hôtel situé près de l'arrêt de bus desservant les bus allant vers le Nord (Parc d'attractions, Australia Fair, Harbour Town). L'arrêt de bus pour les départ vers le Sud (Pacific Fair, Robina, Currubin Sanctuary) se trouve juste de l'autre côté de la route. Centre commercial dans le complexe juste en face (Chevron Renaissance) où il y avait un supermarché […] (Coles) pour les petites courses. Restaurant japonais à côté de Chevron Renaissance : trop top (manger sur place ou à emporter). hôtel situé pas loin de Cavill Avenue (5 min. de marche). Un conseil : ne pas prendre une chambre côté route car trop bruyant (on entend le bruit des voitures) : le soir on était obligé de laisser la tv allumé pour ne pas entendre le bruit des voitures). 1 ascenseur sur 2 en panne à notre arrivée (attente un peu longue devant l'ascenceur (l'autre ascenceur réparé la veille de notre départ). ne pas commander pizza "proscuitto" : pas terrible et trop cuite. On a pris une pizza en dehors qu'on a mangé dans la chambre : meilleur goût et moins cher. piscine non chauffée. spa super. happy hour de 17h à 19h tous les soirs au bar de la piscine : choc. Du bar et de la piscine, on a une belle vue sur la rivière (beau coucher du soleil). Le personnel qui nettoyait les chambres était très sympa. J'avais demandé une chambre pour 2 adultes et un bb. J'ai eu un lit simple et un lit deux places : trop top. Dans la chambre, il y avait un petit frigo (juste assez pour mettre les courses pour le ptit déj le matin et quelques boissons) ; une bouilloire électrique, 3 tasses + couverts + thé café sucre + serviettes + nécessaires pour la toilette. Le ménage était fait tous les jours. Table à repasser + fer + placard avec ceintres. voilà, en gros j'ai été satisfaite de l'hôtel, surtout au niveau de la situation de l'hôtel par rapport aux arrêt de bus puisqu'on ne s'est déplacé qu'en bus et à pied. l'hôtel est magnifiquement bien situé ! au centre de Surfers Paradise et donc près de tous les commerces, restaurants, activités touristiques, ... même les lignes de bus les plus importante sont proche de l'hotel, pas besoin de marrcher très loin pour s'occuper, tout est à moins de 100 mètres de l'hotel. Great location, got there and where welcomed by a very dull man at reception, treated us like idiots, seemed like he didnt want to be there. Got into the room, was just lovely, housekeepers did a really great job all throughout me and my partners stay. Would recommend this hotel just the reception need to get there act together.

Worry free and very comfortable... Very helpful and friendly hotel staff.

We had alot of fun and very relaxing.

I stay 3 night in April, 2012. The location is fair, with just about 10 min walk to the beach. My room views the river, which is good in the evening. It is comfortable though the room is not so big. There is a bus station just outside the hotel. Generally it is a good one with reasonable price.

First room was musty, with obvious mould in carpet. Tried to put up with smell but eventually asked to be moved. Second room had large wet patch in middle of carpet. When it was time for bed we found the donnas didn't fit in covers, so were hanging out and were filthy. When alerting desk staff all they did was offer me my parking for free. It really […] was disgusting. On top of that it was rather noisy due to being on a main road but I expected that. love the hotel and it is close to everything

Only complaint is the preset sound on TV is too low as combined with background street noise it is very hard to hear especially for older people. Please rectify !!!!

the table on the patio looked like it came from the local dump other patios tables looked good we must have got a dud and it was dirty(very) the table inside was also very dirty. we asked a staff for a table cloth to disguise the patio table as we were having friends around for a drink and they could not find a table cloth and were very apologetic and […] gave us 2 large napkins full marks to the staff they were excellent we are staying with you again in a few weeks thanks tom t very good staff Lisez la suite

the hotel took over a week to release the holding deposit back into my account.. not impressed after calling them 3times, it was finally done!

I had stayed at the Vibe in Sydney and this was the reason that I chose the Vibe on the Gold Coast. The cleaniness of the room was appauling. Their was rubbish surrounding the pool. One of the lamps next to the bed did not work. The ceiling light in the room did not work. There was tooth paste from the previous guest on the sink. There was no plug […] for the bath (I had a three year old with me). At one stage the tv did not work. When we left to get dinner and returned our room key did not work. The glass door was very tight and hard to open. The whole place needs a better cleaning crew (especially around the pool) and some money spent on general maintenance. Lisez la suite

Had a great stay. Great service and nice view. Close to everything. One very annoying thing was that we were charged for a movie after channel hopping and accidentally activating a movie. By the time the tv was turned off (about 5secs) we had been billed a very significant sum. We could not be reimbursed by The Vibe as it is a seperate company that […] runs the movie channels. Beware! Hotel staff were slow and could not deal with the number of people checking in, even though the queue was not long (& it was low season!). They were flustered, were not friendly at all and couldn't deal adequately with the lack of car space in the hotel (ie provide other options to customers). The hotel itself is not even a 4* - perhaps a 2-3*. It was […] old and had mould in certain areas. I walked into the room one day while the cleaning staff was still cleaning and saw that she only cursorily vacuumed the room. You could literally see dust floating in the air in the room. The only positive is the location of the hotel which is very central to surfer's paradise. Having said that, with the high number of hotels and serviced apartments in the vicinity, you're better off heading off to one of those! Lisez la suite

The Vibe Hotel Surfer's Paradise Fantastic location in the heart of Gold Coast. Christian at check in had no PR skills whatsover..didn't make eye contact, no conversation forthcoming! However Emma-Lee the other reception clerk was very good and quite helpful. Absolutely shocked at being hit for $80 taxes when booking two nights accom online!!!!

it was ok basically. they had a sale so therefore we book this hotel. first impression, the hotel itself close to shopping center but its not so close to surfer paradise beach and the entertainment. we were also surprised to find crocoach nearby out bathroom, but we didnt go complaint as we only had 2 nights. so we let it go..but i dont think i will […] be staying here again if there werent any sales though! modern rooms, walking distance to everything, kick back for happy hour at the pool bar. We picked the right place.

Had a great time on the coast and the hotel is in a great location. Bit dissapointed about the double parking underneath the hotel and guests who've hired a car should really be told before hand. Also the hot water in our room, room 512, wasn't very hot at all and we could hear guests in other rooms. Overall the hotel and the hotel services were fine […] though . Thanks. Lisez la suite

Great stay

Everything from Location to service was great. But Cracks in Sink, chips in walls and doors, stains on carpet and newspapers in the swimming pool do not keep hotels at 5 stars!!

excellent location!!! right in the middle of the surfer paradise!! close to everything!! If you stay in this hotel, and planning to take buses to travel to theme parks, this location is perfect for you! Also you dont need to hotel to airport pick ups, because the public bus stop is right in front of the hotel!!

Great hotel upgrade on arrival and would recommend this to every one I booked on hotels.com and was great value Rooms were clean and homie Had the buffet breakfast and was delicious Josh

This place is great for young couples, it has a funky bar and cool tunes. My only problem was the parking, although the staff sorted it out quite well. Will go back again.

Book a room with "Aqua" view, definitely worth it: you don't see the sea, but the river behind the hotel, which is great to contemplate. The hotel is not on the sea shore itself, but its location makes it really easy to go to the center of Surfer's Paradise, and the bus stop is almost just in front of it. Very clean hotel with a good vibe. Modern stylish and a good breakfast bar. Staff friendly i was very staidfied with my stay in all areas.

Yeah it might be cheap, but I'd rather pay a little more and get somewhere nice. Also wasn't advised of a security deposit and when you're only going away for 2 days, it's a big chunk of spending money gone.

I injoyed my stay less I would not write anything The only draw back was the hot water jug and the change it right away

The staff were quite friendly and nice, servicing was not quite good, huge delay for lifts to operate. Our room had noisy air-condition so that we couldn't turn it on. Generally if I want to compaire it with similar stars hotel I would say abit far away from my expectation.

Good location, hotel it self looked modern but cant hide the oldness. Room was clean and spacious.

After visiting the vibe hotel,i was most surprised by the price at first it was really good value for money it had everything i hoped for especially locality.Nice clean room with great views of the river.I will be staying here again and would recommend it .
