Je suis resté dans cette hôtel pendant près de 10 jours. Le but était simplement de pouvoir dormir, étant donné que les journées étant bien chargées. Le personnel est très agréable et serviable. La qualité de la chambre est assez basique. J'ai pas eu de chance, les robinets faisaient du bruit lorsqu'ils étaient ouverts à un certain débit et l'écoulement […] de la baignoire se faisait très mal. Conséquence, après chaque douche, mousse et cheveux erraient sur la baignoire. Pas top du tout! Ceux qui ont le sommeil léger s'abstenir! En effet la chambre est très mal insonorisé et on entend très fort les gens qui passent sur le couloir, en talons ou avec leurs bagages. La climatisation est aux pieds du lit. Non seulement elle fait bop de bruit aussi, mais elle vous envoie l'air frais (au chaud) directement sur le corps. Finalement, le quartier n'est pas top. Lorsqu'on rentre après 23h, il est très courant de croiser les femmes de loisir sur les trottoirs. Malgré tout ça, c'était quand même pas désagréable d'y séjourner et pour le prix c'était correct. The main street out front of the motel is being torn up for sewer pipes and its going to last a few months at least. Try to get a room on the lower floor as no elevators & stairs narrow. Differcult to carry bags up the staircase. Also try to get a room away from the Mcdonalds resturant side. Its drive through is open 24/7 & noisey. Rooms are ok for […] non-season price. The room was satisfactory considering the price. Attending a workshop late into the evening, the room was just intended for sleep and showering. It served it's purpose in that respect, although it was quite noisy early in the morning because of some rowdier tenants. Also, being located right next to an all night fast food restaurant didn't help the […] situation. If I were to attend another workshop in the same location, I wouldn't have a problem staying at the same location. Lisez la suite

The location was the worst part of this hotel. We had to drive downtown. The bus is right out front, but takes about 20 minutes. The subway wasn't too far (we found it the next day on our run) but we were told it was about a mile and we couldn't tell if the neighborhood was ok. very reasonable and friendly staff

Hotel is pretty central to all of the must see sights. I booked using hotels.com and got a pretty good deal for my room. I must say that the walls are very thin - you can hear EVERYTHING that's going on outside of your room, and the bed was pretty hard. Other than that, the room was very tidy and smelled good.

Lovely surroundings with beautiful flowers to brighten what would otherwise have been a regular rainy day in Vancouver. The room was clean and met all our needs. The hotel was fine for what we were looking for. The courtyard is very pretty. The only downside was some drunk guests making a bit of a racket around 3:00am.

The hotel was a great convenient place to stay. My only complaint was with the maid service. We never received face cloths when they tidied the room each day, had to ask at the front desk for them. Also, when they went to replenish the coffee supply, the sugars, stir sticks, etc., were just plopped on the tray, not put in the little container.

The courtyard was quite nice however, being right next to a McDonald's Drive-Thru kept it very noisy all through the night. I was extremely disappointed with the washroom, it was so very small and the shower was old and dingy, there was alot of hair on the floor and not very clean at all! From the reviews I expected it to be decent but was actually very satisfied with the hotel. It was very close to bus stops and the rooms were clean with very large tvs and cable. Overall would recommend only downside is being able to hear people walk past your door but for the price who cares

Our stay was great -- we always stay at this particular location because it is on a main road (easy to navigate), it is a 5-10 minute walk from the 29th Ave skytrain station and a 5 minute drive to Metrotown. Only about 25-30 minute drive to the airport, and just down the street from the Metropolis mall. This is a basic hotel - inexpensive, but comfortable. The staff was great - the guy behind the counter lent me a bathroom scale so I could weigh my luggage.

For the price we paid it was a good hotel. Newly renovated, fridge, clean. The room was small, and peeking in other rooms while walking by, that seemed like a common theme. One thing was that the hotel is set up with a courtyard, and the hallway is uneven tile, therefore the entire morning you hear the housekeeping cart rattling around the hotel. The […] walls also seem to be fairly thin as you hear all the vacuuming/dogs barking/people walking through the parking lot. I can say the hotel was okay, but I will not stay there again. Specially with children. It was really loud at night. We could hear the conversations people were having outside their rooms almost as if they were inside our room. The rooms are extremely small and they could use some serious cosmetic repairs. On the second date we decided to have breakfast […] somewhere else even though it was included as the breakfast lounge was extremely small. Tables were practically touching with no space to walk around and they were not replenishing supplies fast enough. My daughter ended up having to eat dry cereal as the milk was gone and no one came to put more until way later. It is close to downtown, but the neighborhood was not nice at all. I liked the design of the hotel with the interior courtyard with the anticipation of rhododendrons blooming in a few months. It felt safe to walk around the garden and enjoy the greenery. My room was very highend and quiet.

I booked this room because of the free parking, free full breakfast, nice looking pictures of room and location to downtown. The hotel itself is clean and has great gardening going on. 24 hr McDs next door is convientant. The room we got was near a storage closet and an exit so it was quite loud. The heater in the room worked great. TV was large and […] clear. The bed was too hard. I kept waking up with a backache. The back of the desk chair was comfortable except the pump to go up didnt work so it was hard to sit down and work on the desk. The wifi kept going in and out which was frustrating. The shower water temp was awful. In a matter of seconds the water would either be buring hot or ice cold. The free full breakfast was very sad looking so I never ate it. They did give me and my guest a $4 off voucher for the Tipper across the street. It was actually really good food and pleasant cook. If you stay at this hotel, definatly go to the Tipper for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Overall, I wouldnt stay here. Lisez la suite

Wonderful place. Breakfast truly got us started and had real orange juice, prunes and cream cheese and apples. Staff was also top notch. Our only complaint was the shower would suddenly go hot or cold for no reason. Almost impossible to bath our two-year-old daughter.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. It's a ten min walk to the nearest skytrain. But there are two useful buses on the corner that can get you downtown easily. Very good value for your money.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times now, and would happily stay there again. Comfortable beds, pleasant rooms, nice staff, good breakfast.

the room itself was fine and the hotel staff were freindly and courteous. The biggest issue we had was with the noisiness of the courtyard. The 2nd evening we stayed, there was a loud commotion from some guests/visitors and it sounded like they were right outside our door. The Best in Comfort, Excellent service in every area, we were so very, very impressed with this Hotel and very reasonable price a night, the breakfast was great, every need supplied, clean, beautiful construction, newly reno'd, a bus to everything and staff always helped!!! The title suggests it is down town and it is not. The rooms are not well insulated and every noise in adjacent rooms can be heard.

Bus near by (20 minutes to downtown). But not much around (Mc Donald's, pizza, dollarama...). Nice garden. Very good for the price

This hotel isn't too bad. The good things are that free internet (not all inns provide it, from my experience), complementary breakfast (the standard bakery, fruits, cereal), very friendly staff, a very large closet, and they have a free maps of Vancouver. The bad things are that the rooms are pretty small if you have two queen beds, the sink is really […] just a sink and there isn't a counter, some rooms were being renovated when I was there (December 2011), the parking lot is pretty small, one side of the building faces a McDonalds and the bathroom window also faces it (meaning people can see in while at McDonalds), and if there are rooms above you odds are you can feel the vibration from upstairs. There's no elevators, but most inns don't have one anyway. On a different note, the hotel is located in a busy district: a mix of shops, restaurants, and residential. There are local shops you can visit that are walkable, but most are Chinese shops from what I noticed. Main Vancouver attractions and downtown aren't too far, but driving is recommended to get there. We made our first stay at Days Inn Vancouver in July of this year. Based on our experience, we decided to stay again, and this time our stay was more comfortable. Our second floor room offered a tub, as opposed to the stand-alone shower from our first stay. The beds were comfortable, and both rooms had in-room amenities of refrigerator and microwave. Service […] was good - we had no trouble getting a crib for our toddler - was in our room from requesting online. The only down side is the free breakfast. If you're looking for more than toast, cereal, and bagels from this hotel you'll be disappointed. Overall, we stayed here for the location, and the price, not for the breakfast. Lisez la suite

The hotel is good in general but the breakfast does not consist of hot items like eggs or hotdogs that is usually taken by a vast majority of customers. It does not affect the customer if you add $3-5 to the daily rate and add these hot items to you breakfast menu.
