"not bad"
hotel was ok...clean and functional. Breakfast was weak
"Good for the price"
The beds were only OK on the comfort level. The hotel only has a little sign on the main road that is visable, and has a large sign that is lost in sight due to the clutter of other business' signs. HOWEVER, there is a mexican restaurant across the street that is PHENOMENAL!! I have lived in Southern California my entire life, and have been spoiled […] with EXCELLENT Mexican food...this place produced a plate tied for the best Mexican meal ever. So it is worth it to say here just to walk across the street to casa fiesta with the ridiculous glowing palm trees out front. Lisez la suite
"Labor Day weekend at Cedar Point"
The hotel was very nice. I booked a king room but when we went into the room it was set up as a conference room. We ended up in a queen handicap room because there were no other king rooms available. The room was nice and we did get a discount for being put in a different room. I was not impressed with the information that the hotel offered. There was […] no "binder" with local resturants, attractions, movie channels etc. Also, there was only one small sign in the breakfast area that said when breakfast was and we ended up missing it almost every morning. The last morning we were there my boyfriend went down to see what they had while I packed and he said that it was some packaged donuts and other cold breakfast stuff nothing that great. The pool area was nice and the hot tub was very nice. My only complaint was that the tile on the wall of the hot tub was falling off and there was sand in the bottom of the hot tub. Overall, the hotel was honestly very nice and was about half an hour from Cedar Point. I would definately stay there again!!!! Lisez la suite

This was a great hotel, with awesome customer service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay for a great price.
"OK, could be better"
Overall the hotel was not very clean; I mainly attribute this to dirty carpets that do not look like they are vacuumed on a daily basis. The bed linens did not seem very clean as well. There was a musty odor throughout the hotel and a very disturbing smell when we turned on the air conditioner. The room was very small and there was barely enough room […] to turn around in the bathroom, this is coming from a 5'10", 150lbs man. The workout room is very tiny and only the treadmill was operational. The pool was OK but again, very small. The front desk people were very nice and easy to do business with which was the highlight of our stay. I must say, whoever took the pictures of this hotel did a fabulous job as it was an OK place to sleep and that is about it. Lisez la suite
The room was very clean! But not what we expected it to be. It was close to our vacation loction. By if your looking for something really nice. Find a better hotel in Sandusky. But overall it was a great place to stay!
"Definitely Worthwhile"
The last hotel we stayed at in this area had bugs and cobwebs in the room so we decided to up our price range a bit to get something nicer. This was definitely worth the additional money. The room felt homey and comfortable. As well as very clean! The 30 minute drive to Cedar Point was well worth it to have a nice hotel to come back too.

"Convient to Cedar Point"
I got this deal on sale last minute. It was a better deal than hotels in Sandusky. The hotel was pretty easy to find from Cedar Point at night. The service was nice, and the 2 rooms were clean. One room had no microwave or fridge. Breakfast was HORRIBLE! Stale cereal, non-cooked eggs, bad coffee...eat at McDs close by!

This hotel was great. It was located not far from Cedar Point Amusement Park. Staff was great and hotel very clean. Pictures accurate.

Hotel employees were very kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and in very good shape. Nice indoor pool. Several fast food restaurants within walking distance. Only suggestion is to change the TVs that are a bit old.

"Unsatisfied"
We were given the wrong type of room and they had no rooms to switch us to. One of the blankets had a huge red stain on it and the freezer door in the mini fridge was broken. They eventually compensated us for one night's stay. I have been disappointed when staying here in the past also.
"awesome service depending on who's up front"
The air conditioner/heater didn't work in the first room then they moved us to another room and the safe didn't work and no one could figure out how to fix it. The first front desk laddie we had was great even with the room move situation, but the second one could have cared less about anything she was out back smoking more then anything people were […] always ringing the bell and she was either too far away to hear it or finishing her cigarette was more important. Plus she did nothing to clean the breakfast room in the morning the trash was over flowing, things were running out, plus she would never make more complimentary coffee that the sign said was free 24hr. once it ran out that was it for the rest of the day. "this is a great hotel"
everything was in working order at the time of our stay. Everything was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Since it was raining could not go to the racetrack.
"Nice Mid-level hotel"
Room was clean. Beds comfy. Breakfast could have been better - same thing three days in a row. For what we needed - a place to sleep after a long day at CedarPoint - this hotel fit the bill.

"Great room for the money"
Was very pleased considering what we paid for the room. After reading horrible reviews for the hotels near Cedar Point (close to the park) decided to stay here. Rooms were nice, clean, front desk was very friendly. Didn't use the pool or hot tub but looked clean. Modest continental breakfast but for free what can you expect. We stayed in The Best Western Norwalk August 26 ,as we arrived late and left early next morning I cant really comment on service etc,but what I can tell you is ,although basic in style the rooms are spotless .We travelled to Cedar Point the next morning after leaving the hotel and made the journey in an easy 30-40 minsI would consider this hotel if […] you were looking for a clean ,basic hotel within driving distance of Cedar point. "needs improvement"
This hotel was very conveniently located. The price was also right. The staff, however, were not exactly friendly. There was only one person on staff (as far as I could see) during our entire stay. Maybe the employees would be nicer if they had some help!!!

"2nd time this year"
It was, once again, what I expected. Hostess was more than accomodating. When a refrigerator truck pulled in at the back of the building where we were, Mary moved us. If I go tht way again, I'll stay there.
"So Noisy!"
The hotel itself was okay for the money. The rooms were spacious. But my stay was SO NOISY. I could hear people banging/walking around above me through the ceiling. In the morning, I heard lots of people walking around, slamming doors, talking, and running vacuum cleaners. Every few minutes I heard people yelling "HOUSEKEEPING" while banging loudly […] on the doors. They knocked on my door 3 times alone before noon - and noon was the checkout time. The continental breakfast was nothing special at all...and the pool was locked, so I was no able to go swimming (even though it was during pool hours). The bed was not very comfortable and I had to use all 4 pillows just to get some support. To be honest, it was more like the "Worse Western." Lisez la suite
"Excellent"
I was here overnight for business, and this hotel was great. It was clean, comfortable, and for the price it was hard to beat. I wasn't expecting anything great, and was more than pleasantly surprised when I checked in. I will definately stay here again.
