The hotel was clean and staff were nice. Located at a couple of hundreds of yards away from Garnett station. You can easily walk to downtown (should take about 15 mins). The neighborhood could be better but it was OK.

A l origine nous avions réservé dans cet hotel pour etre pres de Stone MountainPark. L accueil est sympathique et le concierge fait des efforts du fait que nous parlons seulement l américain basique. La chambre est correcte propre et calme, au rez de chaussée. Arrivés tardivement nous avons pu aller boire un bière et prendre un snack à un bar grill tout proche qui nous a été indiqué par la réception. Accueil sympathique là aussi. Le rapprot qualité prix est excellent.

"Rooms smell"
The room smelled like humidity. The smell was very strong. The room did not feel clean due to how outdated everything is. The smell made me miserable and I could not sleep well, I was also sneezing the whole time so I don't know if they also maybe have a mold issue. Staff was great honestly but no one offered to help me unloading and loading my car […] even though i had 2 big suitcases, a stroller and a 2 year old... Nice location but not worth the price. The hotel was convenient to many places. It was clean and the breakfast was better than typical hotel breakfasts. The hot breakfast included items such as bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, ect... Cookies are offered throughout the day as well.... There are some fast food places basically in walking distance such as ChickfilA. It's a short drive to the Cheesecake […] Factory or Legoland. "Great place to stay for Masters Week."
I think the hotel staff did an excellent job under very difficult circumstances during Masters Week. The hotel was full and they had a hic-cup with the laundry one day but they were trying very hard to be gracious under fire and managed through the situation. "Country Inn & Suites - Atlanta Buckhead, Ga Great!"
Husband and I went to Atlanta for a doctor's appointment one weekend. We have 4 foster children so they were very excited about our trip. We arrived late that evening and everyone was very tired. Couldn't find a hotel on our dates that had a suite reasonably priced so we took our chances and reserved what we could find near our destination. While checking […] in, we met Polly (sp?) at the front desk. It was after 12 midnight and unknowingly we made our reservation shortly after midnight. She couldn't find our reservation and checked further and noticed it was made for the following night. Our mouths dropped! But Polly explained our mishap and allowed us to check in anyways instead of waiting til the 3 O'clock check in time. She was great! She further assisted us with a breakfast area to eat at with our foster children. She opened an empty room down the hall way and set everything up for our family to eat. She went above and beyond on both situations and we greatly thank her. The breakfast was pretty good. Only thing missing was the grits! Room was nice, a little smaller than what we're use to but nice and clean with Micro/Fridge. Polly really made our stay worth while and we will definately stay here again. "Bad Experience"
Our stay was not enjoyable. We booked our reservations a month in advance for 4 rooms at three nights each. Three of us made the trip and our last guest was delayed due to his flight being cancelled. The hotel rebooked his room for the night since he was a "no show" and thus cancelled his reservation for the remaining three nights. There was a convention […] in town and hotels were extremely hard to find and we had to rebook him at another hotel 40 miles north of downtown, a major inconvienence in Atlanta traffic! The Wi Fi in our rooms would not work, we complained every day and they said they would contact their tech center and get it resolved, never happened. The refrigerator in my room was unplugged and I had to pull it out of the cabinet and plug it in, which got water all over the floor from the ice cube tray holding water in it. Then the shower had a bad seal around the bottom frame and the entire floor was soaked after coming out of the shower, I had to use a new towel to absorb all the water on the floor. I was up in Atlanta for a conference at GWCC and was looking for a good deal on a hotel. This was the best, however, it was a good 15 minute drive to the venue each morning. The breakfast was above and beyond what we expected and actually quite delicious (rosemary potatoes were the best!). This is one of the only hotels in the area that didn't charge […] an extra 25-45 dollars a night. It was free, like it should be! Free breakfast, free parking, free Internet. Newly decorated, comfortable, granite countertops, a refrigerator and microwave. A great find. "Came to the rescue"
Our daughter had been admitted to a grad degree at Georgia State and we were scrambling to help her make the move. A week previously we had stayed at Sheraton downtown--place with lot of bells and whistles, but we'd gotten the room and parking for a fairly low rate I guess. When we returned the Sheraton was full, except for an expensive room--had not […] made reservations, just assumed history would repeat. So after a last minute flurry of phone calls we found a room at this hotel. Every bit as good as the Sheraton, but without the paid parking. Atlanta traffic is Atlanta traffic...no help for that....but even during rush hour we were able to reach all points--downtown, Inman Park--in 15-20 minutes. Hotel front desk esp helpful, and room maintenance responsive (bathroom leak issue immediately addressed). Both qualities not as good at Sheraton. Great hotel in a convenient location between Mid-town and Buckhead. Great hot breakfast and free cookies in the afternoon were a wonderful treat! Marta station is an easy walk less than a half-mile away. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance of hotel. Don't try to drive anywhere during rush hour - use MARTA instead. One bad mark: housekeeping […] was slow to clean up room and failed to vacuum the room on one day of our stay. One good thing: HVAC was thermostat controlled, so fan didn't run all night. "A happy accident"
I booked this hotel at the last minute, after forgetting to book one for a conference, and got a pretty good deal. I arrived around 9 pm at night, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a courtesy shuttle that will take you to the closest MARTA station - a much better deal than paying a taxi $10 for the same ride. The shuttle also picked […] us up from a local restaurant after dinner. The room was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable, the pillows were great! There is a very nice and complete continental breakfast in the morning as well. Checked in after 5 PM. The refrigerator was open with a number of towels inside to soak the water (??). Half hour later three housekeepers knocked on the door, picked up the towels, wiped the refrigerator a little more. If the room was not ready why was it assigned to me? Next day, a notification was provided that the carpet will be cleaned (yes, it […] was needed especially in the hallways) by a professional company and guests are asked to leave the windows open for a few hours. "Excuses are not a solution"
On October 19th, the second day of our stay, we returned to our room around 4:00 pm. The room had not been cleaned, the cleaning staff knocked on our door around 4:30 and wanted to clean the room, which would have left us sitting in the lobby. The front desk called us shortly and asked us to leave the room while they cleaned, we were getting ready for […] an evening event. The front desk made the excuse that the staff had been busy getting ready for a large party and that they finished work at 5:00 p.m. This was not acceptable, staffing is not my concern when I am a guest. Excuses are not a solution. This was our third stay at this hotel in the past couple of months.
