I needed a very quiet room and I was put on the top floor at the very end, which was perfect. Staff was very helpful and I am staying again this week, thx.

Everything was great. I will stay there again. I love the front office people very helpful, polite and fast. Alex was on top of his game. Paperwork, room ready to go.

What I didn't like about the room I was in I had to go to the front desk to have work order made for tv and shower the shower was makeing. Noise not only in my room but in other room so who ever did tryed to take a shower it made noise like u was in a submarine so if u was sleep u was woke up are u would have to waite utill they finish

This is very nice place to stay, it has a kitchenette which I really enjoy cooking my own meals and not having to leave to the fast food or restaurant place to eat.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days and had a great time. The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is going thru a renovation so those who stay there now should be quite happy.

Very dissapointed by the room, there was a smell of humidity, the shower was very noisy and the bed not comfortable.

It was OK, but did not get the WOW service and did not feel that we were a welcomed guest.

Clean, large room with kitchenette! Perfect for two! Hotel personnel nice and friendly!

I was very unhappy with this hotel.. it started off with when we got into the room the tv didnt work, i called the front desk and she said she would have some come take care of it, no one came or called us back.. we fixed it ourself.. the fire alarm was unpluged and hanging from the ceilling. the floor was covered in animal hair which my son is highly […] allegic to dogs so we had to sleep with the windows open so he wouldnt have an attack. we had no soap or shampoo in the shower. I stayed at this hotel for a week and loved it. The hotel is undergoing a rennovation but still pleasant. The hotel front desk staff was very friendly and the hotel itself is in a great area with close shopping and restaurants.

Everythinb was cool... Bed was uncomfortable and front desk never sent coffee cups so I had to leave earlier than I wamted to get coffee. overall.quiet and cozy.... Would reccomend because of the quietness

Very low standard. Bathroom in very poor condition. Noise level high from running water in other rooms. Air conditioner started to overheat and electric smoke filled the room. The room was average, decent. The price was good. I needed a place to stay for one night. The neighborhood is good\safe

Every thing was good. the only thing is that housekeeping does not come, but once a week and if you want them to clean your room before that, it cause extra.

A nice hotel but no pool

It is a very simple hotel, and yet everything I needed was within reach. There is a grocery store nearby in a plaza where one can also find other every day necessities. I used the hotel for cooking and sleeping only, so I do not know about its services as far as food and laundry are concerned. My only complaint about our recent stay is that the commode was dysfunctional and appeared to be leaking.

we arrived late in the evening to find the one of the two beds had a spider in it. we called to inform the front desk they barely offered to help and we had to suggest a change of sheets, at no time were we offered another room or or any type of compensation. overall the hotel was in a good location for us but the lack of response from the staff was […] surprising Lisez la suite

clean hotel, affordable, friendly service

It was a nice hotel, clean room, good service, great price.

Live in the area but got a room because of girlfriend spending the weekend in Los Angeles. The room was reasonably priced and avaiable on a busy weekend- Long Beach Grand Prix. Next to Del Amo shopping center and restaurants so we did some walking very nice.

The hotel is in a nice neighborhood, and is very close to a number of wonderful restaurants and shops. It's also close enough to freeways to make it a good alternative to staying downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied.

Disappointed and will not stay here again. I would rather pay double and stay next door at Best Western. This place is old dirty and just plain scary to stay in. It looks ghetto, almost like a halfway house inside...

parking stalls seem to be small for a town who has beaches and dunes for outdoor activitys . i ended up with door dings on a three year old immaculate chevy truck, also restraunt bar closes early

Check-in clerk was very nice. Hotel was in great location and seemed to be taken care of. Worst part was the bed, which is the most important part of a hotel stay. Box spring sounded like an old wooden ship and creaked loudly every time you moved. Would not return.

home away from home helps me focus on the job to get done in town with any unnecessary frills

Great Location, STAFF WAS AWESOME!!!! Would definitely stay here again.

I was initially concerned based on the reviews but ultimately, I was very satisfied with my stay. Staff including the manager were all extremely friendly. They recommended restaurants and even gave directions. Hotel was clean inside and out. I felt safe in the area. Only complaint is that the bed was too noisy. Hotel personel at desk very helpful and friendly. We did not get the accomdations that we reserved and paid for well in advance of our stay. Poor communication between booking agent and hotel itself. We should not have been offered a particular room if it was not going to be available. Nice safe location.

If you need to be in Torrance, this is an excellent centrally-located place to stay. Nice kitchenette; pleasant rooms -- I've stayed in four or five over the years. Staff is pleasant. Well-lit parking lot. 5 minute drive to Redondo Beach Pier; easy access to freeways; half an hour from LAX.

Okay so the fact that the front desk actually CLOSES is new to me. Most hotels are 24 hours, especially when hyped about being near an airport. There is no parking for check-in. I had to use a handicap spot. I was not told where my room was or where to park. I was handed a key and off on my own. When I found the room it was very dirty. The floors were […] sticky. I wanted coffee and checked the drawers to find bugs and used silverware. I mean it was filthy, unwashed, and had gritty food on it. And not just particles, it looks like it was used to scoop oatmeal then tossed back int he drawer. there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Some of the lights did not work, or worked on their own doing whatever they wanted when you turned the switch. The fridge smelled. The sheets on the bed were not crisp and I had to wonder their history. I stayed relatively well clothed when I slept. The air conditioner knob was broken and it seemed LO COOL was the only setting I could use. There was trash in the room to include an old newspaper page from February 2009. I went ahead and left it in the room to see if they find it again. I felt like this room had been sealed up in a time capsule. it was dank and evoked a rotten scent. The TV was about 19" and way too small considering the shelf size. I am still disgusted about the food on the utensils in the drawer. And this is supposed to be a long term stay? When I was checking out there was a man in the hallway with a cooker. What is this, a third world country? This seemed more of a red light district hotel than an extended stay. Had I not had a flight in 12 hours I would have walked out of this place. Most hotels that get 2 stars are still very acceptable. This place needs to be shut down, then taken out and shot. I chose it because it is in Torrance and close to LAX. Next time I will wait at the airport. Lisez la suite

We enjoyed our two days at Extended Stay America. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The parking area is well lighted and safe. It's walking distance to a very large mall and plenty of quality restaurants nearby. The drive to the beach takes only a few minutes.
