Inn at Temple Street - Singapour

This was my 2nd visit to the Temple Inn and it was even better than I remembered. They still have pleasant staff and now have free WiFi. The location and price is as good as it gets in Singapore. The room was a small double but perfect for someone travelling alone although it maybe a little small for a couple. Lots of good food in Chinatown and if you […] want a real bargain eat at the local Peoples Park or Chinatown Hawker Market for some delicious cheap food. Nice small room in good location but for hotel level is missing te basics: no lift/ help and its 3 flights to the first floor, no hair dryer, bathroom door is a screen door.

Didn't have high expectations for a last-minute hotel for a last-minute business trip, however, the experience would be one to kick-up a fuss about if I wasn't so exhausted and desperate to sleep! Room felt crampt. Bathroom was worse. Found the last occupiers used showergel bottles open on the shower frame. Nearly went head over heels on the bathroom […] floor that wasn't tiled to be a wet room... The safe, which would have actually been useful was located in the wardrobe, and already locked... This is a very small hotel with a tiny lobby but relatively cheap for Singapore and a mere block and a half from the subway.. Overall, it was comfortable but there were a few problems:1. Great location. Located in Chinatown and was easy to get around. The hop on hop off bus right at the end of the street. Right near the chinatown markets. Not much to comment on the hotel. Easy to say that they don't provide room service, even for the bare essentials of toilet paper. Had to go and ask for this to be provided ourselves. We were advised […] that the hotel was in the middle of a renovation, therefore there was a strong smell of paint although we didn't see any workers. Paid for full breakfast, however, all we got was a cup of tea, eggs and toast. If you're simply looking for a bed to lay your head in a great location, then you can't beat the Inn at Temple Street. I was happy with the Inn at Temple Street. The room was clean even though small but enough for 1 or 2 people. It was quiet although it was in the middle of the tourist shopping area. We were delighted with the location and how the hotel looked. But, our room was dirty, as was the bathroom. The toilet flush system wasn't working well. Most of the hotel staff were not particularly cooperative or friendly.

For a single person for 2 nights it was OK if a bit expensive. Other than them not replacing the shampoo after the first night and dead batteries in the TV remote, nothing to write about. Having the room directly over the hotel entrance is a bit noisey in the very early morning when other guests leave for the airport.

Excellent location for food and subway (MTR). However, it was a very basic room - even for a budget hotel in Singapore. Room safe did not work. More troublesome was that the staff was not really interested in getting it fixed. Granted Singapore is a very safe place but the lack of a working room safe was still disconcerting. Don't buy the breakfast add-on since you'll just get a cup of coffee and 2 boiled eggs (or 1 sandwich) from the shop next door. There's no dining facility in the hotel. Since it's in Chinatown, you don't really need one at night but may need one early morning.

Firstly, the Hotel is not fantastic - around 2.5 star, but it's cheap, in a great location right in Chinatown and the MRT's at the corner! Check In easy..but No Lift, just stairs..so not suitable for people with mobility. Hotel has a quaint charm and definately has the "Inn" look and feel. Cheap Antique style furniture and bathroom. Some with shower […] only, others with bath/shower overhead. Rooms are very small and thin walls. Don't expect to swing that cat!! But even if the towels are a little threadbare, and the quilt cover the biggest in the world, the A/C was cold, the bed acceptable, Staff exeptionally friendly - Mr Karan AAA+++!! and the most important..Location, Location, Location. Maccas on the corner. Great restaurants and food, the MRT a stone's throw. AND SHOPPING!!! Chinatown is one of the cheapest markets around but for cheap mens & womens western clothing, watches, jewellery etc the gigantic Mustafas in Little India ( Farrer Park MRT ) is all under cover and aircon. Good for the wet day in Singers!! Also check out the Chinese Temple on the other corner with it's colourful facade. Breakfast is over the street and the chinese lady is very friendly. Sauberes, preiswertes Hotel mit einfacher Ausstattung in Chinatown, zentrale Lage, belebte Gegend, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in der Nähe und leicht zu erreichen. Viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Metro-Station am Ende der Strasse. Für einen Kurztrip nach Singapur sehr zu empfehlen.

　ホテル代の高いシンガポールですが、安く宿泊されたい方にお勧めです。場所もMRTの駅から徒歩5分程度ですので、悪くはありません。ホテルの隣には中華料理レストランも有り、美味しかったです。ただ、ホテルにはエレベーターが無い上、ミネラルウォーターのサービスもありませんでした。

El hotel esta en el barrio chino, muy cerca de la estacion del metro. La habitacion pequeña pero todo remodelado y por lo mismo que se encuentra en remodelacion el hotel huele a pintura, los pasillos estan en construccion. Lo unico malo es que no tiene elevador y nos toco subir maletas hasta el tercer piso

以前にも宿泊したホテルです。MRT東北線のチャイナタウン駅（A出口）から２分程度の場所にあります。近所には、おみやげ物屋、両替店もあり、とても立地が良いです。３階建ての割と小さいホテルで、難点はエレベータテが無いため、大きな荷物がある人は大変かもしれません。テンプル通りを駅側に進むと２４時間営業のマクドナルドもありますが、チャイナタウン・コンプレックスの２階に、約１５０軒のフードセンターが入っていて安く食事ができます。但し、夜は８時くらいに閉店してしまうので、遅くに食事をする場合は、パゴダ通りの屋台をご利用ください。ホテルのフロントにエアメールの発送を頼んだところ、１ドルかかりました。郵便切手代は５０セントなので、残りは手数料なのでしょう。
