on arrival my room was clean, comfortable, and smelt good, however later in the evening I contnued to smell what I would describe as cigarette smoke circulating through the A/C unit in my room. I was going out for dinner, so when I returned @ 10pm everything seemed fine, only to wake up several times during the night smelling smoke again. "Great stay in East Texas"
It was a great experience. The room was very clean, well kept and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The only thing was we tried to rent a movie for the four year old and the clerk did not know there was a credit card on file as the computer just shows that it was paid for by Hotels.com or Expedia.Avis véridique Hotels.com

My family and I stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was pleasant enough. The living room sofa bed and kitchen table and chairs were in need of an upgrade. The service provided by housekeeping was supereb. Also front desk clerk 'Christine' was exceptional in her services and made us feel at home. She is remarkable and I commend her in the way she carries […] out her duties in a professional manner and also at the same time making you feel welcomed and at home. Unfortunately there was another front desk clerk 'Yakita' who was most unpleasant and unprofessional from check in to check out. Thank God Christine was there to show us that not all employees behaved in the manner Yakita did. Yakita was argumentative and had a tendency of rolling her eyes in a rude manner. Unfortunately Yakita was the initial contact when we checked in and if it was not for Christine we would have cancelled and went elsewhere. I stay here because I like the comfort and accessibility to the area highways. The thing about Longview that everything, even the Loop281/259 development/entertainment are minutes away so it doesn't really matter where you stay.
