i stayed in a room with my cousin for prom. yes the building is still being renovated but its not like you're going to be on the outside looking in. the room was clean everything worked the sink started to leak while we were there & the drain in the bath tub was clogged and no balcony those were the only downfalls to me. breakfast was good. no1 really […] bothered us & everyone likes that on prom weekend ;) Lisez la suite

Loved loved loved the location and the room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is in the middle of remodeling and no rooms with balconies were available :-(. My only regret..... Breakfast was awesome - I've enjoyed 2 weekend getaways here and can't wait for the remodel to be complete!!!!!

I loved it even thow it was being worked on good service nice ppl the only thing was that I did not it was under contruction and I had no balcony that was a lil sad but other then that I loved it !

our stay at the Altanic Resort was great.All the staff were very friendly and professional. We booked online and did not know that the hotel was under renovation. the continental Breakfast was unbelieveable so many choices and the food was delicious.cant wait to return when renovation is complete.

The inside of the room was nice and clean...had recently been renovated. Staff was friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, they were remodeling exterior (balconies)... jackhammers were going each week day from 8am to 6pm, thus you couldn't eat breakfast, lounge by the pool or lay directly behind the hotel on the beach without noise. I understand trying to continue […] to make money while doing remodeling, but in this case 2 weeks closed and it would have been done. Then customers can stay in peace, painting is not as noisy! Despite being under construction it was clean and the staff were very accomodating.

Hotel under major renovations. Totally nasty exterior. Pool was okay and room was somewhat clean, but I found some dirty socks under the table that belonged to a previous guest...YUCK! Right across the street from a lovely strip club called Biggins! Double-YUCK! Nowhere near the boardwalk, as indicated in the description. Overall nasty location, nasty […] place. My Family and guest enjoyed our stay at the beach. The proximity from the Atlantic Palms Resort to the Beach was great. I did not know the Resort was underconstruction though. It would have been nice if I had prior notice and did more research. Regardless of some of the challenges such as the elevator in need of overhaul and not having access to the […] balcony. It was quite well and our beds were so comfy. The staff were doing their best considering what they had to work with. In today's economy, you do what you have to do and keep a positive attitude. Access to the beach was just outside. It was oceanfront resort and the complimentary breakfast was good. The staff were staff was so patient. If you are adventerous and patient, you will have a great time. Look forward to visiting the beach again, hopefully. Lisez la suite

Bathroom did not work properly the entire stay. Informed Management and nothing was done. Hotel was under construction which severly impacted the experience. In addition, there was limited lighting around the hotel which presented a safety and security hazard.

The hotel was under construction and a complete mess (not told this prior to booking). Gave us a room that was occupied. Had to call twice for a garbage can and pillows. Housekeeping left towels some towels on floor and picked some up. Towels were left on bed instead of in bathroom along with toilet paper. The hotel is undergoing alot of much need renovations. I admit that walking to my room, I thought I made a horrible mistake by booking online, but once I opened the door to my room I was pleasantly surprized. The room was completely new. The hotel was horrible. To begin the parking spaces were way to small and it would be nice to have room to park and get out of the parking lot. I arrived for a four night stay to be put in a room that had no flooring, fixtures and hotel was under major construction, balconies were unuseable and unsafe.

my room was beautiful. breakfast was amazing, large variety spread! hotel was being renovated so the condition of the rest of the hotel was understandable.

We requested a king size bed but got 2 double beds instead. Majority of the hotel was under construction. We had to go through the side doors to go to the front office to pay. There was construction material all over the hotel. We couldn't allow our toddler to walk by herself because she might fall on the dry wall, tools, carpet ripped up etc. Our room […] must have been a newer room. It was clean and decent. Unfortunately we couldn't use the balcony. It was locked due to construction still. I wish we knew the hotel was under construction before staying. The pool was available and decent. The access the beach was nice. We just didnt like the fact that there were construction guys walking the halls working all the time and just the material all over the halls downstairs. The breakfast was good. They had a lot of choices. The owner stayed in the breakfast area most of the time. It felt like he was watching the guests. That was odd. This place was really gross. All but the first 2 floors was blocked off for construction as well as half of the lobby. The staff was scarce and non responsive. The people in the room beside us were having a brutal fight all night, my kids were terrified. we call the front desk and suggested they call the police, they said they would "check it out". […] they obviously ignored it though. roaches galore, renovation noises, in old and bad repair in general

Absolutely horrible experience!!!! My husband pulled the bed sheets down and the bed and pillows were satuated with dried urine. The sheets were so wrinkled they looked like they had not been changed in weeks. The room had animal smell of urine and feces. We never stayed. We spoke with the manager and got a complete refund(with some difficulty) and […] will NEVER return. They should be shut down by the board of health. As I write this review my stomach is turning. It took me a LONG time to even entertain the thought of writing about this disgusting ordeal. By the way, the manager wanted to know if we would be satisfied with new pillowsand sheets instead of the urine stained ones. HA! R U kidding me??? Lisez la suite

bugs in bed cockroaches in microwave

The hotel was great for a last minute scheduling but for a non smoking room it was smelly. Not to mention there was noticeable water damage to the furniture. Beds were stiff and uncomfortable and the price was very low for biketoberfest. Will I stay there again probably not.

When I called and make my reservation the lady said 6 block from Main street. 5 min drive and 15 min walk. One think for sure she has NEVER been there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The room was the right size for my wife and our dog.and I.It was on the first floor which was good for the dog. The weather was bad that weekend,but you can't do anything about that.The hotel was right on the beach,which would of been great except for the weather.

We had a very nice stay. The breakfast area was very clean and the kitchen attendant consistently replenished the food. The pool area was beautifully landscaped and clean. The manager made sure we has what we needed and more!! Great stay and will surely be back!!

Hotel is at a wonderful price point. The free breakfast was a nice touch. The pool and ocean view was spectacular. The staff friendly. It is very worn down, but clean. However, it didn't take long to realize it was infested with roaches. This absolutely was a deal breaker.

Dump... with bed bugs... reported to Florida Health Department

The hotel deskclerk Denise was the sweetest and the most helpful person that worked there. Everything was great.

Our stay was a great value. Located on the beach we were able to run our Boxer before and after hours. We had a great view of the ocean, and plan on going back.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel location to the beach was wonderful. When my husband, son and I were going to bed I noticied that there was dried blood on the wall where our heads would be touching I call the front desk and they said there isn't anything they can do about it until the morning when housekeeping arrived. The […] kitchen that was located in our room was dirty, full of bugs, and stains. The left two burners on the stove did not even work. cant beat it for the money,plus reasonable local bars

The only bad things I have to say is that the air in our room started whistling when we had it on "Low Cool", the staff was unaware of the elevator not working right, and did not put signs on the drink machines that were broken. Other than that, it was relaxing and quiet.

The pic's up for this hotel must be old because it looked decent. Our non-smoking room had an old ashtray smell that hit you in the face when you walked in-not even a can of Glade covered, plus it saturated into all of our belonings. The patio was moldy, the lights inside had rust on them, paint was peeling off doors, the fan in the bathroom was hanging, […] NOTHING looked cleaned or bleached, something was stained dripping down the door & curtains and I'm confident the matresses came from a dumpster!! The online amenities and the book in the room listed a game room and ice cream machine which neither existed. The pool chairs all had something broken on them and my husband and I got attacked by ants while sitting there. To say the least, I will not be going or recommending this hotel. the staff was friendly. But the hotel was very OLD and needs to be updated. The free breakfast was BAD - The reason i stayed their was the the hotel allowed pets. But I will do more research next time before booking with any hotels. Come to find out, there're alot of very nice hotels that allow small pets. It is a nice hotel if you are young and you do not care. Great for young spring breakers. In high season, parking lot is so full that you have to park acroos the street. Elevator always wet from people going in and out. Breakfast very simple. Workers very nice and friendly. Rooms very low profile. Location GREAT!!!
