Pan Pacific Vancouver - Vancouver

We stayed the night before going a cruise to Alaska. The staff looked after our luggage to the cruise ship. Breakfast was delicious. Very comfortable bed. Tours of the city just outside. Next to Gastown.

Hotel rooms are very spacious including the bathroom (first time a saw a personal scale in a bathroom too). Four people could easily stay in one room. My kids loved the big screen TV as well. Only quality improvement I noticed was the food at the hotel restaurant - that does not go well with a hig quality hotel.

Hotel was very convenient to resturants and other attractions in Vancouver. Rooms are spacious. Pool and hot tub are very nice. Beautiful view of the Vancouver harbor. Concierge was very helpful. Nice to have a Starbucks right outside the hotel. The Big Bus was a great way to view the city in a short amount of time.

What a great hotel in a great location of Vancover. The hotel is high class with a great staff, polite and friendly in every way. We liked being right on the edge of the water with a cruise ship docking on each side. If you are cruising, then take advantage of the luggage service from your hotel room to your ship's room. Very convenient. If you fly […] into YVR take a skytrain ride via Canada Line to the Waterfront station whick is only 2.5 short blocks to Pan Pacific. This is the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Amenities, staff and location were just excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone and the absolute effiency of using your site to make my booking was nothing less that brilliant. Easy to use, prompt, easy to navigate and incredible rates!

I got a great deal from Hotels.com, that is relative to similar hotels in Vancouver. The room was great. All rooms have a fantastic view of the bay, mountains, departing cruises, and the seaplane service. The location is fantastic. You can walk along the bay to Stanley Park or rent a bicycle to tour the park. Even downtown is not a hard walk, perhaps […] 15 minutes. We walked downtown and took the "aquabus" to Granville Island for a neat afternoon. All in all it was a good deal, keeping in mind that it is a city and stuff is expensive. Lisez la suite

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. We arrived 2 days early for our Alaskan cruise. The hotel is right above the cruise terminal. It is also within walking distance of Stanley Park, Chinatown, and Gastown. Aaron, the bellhop, was very knowledgable about the surrounding area and he gave us many tips for our walking tours. There is a rail line […] from the airport to within 50yds of the hotel (saves some cab fare), There is nothing not to like about the property. Just book early to get the best rate. The hotel was beautiful, and very comfortable. We did not upgrade to a better view and higher quality linens, as the upgrade was rather expensive. The location was ideal, as we did not even have to go outside of the port when we got off of our cruise ship. One of the best experiences I ever had with a hotel...and I've been to quite a few all over the world! Impressive when you first look upon it, the Pan Pacific (and it's scenic surroundings) was breathtaking. The staff was always very nice and helpful no matter what time of day or night. We stayed in the Downtown view and were not disappointed at all. […] Room was very comfortable with a spectacular view of downtown Vancouver. Only complaint was that there was no wifi in the hotel. I've been to this hotel before and so this time was a little disappointed with my room but only because I didn't have the magnificent view of the Harbour I had the first time. Other than that it was lovely. Service extremely friendly, beds so comfy, good showers, clean spacious rooms. Public pay parking right below the hotel....although can be expensive...but […] the hotel does have their own parking fees which can save a few dollars as well as valet parking. Beaufiful hotel, Didn't eat in Restaurants but plenty of restaurants near by. Rooms were large with great views. Would definitely return as long as I had a good price. Otherwise the cost of this hotel was very expensive.

All is good. The bellman was so nice and everyone is very helpful and provided great services.

Perfect hotel with a great location! We also ate at the Five Sails restaurant and had a six star meal. We will be back! We upgraded to an ocean view and watched the July 1 fireworks from our room.

I booked this hotel for a concert for my spouse and I. At the last minute we could not go due to the passing of my father. My daughters attended the show and stayed at this hotel. I told the desk to observe their ages and their would be someone of age attending. And they were to use my credit card so dont ask at the desk. So much for being organized, […] my daughters were treated poorly and we afraid to ask for anything. In fact they could not defend themselves in a cleaver room switch by staff from a deluxe inner harbour room to a streetside room...nice touch Pan Pacific. The hotel is in a great location, rooms are well maintained, and they do take part in community activities. It is too bad you have to be a savy traveller to communicate with these people. Had I been there and had to deal with any whiff of this anti-service, I would have pulled my booking to the Fairmont across the street in one minute. This is a fabulous and beautiful location to stay at while in Vancouver, whether you're attending a conference or just wanting to explore. You're on the waterfront and it's a short walk to Stanley Park or Robson Street. As a bonus, it's only steps away to both Starbucks and the skytrain link that will take you to the airport faster than any cab. Very […] minor complaints: coughs and conversations from the next room that carry surprisingly well through the adjoining door and a shockingly icy cold bathroom floor. What a wonderful hotel in a great location! Close to everything plus it was great to push an elevator button and be on the level to board our cruise ship. The staff was very helpful including picking up our luggage and taking it to the ship so we didn't have to handle it at all. Nothing compares to the Pan Pacific

Nice comfortable hotel but don't expect to get much work done here. Internet access is charged per day and per device! For those that use WiFi with laptops, phones and pads this makes working more difficult and costly. To make matters worse, the connection was slow and frequently dropped. Our stay in the Pan Pacific was terrific. The room and the view were fabulous, the dinner in the Five Sails Restaurant out of this world and the staff super helpful.

We parked our car when we arrived and walked everywhere! Fabulous restaurants and shopping nearby. We spent most our our time at the Boat Show next door, the underground hall that connects the hotel was perfect, kept us warm and dry. Thank you, we will be back for sure!

I stayed at this location for business reasons based on the recommendations on this site. Hotel was even better than expected from those reviews.

Wonderful hotel. Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful and the concierge gave us some great advice about restaurants. The rooftop pool and hot tub where incredible.

We stayed 1 night in room 1634, a corner room with views to the north and west. We had lovely vistas of the north shore mountains, Lions Gate bridge, Stanley Park, and new convention centre. The room has a small balcony with 2 arm chairs and tiny table. On arrival, the door was locked, but a simple call to the front desk rectified that. We enjoyed the […] view from the balcony in the evening, and on the subsequent rainy morning, sat bundled in the hotel-supplied bathrobe under the hotel-supplied umbrella while sipping our Starbucks and watching the float planes take off and land. The King bed was comfortable with nice quality linens. The 5 minutes spent watching TV from the chaise lounge were comfortable as well. We were a little disappointed with the bathroom - the tub seemed positively miniscule, but maybe that is because we have a 22" deep soaker tub at home, so we are used to something bigger. We forgot toothpaste, but an inquiry at the front desk resulted in some arriving at our room within 5 minutes. We dined in the on-site restaurant, Five Sails, and it was a lovely dining experience. The Pan Pacific was Absolutely Amazing. Our Room had an excellent view (although they said it was one of their better rooms) it could not have been more perfect. The Room itself was stunning, spacious, very comfortable, excellent amenities, clean. We were joining the Coral Princess for a cruise the next day so the Location and Convenience was beyond […] perfect. Hotel Concierge took care of getting our luggage onboard so we did not have to mess around with that in any way. We were able to enjoy Vancouver for the day and then join our vessel just prior to leaving. I can not say enough good things about the hotel. Staff was courteous and professional and knowledgeable of other things to see in the area as well as helpful in guiding us to where we wanted to go. We had a delightful stay at the Pan Pacific. It is truly a beautiful place. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. The location is perfect. Right on the water and walking distance to many of the sights.You do not need a car .

Very convenient for cruisers. Rooms are very comfortable and quite large. Only disappointment was the business center was not functioning and there was a high charge for internet.

The Pan Pacific is a beautiful hotel, but what really makes the difference is the people who work there. One might expect pretentiousness given the surroundings but simply put, there was none. I needed help dealing with an emergent technical issue and the concierge and service staff took the reigns and resolved the issue for me. Thank you Ray! The hotel is quiet and comfortable, but missing one of the essentials of modern living: dependable Wi-Fi access. No Wi-Fi in the rooms, and a very poor connection on the lobby level, where laptops and other devices are left bereft. I was forced to go to a cafe down the street to find a usable wireless connection.

The hotel is located right downtown. We were able to catch the sightseeing bus at the hotel and spent the day touring Vancouver. The buffet breakfast was fabulous and the wait staff was friendly and encouraged us to take our time and enjoy the view of the bay.

Perfect for pre-cruise travelers and Vancouver visitors. Pricey, but very comfortable. Wish I'd had more time to take advantage of amenities.

Wonderful stay! We stayed at the Pan Pacific after a one week Alaska Cruise. We walked out the pier and took the elevator into the hotel. The bellman was there to bring our luggage. We were able to check into our room at 9:00 A.M. so we were able to settle in very quickly and start our day of touring. Very convenient with beautiful views. Laura

The Pan Pacific Vancouver is located in the heart of the city at the cruise line port. Most sight-seeing excursions originate from just outside their doors. This location is also easy to conduct walking tours on your own if you wish. The concierge was most helpful with maps and directions.
