bien que proche de l'aeroport l hotel est calme, propre, chambre spacieuse, accueil souriant et personnel serviable seul point negatif de notre sejour le ventilo de la clim exterieur qui faisait un bruit monstrueus la nuit ! trés bon hotel

Hôtel correct mais on est obligé de prendre l'autoroute I-35 (toute proche) pour aller en ville. Il y a le wifi et un ordinateur disponible.

"sufficient. clean."

The hotel was fine. The problem is there are two Doubletree hotels, both on the same street, but 5 miles apart. I of course went to the wrong one and had to backtrack over to find the right Doubletree. May want to note this for future guests so they don't have the same issueAvis véridique Hotels.com

"Close to downtown"

"Would not stay again...poor value for money"
Was advertised as downtown location, but it is far from downtown. Toilet was broken and we had to move rooms. Hotel is between the interstate and a graveyard, and we had to walk under creepy bridges and see lots of homeless to get downtown. I would stay elsewhere next time. They did not have the room we had requested, and my friend and I had to share a bed. Then they had promised us to be moved after one night to two queen bed room, and to pack up and our bags would be moved - the following morning they said this may not happen after we spent the time in the morning re-packing. "Most convenient hotel to the Irwin Center"
We stayed here after attending a concert at the Irwin Center, which is a quick, easy walk away. The hotel was clean, in good condition, and very comfortable. My only complaint was the leaf blowers outside my window at 8 AM. Overall, though, you can't go wrong with this hotel if you will be visiting the campus or especially the Irwin Center.Avis véridique Hotels.com

"Mixed Bag"
The hotel was very convenient to the University of Texas campus, which is why I chose this hotel. The major problem was the non-working toilet in our room. The freeway traffic was also a major nuisance, as we were staying on the freeway facing side of hotel. Rooms could use more light. Not sure I would stay here again.Avis véridique Hotels.com

"Location, Location, Location on a budget"
Handy location near UT with free parking, but right next to the busy I-35 Highway. Free internet, friendly staff. Eat at hotel, Denny's next door or many places downtown Austin within a mile or so. Don't forget the free DoubleTree cookies!Avis véridique Expedia

Our stay was very nice. It was close to Bass Concert Hall at UT and convenient to downtown dining. On the morning before we left, we could not turn the shower on. It would not work at all. Customer service has been very good until we told them about the non-functioning shower. The desk person wasn't at all apologetic or concerned that it didn't work. […] She just said OK. It was super convenient for the downtown and University area. For the price, I would say it was okay however, our room did sometimes smell like sewer.... and then the smell would pass.....Needs plumbing work Serious renovations would jack up the price. It is great for those parents that are looking to come see their college kid and need to stay close […] to the University. I stayed at the airport Omni the previous night and it was absolutely fabulous and the same price. However, it's about 15 minutes from downtown and that's without traffic. In Austin traffic, tack on another 20 minutes just to get downtown. If you want ease in and out of downtown and the university area, for the price its a good deal. Dirty carpets but a good deal.... "Call for directions, don't trust GPS/address"
My stay was just OK. We were doing a quick trip, one overnight. The room was clean and comfortable but there was a light out in the room so I had to blindly walk around to find a lamp and switch without walking into anything. The air conditioner was on full blast in the room so I tried to lower it and it wouldn't work. There was a switch on the wall […] to shut it off completely, which I did. The front desk staff in the evening was a little inappropriate and unwelcoming. I entered the address into my GPS and ended up about 20 minutes north of the actual location. When I called the hotel to help with directions the first time they gave me the wrong info, the second time (different person) finally got me to the destination.
