This hotel is horrible!!!!

The door had to be slammed to close, the bathtub didn't drain. Constant noise from the trains going by. It's a motel so constant noise from other guests One of the guys at the front desk was rude. Found trash in the fridge beds were very uncomfortable. I was very disapointed and will not stay in a ramada again if I can at all help it. I have stayied at choise hotels for less money any way better adminitys.

Nice enough hotel if it will only be used for sleeping. Perfect location to downtown and only two blocks from bus station if needed. They do not have air port shuttle, so bus is the way to go (only a $1.50 compared to $18 cab ride). So what if a train goes by now and then.. turn the TV up and live with it.. just a little background noise. Mid level hotel in an awesome location.. and not ripping you off because they have the location.. We would call this a great deal.. a good buy.. a fair transaction.. Walk 30 feet and pay twice as much if you would like.. or keep that money in […] your pocket and spend it at the local establishments. The room was dirty and there were stains all over the bathroom. There were also train tracks 100 feet from the hotel so needless to say we didn't get much sleep

There were no frills at this hotel. The beds were comfortable and it was downtown. Compared to other hotels downtown, this was a good deal.

Ramada Inn - Downtown is close to the business part of town and also the restaurant/entertainment area. The park is nearby as is the local colleges . Unfortunately, what they don't tell you is that is right next to the train tracks! However, the fan on the heaters and the air conditioners (depending on season) manages to block alot of the sound.

I made this reservation with Hotels.com on the phone after our first choice was snatched up while making arrangements. I thought I had made a reservation at a similar nice hotel in the same location. When we arrived I was sorely disappointed. This is a very old hotel in a sketchy part of town. The neighborhood was filled with drunks. Suspicious stains […] on the carpet. Funny smell in the room. Walls were dirty. At breakfast, instead of pour-your-own-waffles, they offered pre-made toast-your-own-waffles. There was a sign above the deadbolt on the door that said "do not lock", which I didn't notice until the morning after I had locked it. Fortunately I was able to get out of the room. The one good thing that I can say is that the hotel desk clerk was very nice, both at 2 a.m. when we arrived and at 6 a.m. when we left. Lisez la suite

Walk anywhere downtown. Small but comfortable.

This hotel has declined since my last stay here - our sheets were torn and stained, the room was smelly, and the fridge broken. Front desk staff were not helpful. I would not stay here again.

Nothing bad to say, nothing great to say. We stayed for a night on our way from Seattle to Missoula. We walked to a nice brewpub (Post Street Ale House) and left the next morning...the area is a bit dicey but not horrendous. The nearby train wasn't an issue. Overall we were satisfied.

While we were happy with the service at the front desk, we were quite surprised when we discovered the room was very small, unkept, and not updated. We were not aware when we booked that rooms would face the outside. There is no privacy. Many guests sat outside while talking on their cells which gave me the impression of a weekly stay for drug users. […] I paid for better than that. This hotel was FAR below my expectations for a Ramada. The hotel was a dive with numerous maintenance problems in our room...We jokingly said that there was a helicopter in our bathroom, that was how loud the fan was. In addition, the elevator to get up to our room was literally filthy and had been urinated in repeatedly. The beds were comfortable but […] that was the only real redeeming factor, other than the location which was close to everything..... This hotel was a nice place to stay. If I had one complaint it would be that the railroad tracks are right outside the hotel. It was very close to the riverwalk park. The tub was a little worn. the a/c worked great.

Room was adequate but disappointed that we were in a corner that was always in the dark, even during daylight hours. Definitely want to be on the bottom floor to help buffer the noise from the nearby train tracks. Office staff was very helpful and the breakfast was better than some. Easy to find.

Hotel/motel is right next to a train track that runs every hour. Makes for a horrible sleep.

Overall, the room was very comfortable. We had requested two rooms and they had placed us in connecting rooms, which was much appreciated as we had four little ones that wanted to go back and forth between parents and grandma. The two negatives: I wouldn't label the continental breakfast as deluxe. It was adequate, but, since it is self serve and not […] staffed, coffee & juices ran out. Second, the hotel advertises check out time as being noon. I realize that the staff needs time to clean the rooms, but I felt like we were being pushed out before that time (2 knocks on the door by cleaning crew and a phone call to each room), and at a time when we were attempting to have those little ones rest before a wedding we had come to town to attend. Perfect location for us to walk to many local wineries...but beware...noisy long trains passing by all night long - right across the parking lot.

This was a very nice hotel even though it was very old. The rooms were very well appointed with fridge, microwave,coffee pot, iron and ironing board, and blow dryer. I really liked the fact that they placed comfy chairs and ashtrays outside on the wide walkways. We were there for the Elton John concert and the area was perfect. The room was very small, and smelled of urine. The bathtub drain did not do so properly, and the sheets had discusting stains on them... When I mentioned it to the staff, they offered an apology. I will never stay there again - it was bad...

Adequate close to eateries and shopping

Very nice staff very clean room for an older hotel. Very noisy! located next to train tracks that are in use ALL night. Parking lot very busy and very noisy for not many people in hotel. For a good night sleep, next time I will stay someplace else.

bathroom stunk of urine.

The hotel staff was friendly, however, the AC was a large appliance that sits inside the room on the floor and takes up a huge amount of room and is amazingly loud. No one bothered to say in any of the other reviews I looked at that the train passes right by the hotel on a regular basis. Loud! checked in early, staff was friendly and room was ready. room was clean and comfortable; better linens than expected, good pillows. only downside, continental breakfast ends at 9am....over slept, went at 9:15, missed it :(

SMALL rooms. While clean the rooms were very very small. The elevator was broken, the bathtub was stained, the light fixture above the bed did not work properly. I'll never stay at a ramada ever again.

hotel while loacated next to some very exclusive properties attracts a very diffrernet clientele. Rooms were small and very old. Mine had mold in bathtub. it was loud with patrons in parking lot and comings and goings of a questionable nature all night long.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and for the affordable price the room was actually quite nice! The bed was comfortable and there were enough pillows. Refigerator and microwave. The employees were all friendly and helpful. Great location- we were able to walk to everything downtown, the water, the restaraunts, the Mall- it is also close to the highway. The outside of the hotel looked fine, but my room was very small, the floor creaked noisily, and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. Even with all the negatives of the room, the location was amazing. Right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to everything. 3 blocks to the mall & riverview park. I was very pleased. The staff was very helpful […] in giving me directions or suggestions where to go. Got a ride to the airport for $10, less than half the cab fare. I would still recommend this place if you're in town for one or two nights but you won't be in the room for long periods of time. It did get a little claustrophobic. Hotel was a last minute booking at tradeshow. The rates were great, but hotel is in a well used state.

The hotel workers were very friendly and the price for the room was good. The only problem I had with the room was the bed comforter had very noticable stains on it and also the bath tub faucet controls were reversed. The cold was hot and the hot was cold. But the stay was enjoyable and the location was great.
