Situation
A Charlotte, cet hôtel qui porte le nom de Hilton Charlotte Center City est très pratique pour les voyageurs d'affaires et se trouve tout près de Time Warner Cable Arena, Charlotte Convention Center et Stade Bank of America. NASCAR Hall of Fame et Discovery Place se trouvent également à proximité.

"Nice downtown hotel"
I stayed for a convention, 1 block from the Convention Center, and short walk to downtown restaurants and theaters. Hotel was nice. Tiny lobby with no real area to meet up with friends. Parking deck was confusing - poor signs as to how to get into the hotel.

Great hotel... professional staff... but valet parking is in the open... not undercover like the "park yourself" -- so be advised. Your valet parked car will arrive in winter with ice or snow on the windshield etc while a self park stays as it was..

Very nice hotel! Great shops and bar and restaurant located in the hotel. Everything you need was in walking distance. Will always stay here when in Charlotte. Staff were helpful and prompt.
"Not what expected.."
Service of staff was very good, however that is it for the positive experience. First of all the room was very small and outdated. Second, the fitness center and pool they advertise is not owned by the hotel it is the YMCA that is in the connecting tower. It cost an extra 8.00 a day and no children are allowed except for friday night for two hours and […] 8-4 sat.. Third, did I say the room was small and outdated..just making sure..no refridgerator etc..I would only recommend this hotel to the single business person and not at all a family weekend retreat. "Hilton Charlotte... elevator nightmare"
This hotel has 22 floors and only 4 elevators. It took over an hour to get into one, unless you wanted to walk down 20 floors... which we did instead. The receptionist said that parking fees were charged at the time of checkout, but they disabled the door keys at midnight because the fee hadn't been paid. The hotel is in a great location and very clean, […] but I am disappointed with the overall stay. If you pay that much for a room, there shouldn't be any issues like that at all... that's what you are paying for Lisez la suite

I was happy to hear that you were pleased with the cleanliness of our guestrooms and that you enjoyed our location so close to many restaurants and entertainment options. I do sincerely apologize that you had a very difficult time utilizing our elevators. Due to a large conference at the Convention Center, our hotel was sold out with over 1200 guests staying in the hotel and causing the elevators not able to get to all floors in a timely manner. We do reach out to our guests first when the hotel does not have sufficient funds to cover any charges prior to check out and therefore sincerely apologize that your room key was not working. Nice hotel in great location. Restaurant and bar service were not as good as i hoped but there are plenty of places within walking distance.
We are very happy to see that overall you enjoyed your stay with us at the hotel. However I was sad to see that the service was not up to your expectations in the bar and restauarant and I think you will be glad to see that over the next few weeks we are changing our menus both in the restaurant and bar and doing some major upgrades to our operation. We would love to see you back in the hotel soon and to enjoy the experience of our operation that you should expect.

Had a wonderful time. Checking out Sunday was kind of an ordeal but overall the stay was very nice. Eugene is a great guy and helped us with everything we needed!

Stayed one night for a panthers game. It was great. Close to the stadium, beautiful hotel, great food and friendly people. Will stay next time.

Not quite sure what happened, but when we arrived at the hotel we were informed that even though we had a reservation for a room with a king bed, all of them were taken and we were being moved into a room with two double bed. I would like to clarify that all reservations are guarenteed to have a room at the hotel of choice, but that the room type, high or low floor, non-smoking or smoking, views, etc., are all requests. Our hotel tries very hard to accomodate all the requests of our guests based on availability as this applies to online and telephone bookings and again apologize that we were not able to do this on this occasion. "Room was nicer than the Omni"
We were in the states (live in Prague,Czech Republic) For the holidays to visit family and friends. Had to stay center city because we wanted to be close to the city. We stayed at the Omni last year and it was nice but the Hilton had a much bigger room and everything you could want. The price was much cheaper too. We will definitely stay here again […] . Hotel was comfortable and nice and in a good location for us. Wish parking had been less expensive and, well, that fans were included in the bathrooms!

"Great Hotel, Horrible customer service"
I thought that it was just a moment of a sudden rush that had the employees working the front desk less than polite. However, after having to go downstairs 3 times to have my key "recoded", I noticed that it was just a bad case of rude uncaring and lack of customer service skills. It is sad that the interior and exterior of the hotel does not begin […] to tell the story of the horrific personnel working the registration desk. The Hilton Charlotte has to be the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff was very attentive and execptionally helpful. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. "Hilton center city - great way to see Charlotte"
Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room were very nice and made it easy use laptop and other devices on big screen HDTV. Nightlife and other attractions are only a block or two away!

"Charlotte Hilton 3rd Street"
Had a wonderful stay at the Hilton. The entire staff was very helpful. The bell service and valet service attendants were excellent. Our bell service attendant even made sure when we left that we knew exactly how to get back to the interstate. We didnt have to ask him he just took it upon himself to ask us. Will surely stay there again.

I checked into an executive king room for business thinking the room would be well worth the extra. It wasn't. While the hotel was clean and maintained, the room just didn't warrant the price. I would recommend staying here, but in their cheapest room, since you won't gain much by purchasing the extras.

Hotel was comfortable enough - hotel staff left much to be desired: front desk was not terribly accomodating and the cleaning staff didn't make it to my room before 7pm (at which point I was in for the evening). But room was clean and very spacious. Convenient location for Charlotte.
My stay at the hilton was great, the hotel and surrounding area were very convieniant everything was within walking distance. the clubs were great and there were plenty of places to eat. The room and bathroom were both very clean. Eventhough we were in the heart of the city it was still quiet. I am definatly booking here whenever I come to town.

"Great hotel...but..."
The hotel itself was great, however important info was not disclosed at the time of reservation. 1st of all we had a party of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and made a reservation with breakfest buffet included. On arrival, we were alloted only 2 buffet vouchers. I would have assumed everyone in our party would have been included. Also, our kids always take advantage […] of hotel pools -- however kids are not allowed in the pool/gym at this Hilton (which is the downtown YMCA that is adjacent to hotel). I did stay to work out, and then found a 8$ charge on my bill. No one mentioned a charge for working out at the gym. Poor communication lowers rating for otherwise good hotel. Lisez la suite
"Hilton Center City Charlotte- Overall Great!"
This hotel is very lovely. We stayed in a King Deluxe Cityview Suite that was clean, fresh, with a modern and traditional feel. From valet, check-in, room service to check-out, the entire experience was pleasant. Our only "complaint" was that for a lovely hotel and suite, the noise level was a bit high. We were on the 15th floor and could hear people […] from the ground level open area until around 1am. My assumption was a wedding reception, but it was still a bit frustrating to be able to hear. We could also hear our neighbors music and talking, which was also a little frustrating. We anticipated parking fees due to the location in Uptown Charlotte, but do keep that in mind when making your reservation. The fees seem comparable to the area and for us, valet really was worth it. There is a lot within walking distance--a very light walk to a variety of restaurants including Panera right across the street. Just a quick walk up the street to the Epicenter, which comes alive around 7pm, is worth the walk. There you'll find Jason's Deli, Cold Stone Creamery, Mortimer's Pub, Howl at the Moon, CVS, theater, and more. Not necessarily kid atmosphere, but not one that I wouldn't be afraid to take my children. Patrolled by Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department officers who are visible. Overall, we highly recommend the Hilton Center City Charlotte...and the cornflake crusted french toast for breakfast! Lisez la suite

"Very Convenient, but extra charges"
Me and my boyfriend loved the hotel and we were really pleased to find how close it was to so many things. The only thing that put a damper on the experience was the gang murder right outside. You could actually look out the window and see the yellow tape. Very scary for someone who's not from a big city. The other thing that sucked is we drove and […] parked our car in the garage, which was $18 a night. So I would recommend leaving your car or finding another place to park. "Night of the wedding"
We got married earlier in the day, and stayed the night of our wedding at Hilton Center City. It was a great hotel, and our room had wonderful views of the city.
Stayed on the Executive Floor with my two boys aged 12 and 10 - the service staff in the executive lounge was terrific plenty of offerings during the cocktail hour - only complaint is the the breakfast pastries were a tad stale but it was a Saturday and the floor was fairly empty.

The hotel was beautiful..... Everyone was friendly and nice. I booked my room through hotels.com, I read every detail. I understand Charlotte is a very busy city and was going to be a little pricey, But I was not happy with the out come of the stay. Upon checking in I had to give the receptionist my credit card so she can charge me an additional 50.00, […] this was for any charges that I would incur during my stay, for example, renting a movie, room service.. ect... What made me choose the Hilton was, a good location, close to family I was visiting, and the amenities that were listed in the detail of the hotel. My children were looking forward to swimming in the pool, but Saturday it closes at 4:00pm check in time isn't until 3:00pm. And closed on Sunday. WiFi is not available in every room, only certain guests. That information was not given. Along with checking in on Saturday, there was a high school prom going on. I was not informed about that either. These little things may not mean anything to this hotel but they meant alot to me. If I was given the correct details about the room I was booking I could have made other arrangements. Instead just finding out upon check in was disappointing. Lisez la suite

"A GREAT STAY"
I RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TO SATY AT THIS HOTEL SERVICE IS GREAT AND CONVENIENTLY LOCATED CLOSE TO NIGHT LIFE AND FINE DINNING AS WELL AS SHOPPING.
