Hotel très bien situé à South Beach mais chambre très petite et vis à vis sur autre chambre. La propreté de la salle de bain laissait un peu à désirer (cheveux collés sur la porte de la salle de bain). Climatisation frigorifiante dans les couloirs surtout quand vous devez rejoindre la piscine en maillot de bain ! J'étais un peu scepticle au sujet de cet hôtel, mais j'ai été agréablement surprise. Tout d'abord, tout le personnel est extrêmement sympatique et accueillant. L'emplacement est parfait, juste à côté de la plage et de Lincoln Road. Les chambres sont de grandeur correcte et la salle de bain propres. Le décor est moderne et les lits très confortable. Certainly in the best location! Great hotel with free coffee/tea in morning and free wine in the evening. We really enjoyed our wine while sitting outside on the front patio. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a 4 night stay would go back again or recommend to others. Only negative is that the bathroom is very small.

Great hotel! The bathroom and closet were a tad small but nothing we couldn't live with. The staff was exceedingly personable and the decor was truly lovely.

Nice, pleasant hotel for our visit to South Beach. Hotel was filled with a variety of people - singles, families, couples, etc. Would stay there again.

Updated boutique hotel in a great South Beach location. Just north of a lot of the craziness, but close enough to walk anywhere. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars overall was the room itself. Very nice, clean and good decor, but on the smallish size with fairly small windows. That is a function of the design of the hotel back in the […] day though. That's the way they were built back then! I would have loved a balcony, but it was still a comfortable room with a comfortable bed and a small but cool bathroom with updated fixtures and a modern shower. Service was excellent. We had a small hiccup one morning in the restaurant for breakfast with bad service, but when I brought it to the manager's attention they responded wonderfully with a free breakfast the next day and wine and fruit sent to my room. Really cool pool scene with great poolside bar service. Easy access to the beach out the back of the property. Overall I was extremely pleased and would certainly stay there again. Lisez la suite

Great location, some construction in the area. The room was nicely appointed, bathroom a but small. Grounds and pool lovely. Housekeeping service of the room was very slow, had to call one night at 6pm, to get it made up.

Stayed at the Surfcomber March 25th-28th, 2012. Check-in staff were very friendly and professional. Our initial room was not a ocean-view like we were expecting but after bringing this to the staff's attention, they immediately apologized and got us a much nicer room overlooking the pool with a balcony. There was a big music festival during our stay […] and the Surfcomber was hosting a pool party. Despite the 2000 extra people there for the party, the hotel staff were very composed and seemed to deal with the chaos professionally and in a very friendly manner. Room and hotel overall was clean and appears to have recently been renovated. Bedding was very comfortable and I really liked the Etro bath products supplied. Hotel supplies many complimentary items such as contact lens solution, shaving kits, etc., which I thought was a very nice touch. Hotel decor was really nice and attractive with a modern Asian theme. Free wifi internet (and other discounts) when you join the Kimpton loyalty club, very worthwhile. Went to hotel's Lantao restaurant for dinner one night and had a fantastic and reasonably-priced meal. I would strongly recommend eating there. Great value for the area and the food was delicious. (Loved the Vietnamese sandwich and the ribs.) Considered staying at the Shore Club but I am so glad we ended up at the Surfcomber. Will definitely consider staying here again. Lisez la suite

Now a Kimpton hotel, my four day stay at the Surfcomber proved to be the perfect choice while attending Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach. The staff was well-trained and went out of their way to make certain I was completely satisfied. My one complaint concerning the closure of the hotel's restaurant during an afternoon pool party was immediately […] resolved with the very generous offer of a complimentary meal that proved to be excellent. This is a great, small hotel in the center of South Beach and walking distance to great restaurants, beach walk and all amenities. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was super and the bed is SO comfortable. I loved it and will definitely stay there on my next trip to Miami.

Hotel was overall very nice but probably not quite as sophisticated and luxurious as other Kimptons I have been to (i.e. philadelphia, Boston) The rooms were very small and the bathroom was very small but from what I understand unless you go into a much higher price point in South Beach this is what the rooms are like. I brought my work team and reserved 6 rooms for 3 days of sun, fun, and a little bit of work. We had a great time in South Beach and the Surfcomber Hotel was the perfect spot. It was convenient to many great restaurants, tours, etc. The staff at the hotel were terrififc; they smiled, were very hospitable, and accomodated our requests for early check-in […] and late check-out. A group of us were in Miami on business from March 10 to 16. The hotel was near the Miami Convention Center and we were within walking distance to the shopping district and restaurants. Our rooms were not large but not small either. The bathroom was huge! For the amount of time spent in the room; it was perfect! It was also very quiet at night; our […] rooms faced the courtyard; there were still some renovations going on but we hardly noticed. The pool area was great and the beach just steps away. Everything was great. Such a nice surprise.

Nice location, near all the main attraction in Sobe. Clean and renewed recently. Personnel efficient and kind. I did not use the restaurant, but I see nice plates. Pool cleaned and nice, bar personnel very nice and efficient. My opinion is 5 stars, also related to the expendure and value for money. Thank you Surfcomber for my stay in miami sobe !

Wonderful boutique hotel in a lovely location! The hotel is on the beach, close to Lincoln Road, close to Espanola Way, and close to Ocean Drive and Collins Ave! The staff was as helpful as they could possibly be. Our only complaint was that the hotel is still under construction and the staff is just learning the logistics of how things should work. […] For example, one day our room was missed for room service, however, the maid service brought us new towels as soon as we called. They ran out of coffee cups and coffee one morning and had to run around trying to find supplies. Overall, the hotel was perfect for our stay and we will certainly return if we have the chance. Booked a last minute weekend trip here. All the staff were extremely polite and accommodating. Good restaurant recommendations. Pool and beach side service were terrific. Will definitely return.

While we had a great time staying in South Beach and the location of the hotel was perfect, it was in the process of being renovated and as such the pool area was still in need of some work. Also there was a renovation going on next door so that wasn't great either but the staff was amazing, they couldn't do enough for you and the free happy hour wine […] and morning coffee was great. I highly recommend the hotel but I'd probably wait a few more months until the renovations are complete. Lisez la suite

I chose the hotel since it was a Kimpton property. Found out that while Kimpton now owns and runs it, this was very recent. I'm sure they will get there but attention to detail by management was lacking. Wait a while so they can get their act together.

Good value for the price

We were 2 friends in our 20s looking to get away for 4 days and get some sun. Location was perfect, not quite in the crazy part of southbeach but close enough to the clubs nearby and Lincoln Rd for restaurants and shopping. Pool and beach were very convenient, with full service for food and drinks. Hotel room was small, with no view, but clean and sleek. […] i typically get grossed out by hotel rooms, but this was not the case. My only 2 complaints were that when I called they claimed that there was no construction, but there was loud machinery noise every day by the pool as they were still renovating the cabanas. I was also disappointed when I ordered a salad, which came without lettuce, I asked the waiter to switch the order to something else. He came back with the same salad with added lettuce, which was fine. However, when I got the bill, they added $8 to the order, making it a $24 salad. Otherwise, the service was excellent and everyone at the hotel was very helpful. For the money, this was the perfect hotel for our needs and I'd definitely stay here again. Lisez la suite

The good: Nicely renovated rooms, everything is brand new. Great location. In walking distance to lincoln road and directly on the beach. The not so good: The hotel next door was under construction. Noise early and late at night. The hotel was getting ready for an event (Art Basel) and most of the common areas were not useable incl. the pool area. […] Although the hotel tried to accomadate guests with free beach chairs and use of a neigbor hotel pool I wasn't informed prior of this inconvenience. Restaurant onsite was also closed during the stay. Rooms are on the small side. A hairdryer was not in the room this would be a needed addition. All in all this is a nice hotel.. but I would have wished the hotel would have had the courtesy to inform guests at the time of booking that the outside areas were used for the upcoming event. Since this was one time a year event and the construction looked like to be finished soon this is def a good place to stay if you want to be close to the beach and all the action and have a nice room as well! Lage dea Hotels okay - Zimmer eng und klein - Zimmeraussicht auf weisse Wand an Nebengebäude!!! Klimaanlage laut - eher lautes Hotel. Pool okay. Sehr schöne Lobby.

Trevligt Boutique Hotell med perfekt läge i south beach och bra sevice på hotellet. Återkommer gärna igen och hoppas nästa gång att vi får fint väder så vi kan bada i havet.

Hotellet har perfekt läge nära stranden och nära Lincoln Road Mall. Rummen är ganska små och det rummet jag fick hade ingen utsikt alls, man såg rätt in i en annan byggnad. Lite trist att inte ens kunna se himlen. Hotellet i sig är i dagsläget ett mellanklasshotell i mina ögon, men servicen (gratis vintimme , vatten och solkräm vid poolen etc) gör betyget […] betydligt högre. Helt ok hotell men lite dyrt kanske, men för att vara beach acess i miami är det säkert ok. Det var dock en byggarbetsplats alldeles utanför fönstret som drog igång kl 6.30 på Morgonen. Dyr men bra frukost! gå ut åt vänster 200m o ät på glassaffären istället.

Den usla servicen präglade hela upplevelsen av det här hotellet. Bemötandet från personalen i receptionen var otrevligt och rakt igenom oprofessionellt. Det tog exempelvis tre timmar för oss att få vårt rum efter att vi checkat in. Dessutom fick vi ingen städning av rummet flera av dagarna. Trots uppenbara tillkortakommanden erbjöds vi aldrig någon […] form av kompensation. Hotellet lever på sitt läge. Standarden på rummen och hotellet i övrigt är medelmåttigt. Precis som många av seaside-hotellen på Miami Beach är det väldigt få rum som har någon havsutsikt alls. Jag kommer inte att överväga att bo på det här hotellet och skulle inte rekommendera någon att bo här. Lisez la suite

L'albergo è stato recentemente rinnovato con un design molto curato. Attualmente fa parte della catena Kimpton. Le camere sono un po' piccole ma molto confortevoli. Il bagno è piccolo ma molto bello.
