I was surprised by the window attendant when I showed up, that he was actually disappointed that I showed up. There had been calls looking for a room, and he already had plans to give my room away if I had been a little later in showing up. Excuse me...the room had been already PAID IN FULL for 3 days! I would expect that room to remain empty the entire […] 3 days if I didn't show up that night. Another surprise the next morning, was that the alarm clock didn't go off as planned. The outlet where the clock is plugged in is turned off when a light switch is turned off over by the door. So, turn off the lights ...you turn off the alarm clock. When we got up a few minutes after 9 the next morning, the breakfast service had already been closed and cleaned up. We did make the breakfast service the next morning, however the lady attending to the food didn't like the fact I used a Styrofoam cup sitting next to the coffee pots, she wanted me to use the ones being dispensed from a wall unit instead. Why does it matter which cup I used for morning coffee? Don't expect a lot of security from this hotel either. The rear door leading to the parking lot is propped open by a small stick or rock every night. For some reason an employee must make frequent trips outside, and since there is no "key access", propping the door open is easier than walking around to the front of the hotel to gain entrance again. To much noise and the room was musky

Only ten minutes from downtown DC, you can't go wrong choosing this location. Even though we returned very late at night to a party of historic proportions going on in the room next door, the hotel staff was very quick to deal with the situation and the situation quickly resolved itself. Its clean, its cheep, the people are very nice. Perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep. The wi-fi works perfect also.

I found a hair in the hand towel which was folded nicely and hanged from the rack above the toilet. I wondered how they actually do the laundry. How could they not see the hair there? Or they just don't care. The receptionists were cold and mde you feel unwelcome.

Internet good, first room had bad odor, manager switched us, but new room was still dingy and smelled a bit rank. However, the price was less than half that anywhere else we looked, so it worked for us.

everything was fine, wish they had some fruit, like apples and such, with continental breakfast

The bathroom was clean. The carpet could use a good cleaning; there were crumbs from previous guests still on the floor near the bed & desk. Had to leave hotel because room infested with bed bugs. staff not too friendly.

The staff was fine and responsive. There was a lot of noise made mostly by the guests and the highway. Rooms were ok. This place matched the price so that is what made it acceptable

Hotel was very adequate, it met my needs. It was very close to downtown DC and there were several resturants near by, plus a really good diner next to the hotel. The staff was friendly, very helpful, my family and I arrived early and it had been a long drive, so we were able to get into one of our rooms. However, within an hour my other room was ready, […] the maids were very polite and their willingness to help made me feel at home there. I would definetely stay here again. You get the basic room and service for the price. Wireless internet and breakfast are bonus for the price. Rooms and bathroom are clean even though they are bit old and not luxurious.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to sleep and shower while you visit the DC area, this is the place. It's not fancy, and there aren't a lot of amenities, but it is close to Metro, and you won't pay for a lot of stuff you won't use. The internet works great, the television had plenty of channels, the room was clean, the water was hot […] and the staff was friendly. I'd stay here again next time I am in the DC area. I'll keep this short. When we got to our floor, instantly, we smelled cigarette smoke. In our room it smelled like they tried to cover up the smell of smoke. Mind you, this is a smoke-free hotel. The clock radio was broken so you couldn't use it as an alarm nor could you listen to the radio.

Since we were going to the National Archives in College Park, this hotel was very conveinent. Rooms were well kept and clean. A good value for the money.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Rooms were small, even for a super 8, but it was the only hotel close to the University of MD that allowed cats.

Hotel was nice. Close to the metro station to go to DC. Main road was pretty busy a lot so it was hard sometimes turning in or out of parking lot

Hotel was fairly plain. OK value, but not outstanding. Quiet, clean, good wifi. Tub badly needed some grout scrubbing, and recaulking. Water pressure was somewhat low. Continental breakfast very simple. Cheap pastry, bread, cereal. That's OK, but that being said, the hotel tries a little too hard. Staff was very accomodating. Arrived early, but they had our room ready in minutes. The room had everything needed, even a large recliner. Only negative comment - continential breakfast wasn't much more than cereal. Nice small diner next door.

Das Motel liegt ca. 30 Auto vom Zentrum Washingtons entfernt. Zur Metro-Station Greenbelt sind es mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten. In der Umgebung des Motels befinden sich ein paar Fast Food Lokale und Motels, ansonsten gibt es dort aber keine Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten in gehbarer Entfernung. Das Motel und die Zimmer waren einigermaßen sauber und zweckmäßig […] ausgestattet. Das kostenlose Frühstück ist nicht der Rede wert, außer dem Toastbrot gibt es nur verpackte Speisen, selbst der Saft verpackt. Dazu sind lediglich 4 Sitzplätze direkt vor dem Empfangsschalter verfügbar. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals war nicht gerade berauschend. Fazit: Das Motel ist nur für diejenigen geeignet, die auf sämtlichen Komfort verzichten wollen. Andernfalls ist die Unterkunft eher nicht empfehlenswert. Lisez la suite
