The motel was in a good location, close to the mall and other stores. People were very friendly. the only thing is the air conditioner was loud.

Overall the room was more than satisfactory, staff were very friendly and helpful. There was not any food services close to the hotel, this was the biggest problem, driving each time for a meal.

Hotel was great and staff very friendly, they even have smoking rooms, air conditioner worked very well.

There was only one ice machine in the whole hotel and it was located in the lobby on the first floor. Although it was only three floors, an elevator would have been nice. There was a window unit in the stairwell but it was only on part of the time. The towels were so rough that you dare not rub, but only pat yourself dry. We stayed two nights and had a great experience. Not everything is brand new but what impressed me the most was the cleanliness. The staff was extremely courteous and had the best customer service skills. The only draw-back that could mention would be the continental breakfast could have used some more variety in their pastries. I would definitely stay […] there again and recommend this hotel. We were very impressed with this hotel! The room was super clean, and the bathroom was spotless! It was a little hard to find, but once we got there, we were really pleased! I thought it was a brand-new motel! Breakfast was served a little too early for us 6 am-9 am, so we missed it, but I can't remember staying in a nicer place!

We were in Johnson City for a single night stay on our vacation , the clerk was extremely knowledgable of the area and was very helpful in finding us the right place to get supplies and our room was clean and comfortable, it was not 5 star accomodations but a great place for a night stay and not that far from the Smoky Mountains or Knoxville.

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and it was all we expected for the price we paid. Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and a nice continental breakfast.

The room had a terrible smell of pizza and some other food smells when I arrived. There was a piece of pizza crust left on top of the T.V., so I have doubts about the cleanliness of the room. The bed was very comfortable, though. I would only recommend this room if you don't mind sacrificing a few things for quiet and being left alone.

The room needed a through cleaning espically the carpet, should have been replaced, bathroom light did not work, although they did repair it. No elevator, 3rd floor is tiresome getting to with luggage.

I booked my hotel reservations through hotel.com. When we arrived at Super 8 on Friday, July 31 it was about 8:30 pm. The lady working the desk at that time confirmed our reservation and the days that we were staying with them, from Friday July 31 through Monday August 2, three nights. She assigned room #321 on the third floor. This motel had no elevator […] so my daughter and I walked three flights of stairs to get to the third floor and the room was at the end of the hall. When we got to room #321 we heard the TV running and the door had a do not disturb sign hanging on the doorknob. So before putting our key in and entering the room we knocked, a man answered the door. Someone was already occupying that room. We had to carry our luggage back to the end of the hall and while my daughter stayed with the luggage on the third floor I walked back down the stairs and told the lady working at the desk. She said “that strange, sorry about that” and resigned our keys to room #301. The hotel didn’t have many people staying at their hotel so I wondered why they put us on the third floor. The halls and stairs had no air conditioning and were very hot and humid. Saturday night when we returned to our hotel it was about 10:30 pm. We walked up to our room on the third floor and found our room un-cleaned. The bedding had not been changed, no clean towels; nothing had been done to our room. I walked back down to the lobby. The lady working at the desk said they cleaned all the rooms. I told her we had nothing cleaned in our room. She asked what do you need, I had to take sheets and towels to take care of the room myself that night. I was very unhappy with my stay at Super 8 and when we check out on Monday morning I told the man working at the desk of my dissatisfaction and he apologized. My husband call to talk to the manager but he was gone for the weekend and was not available until Tuesday. He never returned my husbands call to discuss the situation. My room was more than I expected for the price. The room was clean, well maintained and they had inside enterance to the room, which is important to me because I travel alone. The room had a small chair, desk and a refrigerator. I had recently traveled to the area and had a bad experience with another hotel, but this one, for the price, was better. […] I would definitely stay in the hotel again. Lisez la suite

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! This hotel is sketchy at best. I drove around back to find two shady guys walking groping and fondling an even shadier woman. The back door, which is supposed to be locked for security was duct taped open. The hotel is located across from a "gangsta'z" bar. The entire third floor was loud with parties. Excellent service.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room we stayed in was a single queen room. The bathroom floor was somewhat dirty, we were never given regular coffee in the room. There was no place to plug in the coffeemaker except in the bathroom. On the positive, there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room, a chair and plenty of room for the two […] of us. Worth the price. Clean. Has a waffle maker.

My first room was 305. I went to take a shower - no water pressure. Had to walk (no elevators) to the 1st floor for a new card for room 311. Guess what? No water pressure and the fridge smelled like fish! Now, back down to the lobby for another room which was 205. Plenty water pressure but could not use the fan because the stunk up the room with the […] smell of cigarette smoke! Even though it was non-smoking room! The hotel was really nice. The service was outstanding. Great deal for your money. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
