"What A Find!"
Great place for the money. The young guys at the desk were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and really spacious. There are ton of places nearby to eat or shop, and it 15 minutes from anywhere in KC. "Overall ok"

The place was fine enough but the lock on the door didn't work throughout our entire stay. After check in, the staff woke us up on the first evening of our stay to fix it. We were awakened from our nap when the maintenance guy walked in. The lock was still not fixed when we came back in later that night and we waited for staff to break in the room for […] us. They again woke us up the second day even with the do not disturb sign on the door to make yet another attempt to fix the lock. Like before this did not happen. When I returned later that evening, I still had to be let into the room. During all the walking in on us while sleeping and making us sit and wait while they broke into our room they never once suggested moving our room or providing some other accommodation. Other than this rather consistent annoyance, the hotel was average. The staff was very nice even though that nice was coming after waking us up at random times. "Wonderful Place to stay"
The only two things wrong was one they do not having handicap smoking rooms on the first floor. That I would like to see change. The second thing is that we had our dogs with us, they are small but when they sleep in the bed they take up the whole bed. We had a queen bed the next time I will make sure that we get a king bed. My husband and I were […] very impressed with the treatment that we received and the staff was really great to us while we were there. My sister is getting married and when we come back for her wedding we are bringing about 10 to 15 people with us and we are already telling them about our stay at the Hotel. "Outdated and Lous"
Upon entering the room things looked great, but that's about where it stopped. The bathroom door was a hidden/pocket door style, that didn't have the roller-guides. It was very loud to drag across the floor and quite cumbersome to manage. There was only a stand-up shower which had the water pressure of a garden hose. At least the temperature was of […] good quality. The toilet had problems voiding any contents that wasn't liquid. Our second night there we heard people talking in other rooms and dogs barking in the room above ours. Footsteps above us and in the hallways sound like people dropping bowling balls. It was one of the loudest hotels I've ever stayed at. The complimentary breakfast was hardboiled eggs and some pastries - along with standard hotel coffee. All side doors were locked at 11pm, even the outer doors with cardreaders were inactive, forcing everyone to park at the front entrance of the hotel. The vending machines were ancient and the pool was tiny. The sheets were the rough heavy duty kind of sheets that reminded me of hotels from 20 years ago. The pillows were quite comfortable though and the mattress was a nice firm mattress. TV was updated and the channel select was better than most hotels. "not bad"

"Nice, but nothing fancy"
This served its purpose of an overnight stay, then back on the road. The mall that is located by it barely has any stores, and they all close early, so if you need a store or to eat somewhere beside Waffle House, you'll need to drive. "Door was busted, but overall okay experience"
The hotel was a little hard to find, no sign on the road for it. I was traveling alone, so I had a single room, which was fine. However upon arriving at the room, the door was not latched. I pulled it shut to make sure it did shut, which it did. But then once inside found there was a 1/2 gap around the entire door that let light, and sound in. Fortunately […] I was staying there in the middle of the week so there wasn't a lot of traffic and noise in the hallway after 9:30. So then when I went to lock the door (the deadbolt) the lock and the spot where it hooks into the doorframe didn't even match up, one was higher than the other and it wouldn't lock. I contemplated going back and asking for a room with a door that locked, but really didn't want to mess with it. The lock you throw with the hook did work, so I did that and just put a chair in front of the door as well and called it good. The room was clean, the shower was a 3/4 size I'd say, and had no shelf space, but everything was fine otherwise. Great water pressure and hot water in the morning. The air conditioning was troublesome, I could not get it to a temperature I was comfortable with, either too cold or too hot. So if you get room 215, ask for another. "Smoke in non-smoking room"
Booked,three rooms and two had a serious smell of smoke. They insisted it was non-smoking but clearly it was not. When we asked to be moved they wouldn't do it despite others being available. We arrived with a reservation at 9pm,we walked into a hot room. The air condition was not on, and it was miserable.At 9:30 our room was still hot and the front desk said we needed to give the air conditioner time to work.At 10:30 our room was still hot, the front desk said we could have a different room, so we turned on the air conditioner in the other […] room, but stayed in the first room waiting for the 2nd room to cool.At 12:30 we were still sweating in our room, but the 2nd room hadn't cooled off either. "Wouldn't recommend."
Here is a list of things wrong in our room. The desk chair was broken and could not be used. The bathroom door (pocket style) was off the hinges and I had to fix it just to shut the door. The shower head was disgusting and barely sprayed. The towels felt like a pumice stone. The card reader for the back door, which was our closest entry, was broken. […] The phone rang at about 1am with nobody there. On our way out early the next morning, a guy was at the front desk complaining of getting an unordered wake-up call for the 3rd day in a row. Not a bad hotel for the price paid. The check-in counter people are nice. From what we saw at least the hotel hires people who speak English without traces of foreign accent. "You get what you pay for."
This hotel wasn't awful for what we paid. The bathroom had a strong mold/mildew odor, and the bathroom door left little privacy. I borrowed a blanket from my mom and took the comforter off the bed. The hotel was quiet and the staff was always friendly.Avis véridique Expedia

"Convenient location"
Staff was friendly and I did not run into any real issues. Room was sparse but clean. I would suggest bringing your own pillow(s), there were 5 small VERY soft pillows and as I like to have my head raised a bit it took all 5 to accomplish this. Typical with hotels I've found in general, in-room coffee left much to be desired with lack of sugar or substitute […] and creamer. Two packets of coffee (that's fine for morning and evening) but only two packets of condiments with two sugars, one sugar substitute and one packet of creamer. Typically if you can catch someone from the cleaning staff they'll give you more condiments but why be so stingy? Location was excellent for my particular visit. Adjoining highway noise was a problem but it's certainly not the hotels fault and closing the window was always an option. Being a smoker it's one of the few hotels left I suppose that offer a smoking room and that was certainly welcomed. They only have a few smoking rooms so their availability may be an issue. Typical continental breakfast. Not much offered, a Danish, waffles, coffee, juice, etc. but room was clean and there is a Waffle House a couple of blocks away if you desired a full breakfast. I liked that we were able to book our room online within hours of arrival. The check-in and check-out times seemed reasonable and standard. Someone in the hallway was telling us how they had switched rooms 4 times due to air conditioning problems, although ours worked fine. Pro's: -Front desk worker was friendly -Fast booking, no problems there Con's: -Didn't […] seen to have room service -There was a condom wrapper on the floor by the bed that hadn't been picked up Overall decent for a hotel you need to book at the last minute and don't plan to stay at for very long.
