Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park - Ridgefield Park

Nous étions 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 enfants). Les déjeuners étaient variés. Nous aurions appréciés avoir de la vraie vaisselle pour nos déjeuners. C'était de la vaisselle jetable (pas très bon pour l'environnement).

I though by using hotel.com I would save some money, not so I could of pay alittle less if I would of went there in person and pay.

It was a good experience staying in this hotel, the room was newly renovated and everything was new and clean, good foof, good service, 20-25 min away from Manhattan, only one note that I got the room with the highway view so it was a little noisy, other than that it was comfortable staying.

Middle of Nowhere Under construction and dirty

Allthough we were satisfied with our stay and the staff was very friendly, we were not satisfied with the hotel based on the fact that weve stayed at other Hampton in locations and this location was not comparable and we did not feel that this facility was up to par and or close to what we expected..

Whenever I visit at New York, I tried to stay at this hotel. Everything looks good for me.

the hotel is very good, specially for the price. its not a fancy hotel, but its clean, great bed, great shower, and great breakfast. The only thing, to get into the hotel form the street, that entrance is very dangerous.

We really enjoyed the hotel, had time to go swimming in the clean, bright pool before sightseeing and the location was great to the lincoln tunnel and gw bridge. Would definitely return to this location based on price and proximity to NYC.

Great hotel with affordable price. Staff was very friendly and was helpful with my questions of local establishments. Room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was average but hit the spot when in a hurry. Only downfall I seen was there was no bar in lobby where one could enjoy a drink and socialize after a long day without leaving hotel. Everything about the.Hotel was Great and would tell others about it, but one BIGGEST Problem wad.the.location. One way in one.way.out. The Hotel driveway sit across from a major highway that merges into other. So you have to figure out how to get cross the busy highway without your car being hit. I had to race over to get to the driveway and miss it, […] and tbe traffic carry to me the Gas Station. I had to use their ajointing diveway to get to the.Hotel. Whew what a adventure. The room we stayed in is clean and very comfortable. nice and warm when we came as it was snowy when we arrived there... The food served during breakfast was ok... close to all the must-see sights. Had fun staying there :)

i already stayed almost all hotels around west ny i mean east nj. One of the most quiet,warm and clean place is Hampton Ridgefield. Rooms are so clean and has enough spaces. Hotel staff are very warm and helpfull, Breakfast is really good and has enough choices for early breakfast. You can drink coffee, tea,juices and can eat all fruits anytime Free! But […] 2 bad things are; iron in my room did not work it was too old. And also the hair dryer too. Second thing is the price a little bit expensive. This hotel is close to New York and very clean. The food is excellent as well as the amenities!

we called in a day before saying we would be coming in early. and when we got there they charged use extra. i understand. but when we called they didn't say anything about charging extra. and we asked for NO smocking area. when we got there we got at Smocking Area. i never in my life have i had to write a bad review.

The location is not convenience. It's on a one-way street. The service is great, but the hotel is very old and sort of dirty. I even had some bug bites during the stay in the room. The location is right next to a highway. You can see the transportation noises at night. The TV channels are very limited. No digital TV, but analog with probably less then […] 25 channels. The wireless internet connection is great and stable. The price is fair. But, I was expecting Hampton Inn supposed to be clean and well maintained. Lisez la suite

location of the hotel is horrible, hotel looks and feels very old. smell like old hotel . Seems more like like a cheap hotel than a Hampton Inn. I've visit other Hapton Inn hotels and this is the very last I will visit again. Good service from staff.

We only stayed one night for a concert in the city. The room was very neat and very clean. It was convieniently located 30 minutes from Yankee Stadium. Cleaning staff was very accomodating. We had to wait for someone to open pool after scheduled 9 AM open time but pool was clean and warm.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good. I stayed for family vacation,we really enjoyed.

This hotel is in a difficult location. The neighborhood is rather scary. The staff was pleasant, but the hotel is definitely showing its age. I do not recommend this hotel.

Clean hotel; computers in the lobby kept crashing (loss of power), which was annoying - and only a couple of employees knew how to fix. OVerall, though the desk clerks were very helpful. One of our rooms was across from the laundry room, so it was noisy. Other room was quiet.

we had 3 rooms booked at this hotel, Our son was getting married and we chose this hotel to stay in as it had a pool and its proximity to my sons house. 1st night two floors of the hotel hallways fell in due to unruly guests. When we checked in 1 of the rooms smelt, they had no other suitable alternative, 1 of the other rooms when door was shut it couldnt […] be opened from the inside, health hazard. That i must say was nothing to what we were going to experiance. My daughter who was staying with us exciden tly left her purse in the room. when we got back the pursewas no where to be found after calliung the police the purse was found stuffed behind the bed emptied with no sighn of break in so it wasnt hard to figure out it was cleaning staf who took it. we asked for no 1 to go in our room unless we were there. We were treated like criminals ourselves ignored, whispered about and treated rudely by most of the staff. I think they for got who was the victims here. We had no room service for the rest of our stay and was told to go to front desk to pick up clean towels I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, They shown no compasstion or support to us when all my daughters money was stollen from a locked hotel room, my daughter was a single parent with a 10 month old baby, There staff are unfreindly and some one is a theif there, Also we were bit by flies the carpets were sticky not a pleasant stay Lisez la suite

We chose this location to stay after a recent Yankee game and the next morning we were driving to Hoboken to see Carlo's Bakery (of Cake Boss fame), so this location was perfect. The actual entrance is very precariously placed with traffic zooming off a highway as cars are speeding behind you on another highway...so we had to hope for the best as we […] waited to make our left hand turn. Pretty dangerous! Once inside, however, the front desk associate was very pleasant and friendly. Our room was satisfactory (we asked for non smoking and could detect a faint odor of cigarette smoke). The shower curtain kept sliding down the rod because of its' curved design, so water went all over the floor. Otherwise the accomodations were fine. One note, we LOVED the breakfast, even more so because it is free, but also had a great selection to choose from. Lisez la suite

I go to Ridgefield for business and after staying at other locations, staying at the Hampton Inn was refreshing. I liked so much that it will be my place to stay from now on when visiting the area for business or leisure. The continental breakfast served every morning is excellent and with a lot of choices... loved the freshly made waffles! (Did I say […] breakfast is included in the room rate?) Lisez la suite

This is a wonderful place to stay for the money. Breakfast each morning was very good and different for the 3 mornings we ate there. Easy access to drive across the bridge into NYC. The front desk staff was very helpful!

Found a hair on the bed and could not find the location on GPS. I am disappointed with Hampton.

Stayed here for a weekend for bamboozle at the meadowlands. Not far from the stadium. Great location. Clean. Would definitely stay here again

Very clean. Complimentary breakfast buffet was surprisingly nice. Pool was clean and very warm. A bit difficult to find the driveway entrance. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Complimentary computers with internet access and printer was available for guest usage. The free wireless internet access was a plus, as well. Great place to stay and not spend […] a fortune. Clean and convenient location. On-line reservation had us in a smoking room and we called to request a non smoking room, which we told was not a problem. However, our room smelled like a smoking room.

First off, let me start with saying, this was a satisfactory stay from a lodging point of view. Staff was efficient and pleasant, place is clean, bed & pillow comfy, relatively quiet from inside the hotel as well as outside, despite the hotel being right next to a major route. Overall, a pretty good stay. That, added with complimentary daily breakfast […] with hot items which include instant noodles and waffle machine!!! Really don't think I need to say more. Now, at check-in, we were offered some take-out menus-- BIG "UH OH!". Are there no decent restaurants in the neighborhood?? Or do they all close at 9pm?? Or because this is more of a business hotel? Not ready to accept my fate, we ventured out anyway, but only to meet with the same deathly merge/exit combo on our return (see "inside tips" section for details). I actually tried to go a local route in hopes to avoid this merge, but then i found that unless you're coming up from the south on 95N merging onto 46E, there is NO WAY you can avoid this dangerous entrance. Sigh. In all, except for the immediate surroundings of the hotel which is quite "life-threatening", I have only good things to say about this hotel. If you feel the F1 racer blood boiling in you, be sure to pick this hotel next time and put some thrill into life. Otherwise, good luck. Lisez la suite

Close enough to Manhattan but half the price. If you are driving to NYC, you simply pay the $8 toll for the bridge. Or take the bus. Very clean rooms, quiet, and great breakfast. Only complaint is the turn off for the hotel, perhaps they should invest in a bigger and better sign. Just be careful driving in, they can't seem to drive in Jersey.
