Très bon accueil des propriétaires et chambres spacieuses avec espace cuisine. Parking gratuit. Proche des commodités et du walk of fame.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Hollywood ,parking gratuit,connection internet moyenne dans les chambres meme si elle est gratuite,petit dejeuner compris et copieux,un frigo mais pas de coffre fort.Personnel très sympathique le seul bémol c'est que même les chambres non fumeur sentent le tabac froid sinon dans l ensemble séjours agréable pour 2 à 3 nuits maximum,ah oui petite piscine pour se détendre et ça aussi c'est toujours agréable .

Très bon compromis: qualité/prix, emplacement idéal à 1minutes à pied du Kodak Theatre et à la fois dans une rue calme. Jardin sur le toit très bien aménagé, piscine agréable, petit déjeuner délicieux (mention spéciale aux muffin), chambre grande avec cuisine, parking fermé - Bref ravis de notre séjour (4nuits). Les petits bémols: murs fins car vieux bâtiment et penser à demander une chambre sur cour et pas sur rue (c est quand même Hollywood Boulevard dont on parle : y a de la vie!!). C'était très bien!! Vraiment

Hotel classique au niveau des chambres. Parking assez grand. Bon avantage sur le placement à 2 minutes à pied du métro et à 5 minutes en voiture d'Hollywood Signs, des étoiles d'Hollywood Blvd, 15 minutes d'Universal Studios, de Sunset Strip, 30 minutes sans bouchon de Venice Beach et Santa Monica. Méfiance tout de même dans le secteur de l'hotel à la tombée de la nuit mais c'est pas non plus Bagdad...

"Nice"
The Marriott on Figuroa is the best for a stay in downtown. I got a free upgrade to a mini suite without even asking. The access to the financial district and it's restaurants is superb. Go to the Pantry for the best roast beef dinner you will ever get for 12.95 bucks. It four blocks south.
"Marriot downtown"
pleased with the size and views of the corner suite. large windows from the floor to the ceiling were nice. But the furniture was badly dated and a bit worn out on the edges. But friends and i were there to enjoy ourselves and did so at a fair price.
"Marriott Figueroa"
This is a safe hotel and a great place to return your Hertz car before exiting LA...close to trains and within walking distance of that whole Downtown LA thing that only the initiated can understand....rooms getting tired and cost of rooms rising but staff always work hard to help the guest.
"Convenient location but outdated"
The hotel is centrally located in downtown LA, but is outdated. I needed to use the public telephones, I asked to the Lobby personnel, they send me over where the telephones used to be and there were strip out. Honestly, poor ratio dollar/service.
"Bad service"
I arived 11.50 PM. The bar was closed, there was no minibar, no roomservice and the water tasted bad and I could not buy a bottle of water or something to eat not even snacs. Nothing. I clamed and there was a man in the bar - but he would not sell me anything because it was closed.

This hotel is desperate need of a makeover. It is very dated but for what I come to LA for the location is perfect. It is a truly mediocre hotel.

Loved the close proximity to MOCA, downtown library (beautiful) and good restaurants. 1 criticism: windows were dirty, otherwise clean and classy.

In my opinion this room was overpriced, the parking was overpriced and the staff at the check-in counter gave me terrible service. And two months after my stay, this hotel ran up a room's rate charge on my credit card which my bank is currently contesting because I was at home in Tucson when the charge was implemented. "noisy nite"
We stayed on a Saturday night. A young couple in the adjacent room argued for an hour before we called security. The man was asked to leave but returned about ten minutes after security left. Another argument ensued and I had to call security once more. I don't know what the hotel could have done but I didn't get to sleep untill 3:45 a.m. I've stayed […] in this hotel many times and will most likely stay again but this was a bad experience. "Good Hotel conveniently located - smelly towels!"
The staff at this hotel were friendly and the room was spacious enough. It is conveniently located. The only drawback was that the towels never smelled clean!

"the Bar"
I happened to be staying at the hotel during the NHL draft time. Later in the evening, i was at the bar with many friends having a great time. Well, some persons related to the NHL were there as well. Last call was mentioned by the bartender and we were given the beers we ordered with some argument. I asked if i could order more before he closed and […] he told me NO, you get what your going to drink now. Well, after a minutes passed, I see that the bartender had stacked three buckets containg about 6 beers each with ice in them on the bar. I inquired and was told they were for the NHL guys. Was very disappointed obviously. I could afford 5 dollar beers like them but was given the same hospitality. Spoke to night manager who could not give a direct answer on why they were given this service and said I needed to speak to the food manager... Horrible excuse. I ended up bringing my ice chest from the room and drank my own beer. So, if you don't have the big name or look like you got money, expect your service to be somewhat SHADY! Lisez la suite

The Downtown Los Angeles Marriott was a perfect hotel for our 2 night stay. It is right off the highway and there is easy access on/off the highway. We wanted a quality hotel close to Dodger stadium and we absolutely got it. "Paper-thin Walls"
Loved the service - front desk was great. Room was spacious and comfortable. However, the walls were paper-thin! We could hear the conversations of the people in the next room! The people in the adjacent room stayed up all night; needless to say we had a terrible time getting any rest that night. The hotel and room looked nice and clean. Even though I stayed on a busy Friday night, the parking rate was ridiculous and the only way to park your car is through the hotel's valet service. The next morning, it took 35 minutes to get my car from the valet. "ok for what I paid"
My stay at the Marriot was ok, it wasnt what I exspected. Im not a peeky person but some things bothered me like...The parking was 30 bucks so we had to park somewhere else to avoid the fee, that sucked especially when we drove 8hours! "Good if you don't drive"
OK the room, the hotel, the service was great. Simply fantastic. The only thing is that once you pull up to get your stuff out, your kinda stuck paying $30 parking per night. And they are very selective about saying its per night. Park somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!! Say no to vale!

"Fabulous"
I stayed here only one night. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious and I wish I could have stayed there several days and escaped from work. They had complimentary breakfast on my floor and a nice robe in my room. Very spacious.

The rooms have not been updated since the 70's. The TV is old an junkie and barely works. There are about 20 channels total...and the movie ordering didn't work for most of the time...when it did work it was a million dollars per movie, and the TV buzzed the whole time the movie was playing. In addition...parking very expensive, and they charge you […] per night per car to stay at this hotel, and there is no other parking option. "Needs improvement"
Convenient location. Good hospitality. Nice hotel from outside. But rooms were small, smelt of mildew, and the curtains were designed not to close. Only the sheer part of the curtains was allowed to close, so the sunlight shined through in the early morning=( But it did the job for the one night.
