"Ramada Limited"
Close to light rail station, staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
"convenient location"
I found the location fabulous for my purposes. The service was great and the quality of the facility for the price was good.
"Convenient but no view"
Overall, I enjoy staying in this hotel - the room was clean, the personnel very friendly, and the breakfast was good and available for a long period of time.Yet, my room had two small windows which "looked" on a very close wall (3 feet??). The overall feeling was of a basement, although I was on the second floor. I didn't mind too much, because I used […] my room almost exclusively for sleeping. Lisez la suite
"Close to everything!"
Really great hotel - within walking distance to everything, good places to eat nearby, and the hotel itself was clean and much more modern than I had expected. The microwave and fridge in the room were a nice, and handy, surprise. The staff went above and beyond to be courteous and helpful. I was really impressed, especially for the price. The only […] downside is that the continental breakfast is a bit weak- some fruit, aside from bland apples, would be a welcome addition to bagels, toast, and pancakes (good coffee though!). "About what you would expect"
This hotel is in an old building in the heart of Vancouver. The room was very small- what you would expect in an old hotel in a big city. I was disappointed to not have a desk or table as I needed to do some work while there. The window only opened a crack and was frosted and I am guessing it opened into a shaft. The service from the desk to the breakfast […] was always very good. Breakfast- again, what you would expect simple and basic. I could see some people feeling unsafe in the neighborhood (at night) but I appreciated the access to inexpensive restaurants and the proximity to the airport train (2-3 blocks). If you plan to spend much time in the hotel, this is probably not the best choice but if you need an inexpensive base of operations that will meet your basic needs, this is it. Lisez la suite

"Ramada Inn Limited in downtown Vancouver, Canada"
This hotel is in a great area and for the price of the room, you are conveniently located near the gas town, china town and down town area and all these areas are walkable. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great to start off your day. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends is they were planning […] to visit Vancouver. Lisez la suite
"Nice Hotel"
VERY VERY FRIENDLY. GOOD LOCATION IN DOWNTOWN.
"Awesome value, super friendly staff"
This old hotel has been nicely renovated, and while the rooms are small, the price can't be beat for what you get: breakfast is included, the location is super convenient, the staff is wonderful. We have stayed here exclusively since we found them, and have never regretted it. One thing to mention; ask for a larger room with daylight should you need […] elbow space or have a need for light- there are some very small rooms on the interior side that can be a bit claustrophobic. "just the hall noises"
the normal noise people make in the halls is really loud inside the rooms it may wake you up! the hotel staff and valet service was great.
"Great location, great price, nice enough place"
If you are looking for the nicest place in town, this is not it but if you are looking for affordable lodging in an almost ideal location for the Vancouver Convention Center and surrounding then this may be it. Neighborhood is not perfect but it is not bad either. This was a great value for downtown lodging in Vancouver.
"Great Value -- great proximity to everything"
This hotel was perfect for me. I was traveling for business and needed to be close to the convention center. I walked back and forth several times a day without any trouble. My room was not huge but it didn't matter since it was just me. Everything was very clean and the hotel staff was ultra-courteous and helpful. I would stay here again!

"Ramada Hotel (Downtown) - Tiny Rooms"
The hotel itself is located in a convenient and centered downtown location (ie: Gastown, Granville St., Seabus and Waterfront skytrain, and the most interesting of all would be Hastings Street.) We checked in in a rushed manner, and the front desk were helpful with their quickness - although, a couple hours later when we realized we had forgot to grab […] the wireless internet key they were not so accommodating and seemed annoyed. The room itself was the size of the king bed with no window to see outside and felt crammed with my partner and I's suitcases jammed against the back of the door. Also, the bathtub was not cleaned and had hairs from the past rooms guest still lining the inner tub. Older tube tv's and slow internet as well. A convenient location, yes. The room, nothing special to remember besides a 'boxed in feeling'. Lisez la suite
"Comfort and convenience at a fair price"
I really enjoyed my stay here. It was only a ten min walk for me to get to Rogers Arena. The room was small but comfortable...perfect for just myself. Breakfast was included which was a selling feature for me. It was your typical continental style breakfast but it also included two hot items, I was impressed given how cheap the room was. The service […] was quick and friendly. I was even able to check in early with no extra fee. Everything was clean and reasonably updated. There was little to no road noise with the windows closed. I would recommend this hotel. Lisez la suite

"OK for business but not vacation"
The rooms had musty carpets, rotting trims within the bathroom. However the front desk staff and the breakfast staff was pretty hospitable and made up for it.
"Close to skytrain, good food, gas town"
As seen before staff were excellent. Breakfast was a nice touch. Hotel is vintage but well maintained. Rooms are clean, comfortable. Only complaint was the "single queen" room is 2 twins pushed together. We didn't complain but we did see some queen mattresses in the luggage room: maybe upgrading?! Area is getting close to Main and Hastings but nothing […] scary. Value was great. Lisez la suite
All rooms are either double single occupancy or double queen which we were not informed of and almost caused a major problem but was rectified. It was what it was. Location was great as we were attending a hockey game at Rogers arena. All the staff, with the exception of one "gentleman" who was extremely rude, were great. Older building but updated […] and "interesting" neighborhood. Wouldn't roam around late at night but felt relatively safe during the daylight. Lisez la suite
"Ramada Limited Downtown in Vancouver BC"
Good hotel overall (and quiet) except for a safety issue (see below), very close to Gastown, movie and live theater, Chinatown, etc. Very nice and friendly service. Only problem we had was deadbolt did not close except by lifting up door. Then it took 5 minutes of grunting to open it again- good thing no fire! Continental breakfast okay and includes […] egg patties as only protein option. Also very expensive valet parking only- recommend spending the time driving around nearby and parking yourself as we did for our 2nd night! Don't get this Ramada confused with the other Ramada further south just off of the Granville Island bridge. This one is in a little bit better neighborhood. Lisez la suite
"Close to BCIT Downtown"
I stayed at the Ramada downtown as I was taking a two-day course at the BCIT campus on Seymour Street and it was a one block walk to the school. The hotel was clean and the front desk staff were very pleasant and easy to deal with. The included breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food. My major complaint is the lack of parking for registering […] at the hotel and that parking is NOT included as a guest. Ramada does offer a valet service for guests which after surveying lots around the area was actually quite reasonable. I understand that parking is not included in many of the hotels in the area, but it would be useful for that information to be displayed on Hotels.com or the Ramada website. Lisez la suite
"Ramada Vancouver - just a very average hotel"
The best part of this hotel is its location. The room is very small and the lights are too dim.
"Close and convenient"
Good location for late night arrivals via sky train. A little small and dated are the rooms, but staff very helpful and polite.
"Smallest hotel room I've stayed in"
This hotel is in a great location! Close to gastown, Chinatown, and shopping. The hotel overall was clean and well-maintained. This, however, does not make up for the size of the rooms. We were in a room with 2 double beds. There was barely any walking room and the window only opened a little bit. The window itself was "designed" so you could not see […] out of it. I felt uncomfortable and closed in for my entire stay. When I asked the front desk if they had any bigger rooms, they said I was in their largest. Yikes. If you dont mind feeling cramped or claustrophobic, this may work out for you. I will not be staying there again. Lisez la suite
"Jewel in the midst of a neighborhood concern"
I was greatful to stay in this newly upgraded hotel. I asked for a quiet room in the back and got what I wished for. Only issue, the neighborhood is less than stellar and a little difficult for a woman at night. And valet parking is steep....although I wouldn't wish to walk for parking at night. Suggest a modified fee for parking. Hopefully the neighborhood […] issues will eventually be addressed. Lisez la suite

"Great Location"
The hotel was at a very convenient location in relation to the Vancouver Convention Center, an easy ten minute walk. The hotel was clean and my bed was very comfortable.
Most impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the staff.
"ramada limited- friendly and convenient"
All through the day the cleaning staff is working. They keep asking if our room needed to be clean everytime I walk out the door. I normally don't so I said its ok don't sorry about us. Breakfast was pretty good and generous. The front desk people were really nice, helpful, and descrptive. The valet guys were attentive too. The surrounding area can […] be a bit scary but really convenient to get around. We pretty much walked everywhere! You don't want to drive because parking sucks. So just take the hit for hotel parking. Unlimited access to ur car etc. Overall a wonderful hotel to stay at. Lisez la suite

handy location, friendly staff, clean room with good bed and bath for the price range
"Unexpected haven in the heart of Gastown"
We stumbled upon this gem in the middle of gastown some years ago, on our first trip together to Vancouver. I wanted something close to gastown, he wanted something close to his family. We decided on this area, but hotels were limited to the extremely seedy to the extremely expensive. We took a chance on the Ramada and were pleasantly surprised. Clean […] rooms, big beds, some flat screens and recently (since our last visit) improved toiletries. Housekeeping is obnoxiously, without apology, loud in the hallway. Really inexcusable, but hey. A somewhat small price to pay, and they don't start until after 9. Maybe it's their way of saying we're lazy? Their housekeeping was, after all, perfectly lovely. Additionally, service generally here is fantastic, way above par for what we paid. Wifi is free (huzzah!), breakfast is included, and valet parking (well worth it so we can park and walk to all food/shopping) is $28/day. Thanks again, Ramada! Lisez la suite

"Ramada Limited Downtown- Great location"
The hotel is situated within walking distance of all downtown attractions and shopping. It is right next to Gastown and a 5 minute walk to Granville. Location is outstanding. room is very comfortable, although small. great Donair Kebab shops and pizza parlors right beside the hotel, great for a late snack after drinking on Granville. WARNING: If you […] want to go to Chinatown, AVOID HASTINGS STREET!!!! All of the homeless missions are on that road and the street is entirely populated with drug use, crazy people, thugs, and the homeless. While we didn't have any problems, it isn't a route I would ever repeat. There are zero tourists or sightseers and there is nothing to see, I would recommend taking Pender or a different street. Lisez la suite
"Ramada Limited in downtown Vancouver"
The Ramada Limited offered a great bargain price, fine service and convenient walking distance to everything we needed in downtown Vancouver. The rooms were quiet, despite the active night life in the area. We stayed there four nights during the winter holiday season. We kept our car with the valet, and had the option of driving when needed, but only […] used it once. About the only improvement I could suggest would be a better caliber breakfast (i.e. get some decent coffee and fresh-cooked oatmeal rather than instant, and add some variety, such as fried potatoes.) I hope to go there again! Lisez la suite

"The Most comfortable hotel bed!"
The ramada was a great stay ! I was attending a concert at roger center it was only a 10 min walk away Very cheap parking and the hotel suprise me how nice the inside and how clean the rooms where only bad thing I could think of is bed was a king made it a bit tight. To walk around room . I would strongly recommend this hotel.

"Close to everything!"
Obviously a hotel in the downtown area of any city should be close to everything but the Ramada is a very short walk from Robson St for shopping, Gastown, the waterfront area & a slightly longer but still easy walk to Stanley Park. Helpful & friendly staff, smaller rooms than we were used to coming from the rockies but we didn't go to Vancouver to spend […] all our time in the hotel room. Beds were still comfortable & the hotel was very clean. Lisez la suite
"Clean, old but renovated, great"
My wife and I were visiting our kids in Vancouver and we decided to stay here because of the great price. We were very appreciative of the cleanliness of the hotel. It had the charm of an older home (no extra space in the room) but the renovations made for updated restrooms and decor. The staff were helpful, the breakfast simple but adequate. This is […] not a place for someone who wants a completely contemporary, wide-open place but we enjoyed it and would absolutely return to stay here when in Vancouver. Lisez la suite
"nice price, but pretty loud!"
Our room was great, but faced on to Pender St. Three times that night there were sirens and a fire truck at the building, and then an ongoing chorus of swearing and screaming people in the streets....our neighbors were also enjoying their night pretty loudly...all good otherwise, just lots of noise!! If you need a quiet room I would suggest not facing […] the street. Lisez la suite
"Ramada Downtown Vancouver - Old but adequate"
Hotel is on the edge of seedier neighbourhoods, but felt safe to me, and is conveniently very close to the Granville Skytrain station. Felt old, especially the small elevator (I was on the 2nd floor so only used it once; the stairs were much faster). My room was clean, though small. Older, smaller TV. Wireless internet worked fine. Free breakfast was […] fine, but nothing spectacular. My only complaint is that I had requested a fridge and microwave with my reservation, and it shows up on my hotels.com reservation receipt, but they claimed not to have received my request. "Downtown Hotel"
My stay at this hotel was great. the staff were super friendly and accomodating. Held my luggage for me after checking out , until my meetings were over. Close to everything in downtown Vancouver. Great stay for the price. Rooms were clean. I would saty there again.
"They have all the basics covered"
Overall, this is a great place to stay and I will return! I appreciate the cleanlliness, updated decor, and downtown proximity, All transactions were friendly and smooth. Bed comfy. Room was small but that was the least of my concerns. Paid a bit extra for breakfast and it was okay; had egg patties and sausages, cereal, toast, bit of fruit, and juice- […] did the trick! And parking is extra, but Hey! A decent place to stay for a night or two. Lisez la suite
