La Quinta Inn & Suites Anaheim - Anaheim

I booked 7 rooms for 3 nights and was pleased and unhappy. The hotel is old and in need of remodeling. They do not pretend to be anything they are not. The break fast is limited and the space is small. The staff did not do a good job of haveing the rooms clean when we arrived. There was food in the fridge and cookies under the bed sham when i arrived. […] My students were fine with everything but they have not traveled much. The location is close to Disney Land...10 min. walk. Lots of restrauntes close by. There is no space to meet with a group except in the small lobby. They only cleaned the rooms once in 3 days. Overall it was ok but do not plan to spend much time at the hotel. They resolved any issues to my satisfaction with a smile. Bring good walking shoes. Lisez la suite

I travel pretty frequently and this has to be one of the most unorganized places. The only thing that was sufficient was the bland breakfast that was served.The room i booked was a double suite smoking, it says this on my confirmation as well. When i approached them we entered the room and it was a nonsmoking room. So i went back and the only room they […] had available was a single king, half the room size. The kicker NO WINDOWS?!?! If you got the money and have kids, the Kids Suite is worth the stay! Very big and roomy, and the kid's section is seperated; and they have their own TV, incase you just want to rest while they watch cartoons. Also, conveniantly located near the convention center

There was limited outside parking. Garage was too low for large pickup trucks.

This hotel is old! The building is old and that made us a little bit nervous, but the room is enough clean and comfortable for family like us. The shuttle bus to Disney stops right behind of this hotel, so you don't have to pay for expensive parking fee there. Restaurants are steps away. Very convenient indeed.

Parking is difficult and not enough spaces. The blankets in one of rooms should have never been placed on the beds. They had major holes in the blankets. It was really gross. The breakfast room and food was substandard. Better plan eating elsewhere, unless you like Dolly Maddison donoughts. The worse part is when the desk clerk tried to convience me […] that I only rented one room instead of two. Came to find out my pre-paid rooms were given away before we got there. Ugg. Awful!! Not recommended! Dirtty! Hall ways smelled of smoke! Dogs barking in various rooms! Thin walls we could hear everything!! Not enough parking!! My husband to park 2 blocks away in a totally different lot and had to pay for parking there!!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the room sizes are very nice. However, after a night of itching and scratching in bed, my husband and I decided to find another hotel. We stayed in a different hotel the night before and the night after our stay at the La Quinta and there was not itching so I don't know if there were fleas or what but we […] would not recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay, this hotel was close to all the Anaheim attractions. Our room was nice and spacious. The hotel was quiet and had a nice basic free continental breakfast. I recommend this hotel for people on a budget who want a little more than a motel.

Parking is an issue here. Could use upgrades.

the hotel is clean. the location was great (10 min walk to disneyland). the breakfast was less than good, but it was food. the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke even though all the rooms have these no-smoking signs on them. it made me and the kids gag. that was probably the worst part of the hotel. everything else is doable as we were only there […] to sleep. the price was great. This had to be the worst maintained property, I ever stayed at. I booked three rooms for my family, one room the air conditioning unit did not work correctly and leaked water onto the carpet by the door causing a large black spot ( This unit must have been leaking water for sometime due to the smell of mold). This may of been why my son and his girlfriends […] son got sick. In our room the closet doors were broken from their hinges and the dresser draws didn't open. We were happy with the location and because of my sister's handicap needs, the clerk upgraded our room. The hotel is old, carpets are worn out, the bathroom had mold in the sink. I would not be returning.

The best thing about this hotel was the location. Across the street within walking distance is an underground 24hour Fitness and about 5 great restaurants, although no coffee shops. Disneyland is 5 minutes away, driving. The pull out bed is horribly uncomfortable. There is only one sink. The room is musty and the underground parking is loud with an […] unsafe feeling. Clean, not too noisy, AC worked great, water temperature on bathroom shower was great, staff was friendly. All and all a great stay

This hotel was across the street from Disneyland Resort/Downtown Disney so it was incredibly convenient. The rooms seemed a little outdated but were comfortable. Our room was deemed "non-smoking" but smelled as if it had once been a smoker's room. Although this hotel wasn't the most up-to-date, it wasn't horribly outdated either. It was probably pretty darn good for the rate we paid. We chose it because of the cool bunk beds in the kids suite, and those were all that we had hoped for. The bunk beds were in okay condition, although there was cardboard as a mattress support for the top bunk, and […] that cardboard had been ripped by many a child who slept on the bottom bunk. The kids loved the bed though, and the little table and chairs in the room. There was also an additional tv in their section of the room, which was a big hit. The queen beds in the parents' side were comfortable enough, but felt small, like maybe a full bed instead of a queen. The velour blanket under the quilt was also in bad shape. It had holes all over it. The sheets on all beds were crisp and clean, however, which made the bed seem clean, although kind of run down. We could see the Disney fireworks from the hotel, but on the second floor, they're kind of obstructed by trees. The kids LOVED the hotel pool which was small, but heated, and in good shape. Walking to Disney was do-able, but kind of far for little kids and parents who have to carry little kids who get tired of walking. It felt like well over a mile. The resort transit shuttle comes RIGHT to the hotel and if you are going to Disney, it is WELL worth the $3/adult and $1/child. The breakfast buffet was good every morning and saved us a ton of money. It is mostly donuts, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, fruit, toast, waffles and oatmeal. Coffee, juice and milk also. Bathrooms were clean, but small and the ceiling felt low. A very good budget hotel, though. For the quality of the hotel, I'd stay there again, but for proximity to Disney, I'd pick somewhere closer. Lisez la suite

I have never seen a hotel in this condition before. It was very dirty, smelly and old. The beds were not made properly and the pull out couch was just springs and no padding. The shower curtain was old and dirty and there were strange hairs all over the place and it was extremely dusty and unclean. The carpet was actually sticky it was so old. The smell […] was awful and the air conditioning was loud and difficult to operate. Not very many outlets for electrical devices. No screens on the windows and basically disgusting all around. room was near an elevator and very noisy. Breakfast was not very good and we found a near by restaurant to eat. Overall we were disappointed

La Quinta is across the street from Disneyland, and minutes from Knott's Berry Farm, and 30 minutes from Universal Studios. It is a great place to stay.

Descent, clean and friendly people. The only down side is the smoking area. they should limit the smokers. Its not good for health specially for children.

Stood here while training in Anaheim for work. Was very pleased with my room. It was very clean and comfortable. Was very happy that the walk to Disneyland wasnt very far, still not really close but good enough for me. Enjoyed the view from my room at the firework show from Disneyland. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but could use more electric outlets on counter. This location was close to Disneyland and the shuttle buses were on time (every 20 minutes).

The morning breakfast leaves something to be desired but even so it is satisfactory. The hotel itself is in a great location that is close to Disneyland and the Honda Center, both places we visited on our stay. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a decent place in a great location for a good price.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay at the hotel. The staff was very courteous and pleasant. They also were helpful with information about surrounding attractions, etc. The one drawback...each morning a considerable amount of cigarette smoke could be smelled in the room and in the halls on the second floor. The door on the 1st floor to the parking garage was held […] open by a barrel of sorts with a cigarette tray that had many cigarette butts in it. This was the only distraction of our visit. Nice hotel, convenient to Disneyland and Anaheim Convention center. Only suggestion is that Continental breakfast could be improved; waffles were premade, frozen type waffles that were not good. Would be nice to have some scrambled eggs on the breakfast line instead of cold boiled eggs, and perhaps a bit more variety of fruit..

Traveling with a young family of five for our first Disneyland vacation. On the whole I believe we got what we paid for. The hotel was reasonably clean and with it being a couple of blocks away from the Disneyland gates, we were able to go back for afternoons breaks. The free breakfast was a little scant but it filled the hole (If your kids like Froot […] Loops, you are good). The only complaint is we seemed to have wildly different results with different room staff. For example, on returning to the room one afternoon we found that the beds were made but no new towels were left, garbage's were not emptied etc. On the next day the room was redone top to bottom. The following day, again, barley a once over. I got into the habit of just going down the hallway and taking whatever items I needed off of the chamber maid cart (towels, cups etc). No great drama, but a little frustrating. Beyond that, as I said, I think we got what we paid for. Having said that, I think next time I would likely pay a bit more to get a few more amenities. Although I liked the location I actually would consider staying a little further away to get a newer hotel for about the same money and then use the shuttle services to get back and forth. The whole area is serviced by a number of shuttle companies that cost a family of 5 about $30 for three days of unlimited trips. Lisez la suite

I stayed at this hotel because I was attending a convention at the Anaheim Convention Center. You will NOT want to talk to the center. You will drive and the parking for convention was $12/day. The hotel is generally nice and clean. Only three complaints: (1) the A/C unit is in the wall and EXTREMELY LOUD; (2) while the area is nice, this hotel is […] actually one block down from the nice area and the surrounding neighborhood is low-income sketchy. For instance, I chose to drive to the GardenWalk (nice restaurant area) two blocks away because I didnt want to risk walking through the neighborhood by the hotel at 10-11pm at night.; and (3) the water pressure of the shower is very low. Dont get me wrong, this is a good comfortable hotel if you want a place to stay on the cheap. Next time i will choose something one block from convention and near restaurant area. When I got to the room the bathroom sink (which is not in the bathroom but in the bedroom) had sand in it. I asked to have it cleaned and they did promptly. The problem was that throughout the night the sink would start to bubble up with, uh stuff. (I prefer NOT to know what it was). Yuk!

Our room was very comfortable and our dog was content. There is no grass area close, but we walked around the block and it has large sidewalks and areas for potty time. Take your own poo bag, but if you forget there is one station in the Marriott parking lot. The area seems very safe I felt comfortable walking at night. Most pets stay in a central area […] within the hotel and barking was a bit of an issue. I called once, but understand it's hard to control other people's pets. Breakfast was a little lacking, but acceptable for a quick bite. I always stay at La Quinta and admit breakfast has been much better at other locations. We were extremely pleased with our stay at the La Quinta Anaheim. We were able to check in early and it is within walking distance to Disneyland. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

I would not stay here again. The actual check in process was fine and the front office looked great, but the room itself was in poor condition. I felt that the term "2 room king suite" was not an accurate description of this room. The room was very small with a glass partition sliding door- this was the divider between the bed and the "sitting room […] area". The room had a bad smell to it, they could not provide me with additional blankets when I asked, and it took them over an hour to respond to my complaint about a barking dog in the room next door to me (at 11:00pm). The heating unit inside the room was very loud and it did not warm the room sufficiently. The breakfast offered was not appetizing- all prepackaged doughnuts, frozen waffles and bad coffee. Carpets in the room and in the hallways was noticeably dirty. The only thing that worked well here was the free wireless internet. Lisez la suite

The La Quinta is near restaurants, a cinema, and close to Disneyland and the Anaheim convention center. The rooms are spacious, most are 2 room suites, with a queen bed or 2 doubles in one area,, and a sofa bed with table and chairs in the other. Microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker plus free breakfast daily add to the perks. The breakfast […] includes bagels, toast, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal ,hard boiled eggs, coffee and juices. Free parking, swimming pool and small fitness room are plusses.
