la fenêtre de la chambre donne sur l'hôtel d'en face le Parisien qui est à 2 mètres...On ne voit donc pas le ciel ! Très mauvaise insonorisation : on entend le voisin ronfler. le lit est vieux à ressorts, les draps sont troués tellement ils sont usés et vieille couverture en laine qui pique toute râpée. Pour information cet hotel n'a même pas de réception, c'est l'hotêl qui est à coté qui s'occupe des check-in et check-out. Le hall de l'hotel sert d'agence de location de voitures. L'hotel est un véritable taudis : sale, bruyant et en travaux. Aucune sécurité la nuit ! Personne ne surveille les chambres de l'hôtel. Du bruit constant, des personnes […] qui crient, qui cours et personne ne dit rien. Une femme de ménage qui réveille chaque occupant à 9h00 du matin sans exception. Hôtel super bien placé et bon accueil. Il est joli d'extérieur mais pas terrible d'intérieur. Il est un peu bruyant et assez spécial, de premier abord il fait un peu peur... D'ordre général, on a bien dormi, on s'est finalement senti en sécurité et surtout il est vraiment pas chère !

No frills. No luxury. Continental breakfast was terrible. Very low water pressure but shower was hot. Tv was terrible. Only stay if you just need a place to sleep and shower. Otherwise try to find something else.

This hotel was not very clean the decor was dreary and the towels had hair on them. The fridge in the room was dirty and there were stains on the carpet floor. I had called reception for a towel and I was rushed off the phone. I waited 15 minutes and having not received it, called again. Hotel was clean. Staff friendly. Hookers, pimps and other pond-life patrolled the corridors between about 4.20am and 5.30am slamming doors and shouting at one another. Despite that it still rates higher than Butlins in Bognor Regis!

Would not recommend this hotel to anybody,over priced and really outdated

the pictures are deceiving. There is no place to park and if you do find parking the price is between $16 - $25 for the night. The door to the room did not close so we didn't even need the key to get in. Don't leave anything in the room. We basically rented this room to take a shower and even that wasn't that great as there was minimal water pressure. […] I would rather pay a little extra and get something decent than staying at these cheap places!! The hotel is horrible. Save your money and stay somewhere else. I wish we read the reviews of this hotel prior to booking. I doubt I can write anything new that hasn't been written already. Don't stay in this hotel.

- They says : you have a queen size bed... First of all this room smell like they finished stripping the floor my daughter is asthmatic got home very sick. The room tv did not work or the phone. Assistance changed my room for a worst one. Everything needs to be changed the mattress were old and the bed was falling apart. I give you a zero.

I booked this hotel for four nights and left after the second night. There is no security so the rooms are open to any drunk, mentally ill, or homeless person on the street. My friend and I were woken up at 3:30 am by a man who banged on the door and then just stood outside when we asked who he was and what he wanted. We went to call the reception and […] our phone did not work so I had to use my cell phone. The intruder left after we threatened to call the police and when we called the reception desk on my cell phone - the staff told us to give her a call if he came again. I am also still trying to recover my deposit. I had to go back to the hotel after checking and showing them my bank statement. This transaction has still not gone through (it has been 4 days since I checked out) and the staff refused to give me the manager's contact information. I checked my statement because I had witnessed them try to keep someone else's deposit when they did not have their reciept. They denied having the deposit until the customer found the reciept. Excellent location next to Lincoln Road and ocean drive but if you are into luxury and being pampered this is not the place to be.No-Frills hotel you have a bed and a tv and that's it.If you looking just a place to lie your head while you get into trouble outside then this is the place for you.

Great location/ nasty bathtubs/people is hard to give u directions of the town.

All the rooms are dirty. The bathrooms are falling apart look like it'll be better to go shower at a mud hole! Not worth a dime to stay at a room in there. I feel bad for you if you didnt read the reviews before booking!!!!

The Stay at Geneva hotel was Atrocious. Thethe service horrendous. I couldn't get. My bed sheets for days.. The. The room was beyond sub par. Theoutside view was of trash that the improperly threw at the side of the building. There were holes Dirty carpet filthy bathtub,Defective equipment , cheap towels poor servIce . And I have pictures to prove it […] all. This was the hotel stay from Hell.. They didn't even have my right room prepared for me when I got there.. I wouldn't recommend to anyone... Scarier tenants. The screaming and slamming of doors was a constant... most of the night

The room was nice despite bad reviews, beds were clean, bathroom was clean and fully stocked!! I couldnt find anything wrong like ppl were posting. The staff was very nice, hotel offered cont breakfast. The hotel is older, but considering that it was clean. We plan to stay again, but probly for a longer amount of time. Worse hotel house keeping was only good apart from that everything else was bad.

In short no service, dirty rooms, dirty linen, this place is a roach motel. Some peoples room got robbed while I was staying here. Find somewhere else to stay.

Me and 7 other people made a huge mistake by booking rooms at the Geneva Hotel. Dirty, never had room clean, towels were dirty with holes, bath room dirty, no toillet paper, room was very small, and the condition is very poor. NEVER AGAIN !!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

Fairly simple hotel, good if you need a bed and shower. Upon arrival we had no soap, no shampoo/conditioner and noticed that the shower was stuck on "machine gun." Place served our needs and gave us clean towels upon request. Biggest complaint was that the room keys were barely able to hold their charge more than about 1 hour.

Check-in took 45 minutes due to shift change. Rep still clocked out after an hour without helping anyone. Room looked nothing like the pictures. It was more like a walk-in closet. The bed and/or mattress were ancient, sounded rusty, and squeaked really loudly. TV barely got a few channels. Wi-Fi signal was weak and the connection was slow. Breakfast […] looked old and disgusting, did not go near it. Booking showed no indication of shared bathroom, which was all the way down the hall, and cleaned minimally. Swipe key card stopped working after a day. Totally overpriced. Rude staff. Worst roach motel I have ever experienced. PS - One of the guests next door may have gone missing during our stay, and we heard of an overnight attack in an unlocked room during the week prior to our arrival. Our hotel was located through the back door of a rental car storefront. We had to walk to the hotel next door for check-in. Our room was the size of a prison cell. It smelled strongly of urine. The ceiling had black mold all over it. The walls had what appeared to be dried blood on them, amongst a dozen other foul stains. The only window opened to an […] alley of trash and dumpsters. The front desk of the hotel next door, the Parisian, where we had to check-in "lost" my fiances credit card, denied it, refused to do anything about it, and hundreds of dollars of spending was racked up on it within two hours. first of all i had to check in at another hotel for one, second my room looked ready but when you went into the bath room there was pee all over the seat and hair partials in the shower, the most shocking when i was relocated into the next room i decided to take a nap, when i woke up i was shortly to relize that the bed sheets were full of... how would […] you say bodily fluids that looked like blood.. i left right after that and stayed with a friend that stayed not to far away from my hotel and checked out in the morning. the person in the front basicly told me that sux for you.... i truely think that this place should be shut down. despise the fact that the pictures on the website are all fake, i truly felt disgusted sleeping in this hotel. This is the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed at.the experience was disgusting. Customer service was horrible. The room had blood on the sheets..ac didn't work in the room. The floors were never vacuumed. I asked the front desk to please switch rooms, never said what they told me.and to basically deal with it. Finally got new sheets after asking […] them multiple times. A very nasty hotel with holes in the wall

The location is great!!! The price was good!!! The people staying there were interesting, especially the ladies that were prostituting. I mean, I was a little nervous about it all, but glad I was not planning to stay in the room for the time I was going to be on South Beach. I will tell you this, make sure you take a sheet, blanket, pillow case, wash […] cloth and towel. Their's were not clean at all. It was not what I expected, but I think if I just needed somewhere for my things to be stored and somewhere in a good location, YES!!! Oh yeah, I didn't shower for the first bit of time there, I was too scared. Also, when I got there, I found out they had me in a hostel situation where my bathroom was down the hall. Again, Yuck!!! I don't know why even a website like hotels.com has listed this place, everything is bad about this place including the reception and price. Also early in the morning people were doing construction work making lots of noise on top of our head while we were trying to sleep.

This place was a dump. We didn't know the Geneva and Parisian are pretty much the same. Our room looked nothing like the pictures online. Our room was disgusting. Sure, the beds were made and bathroom was clean, but the carpet was torn up and dirty, the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were flat, and we had to pay a lot more to have our own bathroom […] and shower. This hotel is the cheapest on south beach and has an excellent location. Everything else about the hotel was horrible. The first thing me and my guests saw when we walked into the hotel, after hearing guests complaining about red bumbs they got from the sheets, was a pimp smackin his "girl" around and getting her ready for the next guy coming in their […] room. The beds are very uncomfortable and sheets felt nasty. The shower was barely working and the lighting in the room was very bad, it took me forever to get ready due to the conditions. I felt like I was at a cheap motel street people go to. I will never in my life stay there again. I would much rather stay at a hotel that cost the same, 30 blocks away, and take a cab to the clubs. Hotel was everything we needed at an affordable price, Free coffee and Orange Juice in the Morning with pastry was a nice way to wake up. Stay here for a good time.
