Very chic hotel. Lobby was cool, rooms were smartly decorated. Staff was very helpful. Great location, within walking distance to everything. The only downside was that our bathroom had a musty smell. Other than that, everything was great!

At first glance, Waikiki Parc Hotel looks like an upscale, nothing but the best hotel. The check in went flawlessly, however when we got to our room, that is a different story. The room was small, there was potato chips on the floor from the previous guests and the bathroom smelled like mildew and urine. We immediately went back down stairs to talk to the manager. He told us that he would look at the room himself and send someone to clean it. I suggest that we wanted another room, but he said that the hotel was full and that was not possible. I know that there were rooms left because they offered an upgrade to the couples checking in next to us. After they "cleaned" the room we went back and did not see any chips on the floor, but the bathroom smelled like it was still unclean. The manager never called or asked us if everything was okay with the room during our stay. We decided to deal with it and let everyone else know about our experience.

We chose this hotel because of its location near but not on Waikiki Beach. We had a view of the ocean and a shady balcony. Lots of restaurants nearby, including Orchids where we enjoyed a spectacular dinner. The desk allowed us early checkin, so we could catch up on sleep after an overnight flight. The tech staff was very helpful with wifi, and as concierge with useful info. We appreciated the extrasecurity of using the room key in the elevator.

This hotel had a great location. Was walking distance to all the sites in waikiki. Right next to a trolly and bus stop for anything else in honolulu. Pool was not great but beach is less than 100 yards away. Would recommend walking a little down the beach toward diamond head for softer sand with less shells. Hotel offers free rentals for boogy boards, chairs, surfboards, and floats...saves a lot of money, but have to get them before they run out. Like every other hotel in waikiki, can hear morning traffic and service vehicles. Not an issue for us, would not trade location for less noise.

The hotel itself was great. The staff was even better. The only minus was the noise (car alarms, trucks backing up). Even with that, i would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel has become our instant favorite. We were greeted with friendly service from day one. We fell in love with the hotel's sleek modern style. Our room, refreshing and soothing. Everyday we looked forward to our bed. The location of the hotel is perfectly away from the busy main street of Waikiki. A walk away is the ocean. We had a happy stay.

Convenient, comfortable room and concierge and hotel personnel were very friendly and accommodating. Love staying on Waikiki and being so close to the beach. Beach view pretty good, but buildings kind of in the way. Did not like the restaurant.

It was a small hotel. There is basically no front lobby. Parking was expensive and inconvenient. The parking lot was tiny. Self parking was about 2 blocks away and it was $10 per 24 hours. I stayed at the ocean view room but the view was pretty dissapointing and we ended up keeping the blind shut all day. The hotel is close to everything including Waikik beach. The staffs are very friendly and nice. Overall, I was happy with my stay at Parc hotel.

Boutique type hotel. Modern decor, clean and simple, adorned by color. Convenient to Waikiki Beach. Hotel staff exceptionally polite. Would come back again. Room a little tight for 4 persons, but not a problem with a 3 day stay.

If you are on a budget this is a nice hotel that is close to the City life in Waikiki. Pool is a bit of a disappointment on the 8th floor of the hotel with views of other buildings. My Deluxe Mountain view room was really a view of a couple parking lots with the Mountains in the background behind the high rise buildings. Can't really leave your lanai door open because of the City noise. Room was very clean, maid service excellent. If you are used to the Royal Hawaiian or Moana Surfrider this will be a disappointment, but...it was a good value for the money. If you are looking for a romantic tropical get-away this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a nice bed with great soft sheets and you don't believe in spending time in your room, this is the place for you.

Since this hotel is located directly behind a couple beachfront hotels, the price seemed to be lower. My Wife and I spent part of our honeymoon in this hotel. We had a great view and they even gave us a gift for being on our honeymoon. The concierge set us up with a great Luau. They had places to check email and print boarding passes. The breakfast downstairs was very good and reasonable. Pool wasn't as great as the pictures, but you don't need a pool when you have a beach 3 minutes away.

This trip was our first time ever in Honolulu and we booked our whole trip online. We reviewed tons of hotels and were not quite happy about the decorations of many of them. This hotel however is very modern and chic. We loved it! And the price was right. The parking is free, although the valet told us it is $20/day. They have a good deal for breakfast which is served in the Nobu restaurant which we found to be very exquisite. Although the hotel is not on the beach, it is like 50 yards away and in the middle of everything. We had dinner at Kaiwa restaurant and recommend it wholeheartedly. We didn't have time to check the pool and Lanai but I am sure that they come in handy if you are staying for more then 4 days. We will most likely be back.

Room rather sparsely furnished, but adequate. Lanai was frequented by birds and was only cleaned once during our 4 day stay, the day we were leaving. Billy at the front desk was especially helpful in resolving computer issues. Nice pool and fitness room.

The hotel is only 1/2 block from the beach. Nice pool, friendly staff. We stayed here 2 years ago also. Only complaint is the beds are hard. I requested foam on the bed which made it much better. The manager told us they are getting all new beds in a couple of months.

Perfect location to explore either downtown waikiki or walk the beach, the pool, due to its location, did not get any sun at all, so if a pool is on your priority list, this isnt the hotel for u. Famous sushi restaurant "Nobu" is inside the hotel!!! Check it out if you're a sushi lover. Great views from the rooms!

We stayed two nights in Honolulu - one at the beginning of our trip to Australia and one at the end. We decided to splurge on the 2nd one, since it was Christmas Eve, and chose the Parc. What a disappointment. The room was musty - worse than any third world resort I've stayed at, the bed was uncomfortable, and the room was quite dated. Save your money - stay at the Waikiki Prince Kuhio instead - it was half the price, and measureably better than the Parc.

This hotel is modern and esoteric, very clean with a spacious room. The ocean view room looks over the historic Halekulani Hotel, with the only complaint that it is also on the service road for the Sheraton Waikiki, so quite noisy in the early morning. Valet parking a plus in the heart of Waikiki, with many mainland type restaurants next door. To experience the graciousness of Hawaiian hospitality, walk across the service road to the Halekulani's House Without a Key, or the piano bar, or tea.

Only two negatives for our stay. 1. No vending machines (just cannot breakdown and spend $4.00 for a can of soda from the room refridgerator) 2. The Front Desk man was very rude, everyone in our party, and those standing near us, were shocked by his attitude when asked a question. Everything else was awesome! Maybe he will not be working the day you check in!

The staff was great and the location can't be beat. 1 minute to shopping and beach. The only thing I didn't care for was the bed. But other than that, this hotel was a fantastic choice.

Hotel and room was trendy/modern which is different from most hotels in Hawaii. I liked staying here. The only thing I didn't like was there was no food service. They stopped serving food at 6:00pm which is not very convenient.

Convenient Wakiki location. Overall a pretty good value. Breakfast was adequate but not worth the price.

My wife and I really enjoy our stay at the Waikiki Parc Hotel. We are in our Twenties so the modern upscale feel of the hotel was up our alley. The free breakfeast had just the right amount of food to get your day going in Hawaii. I would recommend this hotel I anyone looking for a nice, low key, wonderful hotel.

When we first arrived to honolulu, I was not sure how run down the area or our hotel would be. I was very surprised when I saw the surrounding area was recently re-done to include every high end designer you can think of, all within walking distance of the hotel. Not only was our room clean, but the staff was friendly and the service was EXCELLENT. We were less than a five minute walk from the beach and some of the best restaurants honolulu had to offer. I believe we got a great deal and it only amplified our extremely enjoyable experience in Waikiki.

Friendly staff, and veryeasy to checkin. Parking wasn't bad either. The recent road contruction on Kalakaua St. just before the turnoff to the hotel made a short trip getting there very long. Also the hotel's location is great. It's one block from the beach, but unfortunately surrounded by several other hotels, so a ocean view also comes with a view of other looming hotels too. Finally, the hotel elevator didn't want to read hotel keycards properly (so you can choose your floor). Other than that, this is a great hotel if you prefer a chic/modern look. Very much a young couples, young person style hotel.

This hotel is right on the Waikiki beach. I wish it would offer more dining solutions though, but the location is wonderful--the room is kind of small, but very clean, and the staff are very helpful!

The best breakfast in town. The walk to the beach is only 40 yards. The rooms are very clean and the staff very helpful and nice. The only bad thing was the trash trucks coming at 5:30 in the morning.

There was constant noise going on due to construction on the neighboring hotel. The construcion was being done during the wee hours of the morning and it was very disturbing. We did not get much sleep, and we were exhausted the whole time. The rooms were not very sound proof, as we heard everything going on in the rooms above us and next to us. This did not help us get with issue of adequate sleep. The "ocean-view" room was more of a partial ocean view room, because we only saw part of the ocean and the other part was the neighoring hotel. The hotel staff, primarily front desk staff, kept calling our room asking "odd" questions, routing incorrect calls (i.e., one call was routed to our room at 2 a.m. for another guest in another room; another time the front desk called and asked if everything was alright for some unknown reason). The positives were they had a nice pool; the hotel lobby was clean; the fitness room was great; and the valet/porters were very attentive, informative, helpful, and polite.

The hotel itself met my needs. However, I was on the "city side" of the hotel & the construction noise started promptly @ 0530 every morning I was there (10 days) excepting Sunday. Further, eateries in the immediate vicinity of the hotel are limited to extremely expensive options (e.g. Nobu [the japanese restaurant attached to the hotel] & the Halekulani restaurant across the street). The one exception is the "Denny's" on the corner. The hotel has solved its parking issue. A parking garage is now attached to the hotel & is easily accessible.

This hotel has an excellent price/performance ratio. It is based in the central, not far away from the Waikiki Beach and all shopping locations. The personal at the reception was really attentive, finally a recommended hotel.

Overall this was a nice hotel - but we have 2 small kids - 1 and 2. The rooms were small....still had all the things you would need - just tight. This hotel would be nice for a couple or if you were out by yourself going to a bar looking for someone to hook up with I guess. The room wasnt homie or warm at all. The floor around the bed was carpet, and the rest tile - cold - there were hand blown glasses for the coffee - and I thought they were cool - but with a 2 year old - we put them up so he wouldnt drop one and break it. There was a yucky raw/bad meat smell in the elevator at night....weired. We didnt use the pool - so I cant rate that...but the free valet parking was nice! Made it easy - you didnt have to drive around looking for a spot and then get a ticket and pay later. I would reccomend this hotel if you have no kids and are in to modern decor.

Excellent hotel, centrally located on Waikiki near beach and shopping. Strong Japanese flair, especially in public areas. Very pleasant and helpful staff, especially concierge who probed to be very knowledgeable and helpful. We had the "city view on the 20th floor, and it was much better than an ocean view, especially in the evening when the ocean would have simply appeared dark and featureless. Very comfortable bed. One nagging annoyance, though, was that the lights in the room were wired so that you could not keep some of the lights or other electrical appliances (except TV) on at night unless the very bright room lights were also kept on.
