at a very good price. The drawbacks were the small bathrooms and lobby smell (presumably from the disinfectants they use). Overall, I would recommend staying at the […] National and I myself would go again. Lisez la suite
"excellent hotel; one minor complaint"
Excellent hotel for location, price and quality. The only MINOR complaint that I would make is that in the basement, there's a rancid odor when you walk to the gym. They should either burn candles or deodorize it or something. I think that the kitchen might be located down there because it smells like pizza. Other than that, the place is fantastic.
"great place, location & price"
for these reasons would def go back
"The National in Miami"
I think this hotel is being renovated - if it isn't, it should be. The location is Great, the food at the restaurants are delicious (Sunday brunch is great) and the service at the pool and in the restaurants is also great. But the service at the front desk was a nightmare, and due to us putting up a stink, we were upgraded to a suite. The shower in […] the second bathroom of the suite was HORRIBLE. No pressure. Overall we booked early enough and got a discount, so it was worth it for the location and the food. But I might want to try something more luxurious next time I'm in the area. Lisez la suite
"Excellent"
Would recommend to anyone. Good service and accommodating.
"The National Hotel Miami-A stinky-sticky situation"
The hotel location is great. The food is pretty good-- though overpriced like everything else in Miami. However, if you do decide to stay here DO NOT stay in the tower. They will try to woo you with views of the ocean and crap like that, but the Tower is the oldest part of the hotel and in dire need of upgrading. The smell of mildew wafts through the […] halls (you can smell it the minute you step in the elevator), the carpeting in the room was sticky, and all the metal fixtures were corroded. I understand that in a humid climate these things often happen, but several of our party moved to rooms by the pool (newer part of hotel) or to neighboring hotels, and did not have mildew issues. The National tries to sell you luxury, but you end up with a lemon if you stay in the Tower. They did eventually move us to the poolside room on the last night of our stay, but by then the damage had been done. Won't be staying there again! Lisez la suite

"The National"
The Hotel was located in the middle of everything that was going on. Close cab ride to clubs and walking distance to beace. The only complaint was that the rooms were pretty small but if you are just using them for a place to sleep it doesnt really mattter

"National Hotel Good Value in South Beach"
About half the price of Delano, which was once worth twice but no longer, beautiful people have left there. Nice pool area with pretty good food and drinks, no rocking scene, but you can walk to that down at the Shore Club if interested.

"LOVELY HOTEL"
I called for a 12 pm check in and my room was ready and was very happy for that. The room is small but the beds are very confortable and the bathroom is very small. The pool and the grounds are just fantastic - it makes up for the small room, but who is hardly ever in your room in southbeach right?? We ate a lot of the food from the bar outside and […] the food was delicious. they do offer beach servious which i loved too. My friends also got an upgrade by the pool and we loved having the larger space by the pool - it made it that more special for all 7 of friends to entertain in there. The national hotel is a great hotel and i would stay there again for sure. Lisez la suite

"National Hotel Miami Beach"
I love the National. The staff is normally great. The tower rooms could use an update, but nice city views. The cabana rooms are excellent. Being served mojitos on the beach at my chaise lounge is vacay paradise. The pool is obviously spectacular. Good value for the price.
"National review So Beach"
Fantastic location right at the end of Lincoln Dr. Awesome pool that rivals the Delano. Room very small and most things outdated including old TV and bathroom.
