Tous les hôtels à Washington"No one does it better then the St. Regis"
We attended a Bar Mitzvah over the weekend and the hotel did an amazing job with the festivities. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were incredibly gracious. Location is superb. Only item lacking was a Nespresso machine which would have been a nice touch given that the rooms didn't have a coffee maker. Other than that everything was provided […] as expected. I would stay there again on my next visit. Lisez la suite
"Room not what I ordered..."
I ordered the Metropolitan Suite and was given a deluxe room. I will never book at this hotel again. The staff were really judgmental of me and my friend who stayed and the house keeper thought that the two of us were a gay couple (not kidding). I will never stay here again...

"St. Regis-Washington DC"
Convenient location for seeing the sights in Washington, particularly the White House. You can also walk to several others from here. The room we had was very nice and was comfortable. However, the bathroom floor was not as clean as you would expect it to be in a hotel like this. Staff was very friendly, however, when we requested a refrigerator for […] the room, none were available the first night of our stay. The refrigerator made so much noise it was difficult getting to sleep. We had also requested extra pillows which took several requests to finally get. Concierge services were okay, but for a hotel of this stature, did not appear to have the concierge who could get you into the crowded restaurant. Breakfast in their dining room, far too expensive. We went to the Old Ebbitts Grill for breakfast which is a short walk from the hotel. We saved $10 a meal by doing so. Doormen and car parking services were excellent and very efficient. "Impeccable service, great D.C. location"
I chose the St. Regis for its proximity to downtown D.C. areas/activities for 4th of July - and for it's history. It was even more elegant than I had hoped, but the real differentiator is the service level of the staff! Everyone - doormen, front desk, lounge area, turndown service - was over-the-top helpful. However - the Concierge made our stay! Ms. […] Leslie Valtin secured dinner reservations 2 nights, recommended lunch, supplied hard-to-get tickets so we didn't have to wait in lines or miss something. And she scoured the city to get spa appointments for my daughter and I at the last minute during a holiday. Cannot wait to return to D.C. - and stay at the St. Regis! Lisez la suite
"Wonderful hotel near White House"
We were only in DC for a few days and this hotel was wonderfully convenient. After a day seeing the sights in the hot humid weather, it was wonderful to come back to this lovely hotel and have a cool drink in their bar.
"A OK in DC"
St. Regis never fails to disappoint. Despite the $47/night parking, it gets an A in just about every way. The only negative I can think of is that the hotel only does cold menu items for late night dining (11 pm - early morning). It's easy to walk across the street to PJ Clarke's or get a menu sent up to the room for a local food joint, but it would've […] been nice to not deal with this one minor hassle. In either case, can't be the location or overall quality of service. Lisez la suite

"Very Solid"
The rooms and bathrooms are a little small but it is fine for a brief stay. The service was good. The room was very comfortable.
"My first time was the last time"
Unfortunately, I must say that The St. Regis Washington, D.C. was the most unpleasant hotel stay I have experienced. There were a few bulbs out in my room (in particular the bedside lamp), the bathroom lighting was dim, and most importantly, I found a few members of the staff to be quite unfriendly. I was most put off by the receptionist I encountered […] while checking-out, who not only looked dissatisfied with her job, but never once smiled and whose "How was your stay?" sounded more like a reluctant routine. It is uncommon for me to write such a review, but my experience must be shared for the benefit of potential guests and the hotel's staff. Adour's food and staff, however, was excellent. "Nice Place"
Phoned down at 2am for extra blankets and we had them in less than 5 minutes. Excellent service!
"DON"T Waste your Time or Money"
Too much to say so I'll outline. Got handicapped room but do not need one Shower floor built wrong - flodded bathroom and hall Spent 1/2 day getting moved to a new room Hotel engineer said he would report flooding AGAIN When asking for new room front desk said we had been upgraded and could not promise same Delux King Checked reservation, found I had […] paid for a DELUX KING! Left roon in a hurry to save the rest of the day Left Cpap machine cord behind Reported it right away but could not get it back House keeper left it in her cart and took two days off They call us after we left and will send it to us so we will get it when we go home, in a month, thanks? Went to breakfast, ordered an omlet, got an omlet nothing else, like toast? Wife ordered french toast, same thing only cold. Breakfast cost $58? Thats right $58. Got omlet, french toast, 2 coffees and 2 OJs. But when cofee is $12 per cup it adds up fast. New room over looking the dumpster and new neighbors, BIG RATS. On the good side; The music from the ballroom below us was OK until about 11:30 The door men were nice Georgia Brown resturant one block away was good and you dont have to stay at this overpirced stuffy hotel to enjoy it. "Excellent Hotel"
Very nice hotel. Nicely maintained. Beautiful rooms. Accommodating staff. Liked the TV in the bathroom mirror. The fitness facility, however, was small.
"This place is top of the line -- couldn't be better"
stop reading this and book it
"Great luxury hotel"
Very swanky. Great staff. Close to everything.
"Attention to details"
I was so impressed with the details. I enjoyed this stay very much.
"Opportunities missed"
My husband and I checked in on the afternoon of July 4. There was no attempt made to let us know about the independence day celebrations in our nation's capital although the hotel is located very close to the White House and the National Mall. In addition, we were attending the Tiger Woods tournament on Sunday. There was no attempt made to find out […] if we needed directions. Finally, the only piece of information the hotel registration person solicited from us, which newspaper we wanted, went unfulfilled with no explanatio or offer of an alternate paper. These elements wouldn't be a concern at a lesser hotel, but they should be a matter of course at a five-star luxury hotel. Lisez la suite

"Stinky mattress/bedding on the pull out, no coffee in room"
For a 5 star hotel, I was frankly underwhelmed. The staff was awesome, the lobby and guest suite very pretty, but the lack of a coffee machine was not what i would expect, and the pull out was moldy. They didn't have 2 queen beds. I think its not a great place if you are travelling with a kid or 2. I will say, however, that its great to have a bathrobe […] and 12 year old scotch in the room upon arrival! Lisez la suite
