"Overall was Good, but...."
Overall was Good, but too close to Union Pacific Railway. You will hear a lot of train noise.
"Liked the casino but not the hotel"
We love the casino, and selected the hotel based on it. However, we were very disappointed with the room. It was old and not very clean. Could not wait to check out.

"make sure your room is on the right side"
Contrary to what the hotel's website says, there is no free shuttle to the strip, or to the airport. There are a few paid options, however ($7-9 pp). Our room was on the 5th floor, overlooking ventilation fans on the roof of the adjacent building (constant noise), plus the railroad (more noise).
"bar & restaurant inside the hotel w/ nice parking"
Stayed at 6th floor and loved the fresh scent of the lobby. Cannot detect the smoke smell at that floor. Very nice and clean.

"Perfectly Clean"
Reasonable priced hotel, near enough to Fremont Street, but not right on top of it. Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet - at the end of the hall, away from elevators. Shower water pressure was good. Room was pretty big, like many older hotels. The windows open in the room, and if your room faces west, there's a pretty good view of neon. There […] was only one person in line in front of us to check in at 9pm on a Friday night. I like that it is a little bit away from Fremont Street noise, but close enough so it's not a long walk to get there. I'd definitely stay here again. Lisez la suite
"Decent stay if you're on a budget"
Pros: Clean hotel and room. Not smoky at all in room and not too bad the casino. Quaint. Great buffet. Away from the noisy Fremont Experience, yet close walking distance. The front desk was accommodating and changed our room upon request. No resort fee. Ample parking. In-room safe. Cons: Too close to highway as to hear vehicle noises depending on location […] of rooms. No fast food options. Bed sort of low and soft. TV is old and small. Bottom line: I would recommend this hotel for short trips, stopovers, and also if you are a non smoker. If you are looking for luxury and amenities, look elsewhere. Lisez la suite
"great hotel !!!!!"
everything is right there , the food is the best in all of Vegas, and the people can't forget them , they make our stay very comfortable very helpful and friendly. I go to Vegas about 3 to 4 times a year and we always stay a Main St. nowhere else. One drawn back.... parking on a concert weekend must have parking for hotel patrons. Other than that this […] is the place to stay when in Vegas!!!!!!!! Lisez la suite
enjoy this hotel, close to freemont street downtown, brewery was great , food good and beer great.

"Convenience of Hotel room"
It would be nice if it has a little refrigerator and coffee maker. You can charge a few dollars more for the room.

"Outstanding value near Fremont Street."
Huge, spotlessly clean room, very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent (the only meal we ate there, can't comment on lunch/dinner). Victorian decor was a nice contrast to the glitz and glitter of other hotels. Downtown location off Fremont Street means lower prices, but still not too hard to get to the strip hotels/casinos.
"ROOM 411 BRING DUC TAPE AND AIR FRESHNER"
We were given room 411.It was clean and the beds comfortable enough.I heard bad reviews about the bathrooms, specifically showers. But they were fine. Only thing I will mention about the room was it being a bit dusty.I dont think housekeeping should worry about dusting a room.Maybe someone at least once a month could do it?The TV,light fixtures above […] bathroom sink and the air vent in bathroom were noticeably very dusty.Besides that the room was clean. The part that made this room uncomfortable was that 411 is right next to the air vent for the buffet kitchen. And I believe for the casino. As we were in a nonsmoking room and could constantly smell cigarette smoke. We werent in our room in day.Tuesday night was t-bone nite at buffet. The smell was nauseating in room. We were very ready to leave because thur. nite was scampi and steak nite.Dont stay anywhere near 411 Lisez la suite
"Great hotel and casino!"
We had the most relaxing time ever in our 6 visits to Vegas over the past 15 years. The Main St Station is in the perfect location for Fremont and the downtown Vegas experience! It was so handy to just walk 1 block to the start of the activity. No traffic to deal with, lots of police on segways and bikes so I felt very safe in the area. Anything you'd […] like to do can be done downtown and on foot. If you need to get back to your room to rest a bit its a 5 min deal. Our room was a non-smoking king. Clean, well appointed with a large tv and great pillows and linens...slept wonderfully! We drove and parking was easy in and out. If I go back to Vegas again it will be to the Main St Station! P.S. They brew some real ,tasty, beer! A 16oz frosty glass is anytime! Loved it. and soooo reasonably priced! Lisez la suite
"The room was not clean especially around the sink"
There was toothpaste and other splatters all over the wall. I wiped the wall on both sides and it was very brown, dirty. The door to the tub area was dirty also. The time before this when I stayed there I complained about the walls, floors and door in the bath. The cleaning manager came to the room and argued with me that it was there before??? I want […] a clean room where I stay. I think they need training and education on what is clean. Lisez la suite
Needs a breakfast alternative to the buffet.
"Good choice to Las Vegas"
It is very clean and comfortable. Good location, just 10mins drive to strips. It is far beyond what I expected. The only thing I don't like is it is not a pet friendly hotel, actually they hate animals. I took my dog around the hotel, they let us leave the area for several times. However I don't have a choice to stay away the hotel, because I stay here. […] A little sad Lisez la suite

"Main Street Station in Las Vegas"
Hotel is in Downtown and is close to the freeway. It is connected by bridge to the California Hotel. Check out the Garden Court Buffet and Triple 7 Brewpub.
"Main Street Hotel - Good Value"
The price is good and room is clean. The brewery offers good beers and primeribs. The rooms facing the freeway are noisy, so stay on the other side of the hotel if possible.
"Main Street Station Hotel Las Vegas"
The best deal in town. You are a little close to the rail road tracks but the TV or AC will cover up the noise. The rooms are large and comfortable. The buffet is top notch. Free parking. Walking distance to the heart of Las Vegas. I had a minor maintenance problem, It was repaired within 10 minutes. I recommend staying at the Main Street Station H […] otel. Lisez la suite
"Main Street Hotel"
I really liked this hotel. We chose it because we wanted to stay downtown but away from the noise of Fremont Street. This was less than 5 minutes away from Fremont Street, so it was convenient to entertainment but still very quiet. The hotel itself is gorgeous! Beautiful decor and lots of cool antiques to check out. Our room was nice - comfortable […] bed, but could have used better pillows. I liked not having those cheap polyester blankets that you sometimes get in cheaper hotels; instead we had nice cotton sheets and a light cotton blanket. The air conditioner was noisy and the room got pretty warm if we didn't have it on, even though we were visiting in January. The bathroom was a little tight, but fine overall. The room we got was spacious. The TV only has a couple channels, mostly basic cable. I read in a lot of places that the buffet at Main Street is the best downtown. Maybe I'm just not a buffet person, but I thought everything was just kind of bland and underwhelming. The Triple 7 Brewery restaurant was better. I found the food at the California to be pretty bland too, and they are owned by the same company. But if you want really good food, check out Hash House A Go-Go at the Plaza! Really fresh food and you get a ton of food for what you pay. I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you want a quiet, comfortable place to stay downtown. If you are looking for something more exciting, stay at a hotel on Fremont. Lisez la suite

"Main Street Station"
Rooms are large, but the bed was uncomfortable. The Casino part is well taken care of and looks/feels great but once out of the elevator feels more like the shinning. Mostly a decor issue as the rooms are large and have plenty of light and unlike neighbouring hotels the adjustments on ac/heat are more adaptable. The elevators are slow, but there are […] 4 of them, if you drive use the stairs the elevator in parking structure is only good if you have luggage. Plumbing seems dated the water in shower would shoot from boiling to luke warm then back in seconds. Some people complain about the noise on the freeway but compared to the noise on freemont st its not bad at all. Lisez la suite
"it was like an antique"
i really liked it. i went for my sis 40th birthday party. and it was a great ballroom. the wood finish all over was amazing . i recommend the hotel but not the catering.
"Need a clean downtown location-this is for you"
If you are looking to stay in the downtown area this hotel is a great option. The rooms are very basic but clean and comfortable. However, if you are sensitve to cigarette smoke this may not be the best location, although non-smoking floors are available you will be hit with a wave of smoke everytime you come through the hotel lobby. Some hotels/casinos […] do a better job than others at filtering the smoke and unfortunately Main Street was on the low end in this regard. Guest services were very helpful and did arrange for an extra early shuttle to the airport. Lisez la suite
"if you like downtown..."
then Main street station is a great place to stay. I did not like downtown Vegas much--dark, old, cramped, slightly seedy. I much prefer the Strip or even the new places south of the strip. This hotel does have a great brewery--VERY fun place. Good food, lively.

"Main Street Casino-Las Vegas"
Great place to stay. It is just across the larger California Club Casino connected by an enclose overhead foot bridge which makes it easy to go from one casino to another to gamble or eat. Also the casino is next to the freeway so we could see it as we drove on the freeway . The buffet was out of this world..
"Main Street Station Hotel - the old railroad depo"
We loved our stay - also the idea of the old railroad depot with saving as much of the history as possible in the interior decor and items. Great history and a convenient location for enjoying Fremont Street area. Also, secure parking. Also, a great price. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. and would stay again when in the area.
"Main Street Station in La Vegas NV"
Had an excellent stay.(2 nights).. very comfortable bed!! Hotel is next to RR tracks so there was a little noise from occasional trains, but not too annoying. The 777 sportsbar/restaurant had extremely good food..This is a very good place to stay off the strip, and it is right next to the Fremont St activities.
"Good for hotel downtown"
If you like being downtown, it is a good location. No frills or thrills but a nice enough place to sleep. We stayed in a non-smoking room but there was still a hint of old cigarette smell.
"Downtown"
Love this place and the California hotel connected. Great food, cheaper tables, clean rooms, not as crowded. The only drawback is that it can be a little smoky.
"Main Street Station - a gem in downtown Las Vegas"
The Main Street Station is a great place to stay. The rooms are very nice, roomy, well decorated and well kept. The Garden Buffet is great. There's something for everyone, the price is very reasonable and the service is friendly and attentaive. As for the gaming, it is varied with games of every denomination, a selection to keep anyone busy. Finally, […] it is in downtown and that means that you are right in the middle of all the Las Vegas action and excitement ! Lisez la suite

"Location, location, location!"
Main Street Staion is easy to get to, easy garage parking, fast check-in process, and best of all, only 2 blocks from the Fremont Street Experience!
The room looked out over the air conditioning units/generator things and was extremely loud all night with the motors running.
"Main Street Hotel - Las Vegas"
Got a false fire alarm - had to rush down to ground floor from top floor. The stuffs at lobby seemed careless. Stain on the towels. Otherwise fine.
"Nice"
Close to Fremont Street Experience. Nice rooms, good for the money. Great buffet...had fun.
2nd time I was there in one month and I still like the hotel. I don't smoke so the faint smell of smoke in the casino took a while to get used to. The think I liked the most about the room was the bed and bedding. The bedding was simple, light, and it was all very very white. I felt like I had a clean bed!!!!! The buffet was not the best I have ever […] had, but for the price it was good. No internet in the rooms, but is an area to go to and get connected. Lisez la suite
