hotel pratique à 2 pas de JFK airport avec un restaurant quelconque mais commode pour une étape surtout quand il pleut! personnel accueillant .Globalement c'est très très recommandableavec petit déjeuner copieux et compris.. on peut même se faire des gaufres!!!

A 15 minutes en métro de Grand Central Station et 2 minutes à pieds de la bouche de métro, l'hotel apporte tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour de courte durée ou plus (nous sommes restés 11 nuits). Quartier clame sans intérêt particulier mais avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Seul bémol la variété au petit déjeuner et le manque de places assises...mais ce n'était absolument pas notre priorité. Je recommande.

Très bon hotel, petit déjeuner complet, personnel très sympas, wi-fi. Par contre ne pas y aller pour l'environnement, il n'y a rien à faire autour. Très bon hotel avant de reprendre un avion le lendemain car juste à coté de JFK ou après un long vol pour se reposer rapidement. Navette gratuite aussi bien l'aéroport (il faut les appeler et ils viennent dans le 1/4 d'heure) que depuis l'hotel toutes les heures.

L'hôtel est très près de JFK et pour être arrivés tard c'était très bien (8 minutes en taxi). Par contre il n'y a pas grand chose autour et il est assez loin de Manhattan. La chambre était très bien, propre et spacieuse, le lit très confortable.

Notre hôtel etait charmant, le personnel très agréable et le petit déjeuner simple bon et consistant. La chambre spacieuse et les lits très confortables. Une navette gratuite vous emmene à une station de metro et en 20 min vous voilà à Times square.

"Four Season in Plainview"
This is a great hotel and the only draw back is the street the hotel is on is one way. So if you leave and have to come back you have to go around in order to get back to the entrance. The surrounding side street that GPS sends you down is not that great. But overall the staff and also the hotel was great.

"Good for overnight stay"
We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. There was a block of rooms reserved, but we were not given a cutoff date, so we were not in the room block. However, hotels.com gave me a much better rate than a direct call to the hotel. The bridal couple had a arranged a shuttle to the wedding reception, which was very convenient for guests. "Nice hotel."
I stood for night at the four points sheraton. I had a king room. Bed was very comfortable. Room was nice and clean. Also pleased with the multiple lighting options. Was a very large room. I was orginally given a room with two doubles but they switched me to a king when i informed them i had booked a king. the room with two doubles was not very big […] but was only in there for a minute so didnt check it out. "Centraly located off the LIE"
This was the 2nd time I stayed at this hotel and was very pleased with the cleanliness and the service. Needed houskeeping to bring toilet paper and they were there within minutues. Definitly would stay again. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Hotel bills itself as non-smoking and makes you sign a paper at check in stating you understand the no smoking policy. Hotel room stunk of cigarette smoke. Smell was in the fabrics. GROSS!

"Service"
Everything was great at our hotel and what made it top was the amazing customer service and the friendly team of hotel staff. From the manager to the waiters to the housekeeping staff. Always had a smile and were very accommedating. They showed real care and concern for our comfort and answered all of our questions with a smile..... "Not all what was promised"
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nice. We booked and paid for a King bed opposed to two double beds. The hotel does not observe what you choose on Hotels.com. They claim you can order it but they go with first come, first serve who gets the king beds. So if you choose one get their earlier or prepare not to get what you ordered. Not happy at all that the hotel did not honor my reservation for a room wih a King Size bed. The hotel itself as lovely. The staff extremely accommodating. The facility very clean and well kept.

Bed was very uncomfotable.Must be an old hotel because walls and ceilings are very thin.Can hear mulitiple conversations at the same time.Just overall a noisy hotel.Its located on the edge of an industrial complex.This can lead to property thefts from automobiles as was stated in the hotel literature.

"Sheraton in Plainview"
The room was nice. The hotel was located off the highway, but did not here the traffic in our room. Like most hotel's the walls are thin, so expect to here your neighbors come and go !!! The pool was dirty. Otherwise the stay was nice. There was a restaurant and a recently renovated fitness room.

Stayed here three nights last weekend. Hotel is clean and right off the highway. However, beds were very soft and uncomfortable, the pillows were very very thin and the room was very noisy. The floor creaks when you walk in the room so I'm sure the people in the room below could hear every time we walked around the room as we were hearing the folks […] in the room above us all night long. "Plainview Sheraton"
Our stay there for four night was great. The room was large, comfortable, and quiet, although we were on the side not facing the L.I.E. The pool was nice and the water was warm. Our only complaint would be the bathroom. There was not enough counter space around the sink. "Long Island Hotel"
This hotel was very large and next to the Freeway. We were given a room on the back of the hotel and it was very pleasant. Although we did not have time to try it, the bar had many beers on tap. Good value.

"very nice room"
We only stayed one night because we had a birthday party the next morning and live 5 hours away, so the area did not matter to us as long as it was close to our friends home. That would be the only downfall I felt. We had a king suite and it was very nice and clean. We had the breakfast buffet in the morning which cost us fifteen dollars, but had anything […] you could want for breakfast. "Great Hotel"
I was staying at this hotel for one night to attend a couple of concerts at Jones Beach. While I was there, the weather was not great (rained the whole two days). The hotel staff graciously allowed me to delay my checkout by a few hours with no extra charge. I found the rooms to be very clean and spacious. Free internet access is always a bonus. "Would not stay here again"
I recently stayed at this hotel to attend a wedding nearby. The hotel appears run-down and is practically on the highway. There were stains on the carpets and looks like it needs a facelift. Our first room was in the front of the hotel and you can hear the traffic outside the room on the highway. We changed rooms because they put us in a double room […] and i requested a king room with my reservation. The king room was at the back of the hotel and was much better. Location is OK.
