très bonnes impressions de l'hôtel avec piscine intérieure couverte agréable en fin de journée. Malheureusement déçue par les environs de l'hôtel, peu de commerces ou de restaurants. par contre excellente situation à proximité des chutes et de rainbow bridge.

Hôtel très accueillant. La chambre était très agréable et propre. Cet établissement crée la différence en incluant un petit déjeuner buffet varié avec salade de fruits frais. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Ne pas hésiter à réserver.

With the exception of them leaving me at the airport and saying it was my error then later telling me driver didn't know where to go-the stay was fine. The shuttle issue put me behind my schedule to meet friends prior to an event at the arena. It also cost an additional $10 for the cab.
"Hotel-Acceptable! Customer Service-Not so much..."
The Good- Hotel room was nice, clean, and linens were new. Beds were comfortable albeit short? The Bad-Do not rely on the shuttle from the airport. I chose this hotel even though it was further from the arena because I have a Hilton Gold membership and because they have an airport shuttle that was $10 cheaper than a taxi. The shuttle never came to […] pick me up. When I called they put me on hold for 10 minutes so I called back when I thought they forgot about me. They didn't answer. I called 2 more times letting it ring 15 times. They finally answered the 4th attempt. They told me the shuttle had come to the airport and I was not there. Buffalo has a tiny airport. There's only so many spots where I can be by the signs that say "hotel shuttles." I can tell you the shuttle was never there. They said they would send the driver again but it would take 45 minutes due to construction. I told them not to bother because that would mean I was waiting for 90 minutes for them to finally get me so I would have to take a taxi. The taxi took under 20 minutes to get me to the hotel. Once I checked in, they said the shuttle driver didn't know where to go at the airport (aka-never went). The Ugly-Apparently the phone number they have posted on websites is one they do not answer. After an event at the arena, we had difficulty getting a taxi and the lightrail metro was extremely packed. We walked to the Hyatt several blocks away and called the hotel to see if the shuttle could pick us up. Again, they didn't answer either attempt. Finally the Hyatt employee called a number thery had and thery answered that one right away. Not sure what the issue is but if it's a number they do not answewr, why is it the advertised number? To their credit, they did send the shuttle to pick us up. The driver was very courteous and accomodating , took us somewhere close to the hotel where we could get food and drink even though it was almost midnight and made sure we knew exactly how to get back on foot. "Extremely nice hotel personnel"
We spent the weekend in this hotel and every hotel staff member was pleasant, professional and they all seemed very happy. We actually wonder what they put in the water in this hotel to make everyone so jovial in Buffalo in late winter. The hotel was clean and quiet and convenient to downtown (walking distance). I highly recommend it.

The staff was very friendly and reliable and gave us good info and directions on what to do on our stay there. Overall, I would rate my stay there a 10/10

Went to Sabres game. Great location. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, and arena. Awesome hotel cookies as well.

Driving to the hotel I was a little worried about where we were going. It seemed turning into downtown Buffalo towards the hotel was all ghetto, however when we arrived at the hotel it was a complete 180. The hotel was very nice, and so was the staff. The valet parking is totally worth it for 12 bucks a night. The room was nice with a fridge, coffee, […] and comfortable beds. I would definitely reccomend this hotel. The bar was very nice to relax and have a couple of drinks as well. That was like icing on the cake. We went for Bills game, and the Ralph was only like 20 minutes away. "Buffalo Doubletree"
The staff was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable of the area. The recommended two wonderful restaurants and provided shuttle service. Had a lovely experience. The double beds a little small when sharing with someone but no other major complaints.
"Warm Cookies!"
Booked last minute after planning to stay near airport and they were all booked up. Not too much extra driving to here, and easy to find. Neighborhood is a little dicey and there is no hotel parking, but they have a reasonable valet service, and there is a parking garage only a block away that charges a little less. The neighborhood is quiet, but urban. […] Hotel is nestled in a Hospital complex with a major cancer treatment center, so it probably caters to a lot of doctors and patients families. Clean and well appointed for an older building that must have been recently renovated. Stayed only one night on the weekend, but was very, very happy with the accomodations. "Felt like a fake Doubletree"
This hotel is located in the hospital campus and offers a free shuttle around town on a case-by-case basis and a relatively affordable ($18) shuttle to the airport. My room had an old style television, window A/C which did not really work that well-either gale winds of freezing cold air or dank humidity (I was there in July). The bathroom was dirty. […] I complained regarding the bathroom as I was afraid to use the facilities. Housekeeping sent their staff to my room to clean the bathroom. The housekeeper brought a mop but instead used a tissue to pick up the pubic hair that was on the floor. After she left, I used a wad of tissues to wipe the floor, took a picture with my iPhone of the hair-covered kleenex, and showed it to the front desk manager. My new room was much cleaner. The first day's service was excellent. My room was vacuumed, bed sheets changed, etc. However the next night they did not come at all. I was away from 7am until 5pm, and my room was never cleaned. The same desk manager had to clean my room herself. Cleaning rooms is not her job. And she did not really do a good job. But I was checking out the next morning, so it really did not matter. I washed my own tumblers and made do with the products left over in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable-consistent with a doubletree. The hotel also has a really cheap self-laundry facility and a lounge area on its second floor. The shuttle driver and bellman "Johnny D" was a standout among the staff. I stayed here for the NY bar examination and the shuttle to and from the convention center was free and timely. The room was also relatively quiet. Lisez la suite

Though the reservation clearly mentioned breakfast buffet with our stay, the staff argued that it's not included with our stay. Later tried to negotiate it with a complimentary limited breakfast for 2. The next day morning, when we contacted the new representative, she said that was a mistake and offered breakfast buffet for 2 per room. But it doesn't […] even come with bread!! "The Double Tree Club"
A great hotel for those going to the hockey game, just hop on the light rail, and boom, you're at the game! Neighbourhood is a little low-brow, but it's Buffalo. Had a great time with our annual Boy's Trip. Buy some beers at Duty free if you're from Canada and make it a hotel bash after. Rowdiness to a certain degree is accepted, and you get a free […] paper. "Not a bad stay"
The hotel provided shuttle service to where we wanted to go. They dropped us off and picked us up even in snow and were very friendly. They even stopped by a drug store for me so I could pick up some things. Even though we were not happy because we ended up with a smoking room, the hotel staff set up an ionizer in our room when we were out which made […] the room bearable. "Drastically Lacking Customer Service"
I called down for and extra bath towel on Friday evening. Today is Wednesday and I’m still waiting for my extra towel. I called down to the front desk on Friday evening to inquire about how to access breakfast on Saturday morning, (as we paid for breakfast through hotels.ca) and I was told they were busy, they couldn’t answer that question right now […] and would call me back. Today is Wednesday and I’m still waiting for my answer. On Saturday morning, since I still hadn’t received my answer about breakfast I paid extra money for, we proceeded to the front desk to inquire about how to access this breakfast & were rudely told that we didn’t have breakfast included and “You must be mistaken. I already told you that previously”. To whom they had spoken to previously, I don’t know, because it wasn’t me. After going back upstairs to get my printed confirmation page and bringing it back down to front desk with my “proof”, we were given breakfast vouchers for 1 meal, not 2 that I paid for. The following morning, I proceeded down to the café once again to get the breakfast I paid for, and was told that breakfast wasn’t available. I checked out without my breakfast that I paid for. "not even a good stay"
The front desk wasnt attentive towards our needs as guest. When we check-in, we asked for parking options, the agent whom check us in said park it on the hospital closed by(at your own risk) or valet park your car. We opt for the valet. We have requested for a non-smoking room, but was put onto one, we had to change rooms. When we needed our car keys […] for a night errard, they have lost our keys(we have called ahead)- the night agent went with my colleague to pickup the car(and you call this valet service). Breakfast was included in the rate, but the only thing that they offer is porridge which was much and no other options which was very deceiving when booking online. Beds were very comfortable, but being a person who works in the industry this was a disastrous stay and I feel bad for the people that stays in this hotel because of the lack of focus on service. "Buffalo NY Doubletree"
This was one of the most unpleasent stays at a hotel ever. Would have been nice to know the extent of the construction that was taking place. Setting a foundation across the street that woke me up at 8am and then went to excape to breakfast where the hotel was doing construction and had a table saw running the whole time. Also didn't get my free continental […] breakfast the first night and breakfast cost 15 dollars. Finally got my coupon for continenal breakfast the next day and staff was extrememly rude upon recieving this, in fact most unfriendly check in staff I have ever encountered. Then was completely ignored at breakfast and the no aknowledgement was given (ignored for 10 minutes just wouldn't make eye contact, so I helped myself!) Just grabbing silverware from behind their counter and helping myself. VERY DISATISFYED! The location was not very good at all in fact it is about a mile walk anywere worth going. I ended up driving everywhere which kind of eliminated my reasoning for a "downtown" hotel. Also the parking was 10 dollars a day and not 6 as described. Lastly the room smelled horibly of cigaretes and I requested no-smoking. So to sum it up rude staff, bad location, hidden costs, construction everywhere, and the room wasn't even that nice. "Double Tree Club Downtown Buffalo, NY"
This was Thee best hotel stay I've ever had, I go away aprox. 4 times a year. The Front Dest personnel were outstanding, the hotel was clean, fresh and had an air of Welcome. I can't wait to go back!

We were given a double room with smoking. We requested a king, non-smoking. They did switch our room however we should have received what we asked for from beginning. The hotel is nice and we stay there every time we are in Buffalo.

"Hotel doubletree in Buffalo"
My room was very good. However one of our fellow travelers booked a non smoking room and the room reeked of smoke. Several of us remarked how the beds were the most comfortable beds in any hotel we have been in, in recent memory. Parking is a nightmare. But the $10.00 valet fee is well worth it. The neighborhood, a little seedy.

"Try not to stay here"
We arrived at 3:30pm, only to find out that our room wasn't ready. We had to wait with our luggage. The only TV was in the restaurant, and we had to sit at a table that hadn't even been cleaned. We were also not the only people whose room wasn't ready. When check-in is 3pm, the hotel should have rooms clean and ready. The hotel was hard to find, and […] the neighborhood was not good. There was almost nothing around, and you wouldn't really want to walk around there anyway. The only good thing about the location is that it is close to the original home of the buffalo wing. Absolutely loved the courtesy shuttle which the hotel provides for commute to the airport or to downtown. Staff was friendly. Hotel located in the medical campus area. Bathrooms are dingy.

Waiter was very nice, food was not really very good. Had dinner there. Table was dirty and sticky and not wiped clean when we sat down. Valet service was nice, because there was no parking, but an extra $10.00 was expensive. No restaurants around and we left too early to take advantage of the breakfast. "Only hotel in Buffalo with WARM CHOC. CHIP COOKIES"
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The cozy beds, flat screen TV and warm chocolate chip cookies are all he has been telling our friends about since we came back home. We only live an hour away, but come to Buffalo for many events. This was our first time at the Doubletree. When I was searching for hotels for our recent trip to […] Buffalo for a hockey game, the major draw for me was the free shuttle that is offered. It was apparent that this was also true for their Canadian guests that were in town for the game; the shuttle dropped us off directly in front of HSBC Arena just in time for the game! I didn't mind paying for valet parking (although I would have rather had a free lot available) because there are a lot of other inexpensive ways to commute around Buffalo (above-ground subway, inexpensive taxi from Chippewa street). The beds were awesome! AND you did not have to request a frig or microwave, as these are a standard feature in their rooms. Thank you; will be staying there again soon! Lisez la suite

My experience at the Double Tree Club Buffalo Downtown was wonderful. Perfectly located a few minutes from downtown and a straight shot to all of the local Malls. The lobby and the employees of the hotel make you feel warm and welcomed. I took advantage of all of the hotel's ammenities (gym, lounge area and laundry). The staff was very friendly and […] all of the staff are obviously trained in Customer Service. I only regret that I did not purchase a canister of those cookies that they sale in the lobby area. This is a nice hotel. Parking is a nightmare, however the hotel offered valet parking for a small fee. The neighborhood is a little scary, wouldn't walk there at night.

I was surprised when I entered the lobby. Beautiful place. Staff courteous and very helpful. Check in was quick. I loved the warm complimentary cookies. Room is spacious with all amenities. The bed is soft ,clean sheets and very comfortable.

"Awesome"
We were very pleased with the entire experience. The front desk gentlemen were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Beds were fantastic with newer linens, sueded coverlets and several fluffy pillows. We will return every time we visit Buffalo!
