Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines - La Jolla

Certainement idéal pour un séminaire,mais surement pas pour des vacances en famille. L hotel est vraiment très grand avec de grandes salles,et d immenses couloirs. Rien aux alentours,uniquement de grands noms de laboratoires pharmaceutiques et un hopital . Sinon très calme,c est un Hilton donc bien. Personnel très courtois et attentionné.

Dans un quartier de centres de recherche et hôpitaux, derrière un terrain de golf et Black's beach (pour ceux qui connaissent) mais loin de tout le reste. Voiture indispensable. hôtel correct pour sa catégorie (même si la connexion internet est payante!), un peu morne. Pour familles et business essentiellement

Great room, spacious, with beautiful balcony. They pressed all the groomsmen's men's suits for free. They were very accommodating but there was not a fridge in the room. That was annoying to me.

My reserved 2 rooms. One of our rooms had no small towels. The other room's toilet wasn't flushed when we got there. So we started off on a negative impression. We were busy with lots of activities so we didn't bother to report it; thus I cannot rate on hotel staff service. After checking out, I realized I had left a shirt behind. After 4 phone calls […] with the Lost and Found, they told me that they needed me to pay for shipping the item back. I didn't mind paying for the shirt, but they were very unclear on how it was to be done. Something that should have been easily taken care of took 4 phone calls and 3 days to clear up. the bed was so very comfortable, room was clean & staff very helpful & we had a view of the ocean as explained. The location was very central for where we needed to be. only drawback - we couldn't find the thermostat setting & it a bit stuffy at night so we opened the slider to get fresh air. Stunning location and view overlooking the storied Torrey Pines South Golf Course high atop the cliffs between La Jolla and Del Mar. Rooms are extraordinarily quiet and rooms. Service is Hilton's best.

We were disappointed in the location of our room. We were on the first floor, there was a party of approx 850 ppl which made parking very difficult, not to mention very noisy! There was a barking dog that barked until 1:00 a.m. which made sleep nearly impossible. We had neighbors who were smokers which made it impossible to open our sliding glass […] doors. We were disappointed in the restaurant- the prices were high and the food was not exceptional. We paid a $20.00 corkage and were served our Champagne in wine glasses, instead of champagne glasses.. There was not a refridgerator nor a microwave in the room, which is pretty basic for most hotels, yet not available here. The location of the hotel itself is lovely, but I would be very hesitant to ever stay again. Lisez la suite

My wife and I booked a last minute weekend away. I had been to the Hilton at Torrey Pines for a business meeting but this was my first time staying there. I'm not sure if it was the time of day, but the check-in process took forever. I've never experienced a line like that at a hotel and there was only one college-aged girl behind the counter. Various […] other hotel staff walked by but they either didn't have the staff or nobody that was willing to jump in and help. It was too bad because as a first impression, it didn't set a good tone. Our room was great. We had views of the golf course and ocean. Overall, it was a nice weekend away but they need to address the staffing issue at the front desk. Lisez la suite

lovely hotel....very nice staff...great food in the restaurant. would have been nice to know that they were charging $22.00 for parking. Toilet was running in my room. Was told by Hotel.com personnel that the hotel was a 5 min walk to the beach when in actuality it was a 40 min walk so that was disappointing. But it was a very nice stay.

i ordered a month ahead of time, two queens, non-smoking. I showed up and they had given away my room. They offered a smoking room or a non-smoking with only a king. Fine, four of us in the king bed? They brought in two rollaways. Barely fit. I expected better of the La Jolla Hilton. Parking, what a pain. When you check out traditionally you leave your […] keys in the room or the front desk. At this place, you cannot get your car out unless you have your room key. We were not warned. No one answered the "Help" button. The hotel was pretty good, but I think the rooms allocated to Hotels.com were the least desirable. It felt like we were in the basement. We stayed an extra day and they were happy to move us to room on a higher floor if we booked directly with them. The beds were comfortable and the pool was nice. The restaurant was not good and very pricy. Food was […] soggy (kids pizza), salmon and steak overcooked, and eggs at breakfast buffet were terrible. (Although, the other foods at the breakfast buffet were pretty good.) I thought the rate was high with extra for parking and Internet. We will look for a better place next time. Lisez la suite

Nice hotel. Great staff. Layout is a bit different since lobby is on the 3rd floor and guest rooms are at times below. Could use some improvement but overall pleasant stay.

I whet with my son for one night and had a wonderful experience

The hotels is just besides the Torry Pine Golf Club and even you could walk there by walking distance!! Fresh Air and all environment surrounding are so good!

This was a nice hotel in a convenient location. The staff were great and helpful. Our bathtub did not drain properly and they came and fixed it while we were out.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff is especially friendly and helpful, the restaurant and room service food was excellent, and the view from our room (especially after the rain storm cleared) was gorgeous! We would highly recommend this hotel. Very good value indeed!

Hilton Torrey Pines was beautiful, peaceful, clean and very conveniently located. The location had stunning, memorable views. I would heartly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. An absolute oasis. The staff was genuinely eager to please and easily available without being intrusive. Wonderful hotel.

Could not use WIFI or iphone on the property. We had to have the concierge, Dean, make dinner reservations for us and he was the only helpful person we dealt with going out of his way to get a reservation for us where we received special service.

Although this is a nice hotel it's about 15-20 minutes from down town with traffic. That being said, why do hotels like this still charge for parking. Where do they expect you to park? your not in the middle of a city! If you want a resort this might be the place, but if you want to be close to downtown look elsewhere.

This Hilton has a great location, fabulous view of ocean and golf course. Food was super and great prices. Lovely peaceful place.

Everything was lovely except the beds are too hard!!!

Generally disappointed in this 4-star hotel. If you look in the room details it says view of the golf course. We were expecting view of the ocean. The view of the golf course is past the view of the pool. The most annoying thing was the TV in the room was placed at almost a right angle to the bed so your neck hurt from twisting to see the TV. Super friendly staff and a wonderful place to stay for a quick getaway. This was a bit of splurge for us, but completely worth it.

Although the setting of this hotel is lovely with ocean and pool views, the room was a bit shabby, with knicked furniture and the heating grate with 3 out of four screws in the wall. When my husband turned on the desk lamp, he got a shock. The coffee maker was not plugged in and the outlet for it was behind a marble topped piece of furniture, impossible […] to move. For such a classy hotel, the policy of having to pay extra for WiFi connection in the room and over twenty dollars extra for parking each night was disappointing as well. Lisez la suite

Hotel staff could not have been friendlier. I was here alone since my husband was a patient at the hospital,extremely close. I did not feel funny eating alone because the restaurant staff would stop for a visit at times. My seafood risotto was superb, done perfectly. Breakfast room service had a surprise of a plate of fresh fruit, which was not on the […] menu. It was a very pleasant way to start my day. There is a spa, which was being used often. We stayed 4 days and found the Hotel great relative to location, the Golf Course at Torrey Pines was breath taking, and the service was always ready/available but not pushy.

Friendly staff and great food. All our expectations were surpassed. Especially friendly concierge and bell staff with great personalities. Very, very kid friendly. A must stay if in you are La Jolla especially if your playing golf at Torry.

The hotel lobby and grill offer a stunning ocean/sunset view. All staff members are very friendly, helpful, professional. Rooms are very comfortable. Torreyanna Grill offers best crab/shrimp nachos anywhere.

This is a great location if you plan on golfing at Torrey Pines as it is right next door to the Lodge at Torrey Pines, both of which overlook the 18th fairway/green on the South Course. It's a short walk (about 200 yards) out the back of the hotel to the Torrey Pines clubhouse.

Wonderful hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the setting, being on the 18th fairway of the South course, just beautiful! Can't wait to get back. Thanks for making our long weekend very special!
