The Time Hotel - New York

We felt like the space in the hotel could've been used better. There was really no place to store clothes and just a very small area behind the ironing board to hang a few items. Every staff memeber we came in contact with was extremely friendly and helpful. The water in the shower took forever to heat up. Hard to figure that The Time is a four star as its old and in only ok shape but the location is cool especially if time square is your cup of tea. It was comfy enough and all in all a decent value.

Surpassed every expectation!! Within a 10 minute walk to Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Central Park and Theatre District. The Staff there was tremendous- courteous and friendly. I planned the trip for my girlfriends 50th Bday- and it was perfect! Special Thanks to Janitza at the Hotel for making our stay so memorable.

Overall, great value, location, decor, and service with a few exceptions. 1. Room entry lights were out so it was dark getting into the room until you could turn on a desk light. 2. Mini bar had bottles of beer without twist off tops and no bottle opener. We requested one from the front desk and after an hour and a follow-up phone call, it never came […] so we cancelled it. But it still showed up on our bill with another mistake mini bar charge. However, when checking out, they fixed the errors without trouble. 3. Couldn't get the TV remote to work but a call to the front desk resolved the problem very promptly. Lisez la suite

Hotel Staff Great, Room was wonderful, Highly recomended. Right in the heart of Time Square gret location.

Great price and great location...on 49th, between Broadway & 8th...close to theaters, restaurants, Times Square, subway, shopping, etc. Room was clean and simply furnished with a king size bed, flat screen TV on the wall, large window, robes, small fridge, etc. Concierge was very helpful with restaurants and subway map. Doorman always greeted us as […] we came and went and arranged for a car to the airport when we checked-out. We arrived before check-in and they happily stored our luggage so we could get lunch and to a matinee. Not much hot water the first morning, but I won't hold that agaist them. They consider themselves a "green" hotel with eco friendly lighting, shampoo packaging, etc., so that was a nice plus. We were told there was a $10.95 charge per day for internet, but we found a free wireless connection after the 1st day, so check that out before you pay for the Time Hotel Guest connection. Nice comfortable clean rooms, great Theatre District location

Great location - including being right near a subway station. But I was promised a king bed and got a queen (or was it a full?) instead. And the room was tiny - the bathroom was so small it was difficult to close the door while you were standing inside!

hotel is centrally located and very quiet. bathroom a bit small and toiletries disappointing. bed very comfortable. staff very helpful. would go back.

If you are OCD do not stay in this hotel. The bathroom is tiny and needs to be remodeled due to the mold and the rust, there are no closet per say, there is a wall with rods to hang your clothes on and curtains that can be drawn to hide them. Staff was friendly and helpful, hotel is clean, location is very convenient - 1/2 block off Broadway in the heart of the theatre district. Rooms are SMALL, but clean and contemporary. Common areas are a little worn out.

Right in the Theatre District. Very close to the discount broadway tickets booth. We had a great time. Did have some problems with the shower, but besides, we will go back to this hotel anytime. The concierge was very very helpful.

Even though the rooms were small and the bathroom really small, we could not have asked for a better experience. The convenience factor alone made this hotel an ideal choice. The concierge went above and beyond what could be expected to make sure we got the reservations we wanted, even when the web site said there was nothing available. good location for tourist; convenient to public transportation; taxis always available outside hotel as well; we had a TINY room - even small for NYC but it was clean and comfortable except for the size. Would stay here again and check to see if a larger room was available.

you absolutely cannot do better for the price than the Time. The location is great, the service is good, the staff are all super friendly, and the restaurant is good too. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in NYC.

This hotel is located in the heart of the theater district. It's easy to get to tourist attractions and all the subway lines from here. The staff is friendly, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable.

We booked this hotel last minute we were delightfully surprise. We loved the minimalist and funky decor and great Time Square location. The room was cozy and staff was attentive and friendly. We have stayed in the theatre district many times before and were really pleased with the value we received for the location. Our only complaints would be that […] it was very hot and humid outside and the air conditioner did not work well at all (the room remained warm all night) and we had to call the front desk for a bucket of ice as there was no ice machine on the floor. the hotel is excellent for its location and the money. However, with extra charge for parking, it can boost your bill up 30 dollars more a day. The room service was great as well as the staff there.

I really liked the hotel, the staff(Eric was the BEST BELLHOP)the only draw back was like no clost space!! Perfect location & restaurant Serafina was 5 Stars!!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be close to Time Square. The room was small, but we expected that from other reviews read. We wanted a great location and clean room and that is exactly what we got. Wish there would have been a coffee pot for the morning, but McDonalds was a block and half away as well as a Starbucks 2 blocks […] away. Definitely will stay again and bring our own coffee pot. Lobby was chaotic, noisy and tiny. Room was OK, about the size of other rooms I've stayed in. However, it just felt uncomfortable. No room to walk around in. Bathroom was very tiny and the shower was miniscule. I'm 5'1" and I didn't have enough room to turn around in. My husband is 5'10" and he could barely get wet. Staff, location and cleanliness of room was great. Only 2 elevators for guests and staff which resulted in a wait.

I loved where this hotel is located. Close to a couple of different subway lines, Times Square, Central Park...it was perfect for a tourist like me. The room was small, like many NYC hotel rooms, but it has been renovated and looked cool. The bedding was very comfy. Hotel staff was very friendly. My wife and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary since it was near the Avenue Q Theater. The staff was very accommodating, especially since we arrived before the check-in time (they offered to store our bags while we walked around the area and offered to call us, which they forgot, when the room was ready). Our room was very nice with a red motif. […] Our iron was missing, but after calling room service, someone arrived within a few minutes with one. This was a great find! The King room was much larger than I expected for a remodeled older hotel. Room service/restaurant food was great! Quick service! Nice staff!

The Time was a wonderful hotel. It is in a wonderful location and very safe. My 15 year old daughter and I had a wonderful time. The room was modern and neat. The staff was helpful and taxis are stationed right outside the hotel. You can walk to every tourist attraction. If you want to take the subway, the train to the Statue of Liberty and Central […] Park is just a block away. It's an easy walk to Macy's, 5th Avenue shopping, Rockefeller Plaza and all the Broadway Shows. Go to the same day ticket booth in Time Square for 50% off Broadway tickets. buddy and i went to hang out for the weekend. great location! great bar and restaurant! and good room if you aren't use to staying at 5 star resorts. clean, big enough and trendy decor.

My first time at The Time Hotel. Got into room and within 5 minutes, water was coming through ceiling through the light fixture. When I called about it, I was met with attitude. Someone did come up to take a look but then said he was going to look into it and never came back. My bedspread had holes in it. I called to have it changed but instead, when […] I returned to the hotel that evening, the same bedspread was there but they left a blanket. (?) Also, the internet in the room did not work and I had to have service up to try and fix it. My room keys sometimes worked, sometimes didn't so that was annoying. Bathroom was so small and there was no natural light to speak of. Overall, NOT a good experience at all!! Lisez la suite

We spent the weekend at this hotel and, I must say, the location is fantastic. Only one block from Times Square and Broadway. Next door to the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. The only complaint was the size of the room. Much smaller than we expected. I would recommend the place, however. Good for the money.

We stayed 7 days there...if we don't leave our room early, then we missed the maid service and our room is not made. The sign used to notify of service wasn't working, therefore we have to call them everyday to make our room.

This hotel was great, everything from the room to location. All of the staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. I have already recommend this spot and plan on staying there again.

Good location! easy loading and unloading with kids. The parking is located just cross the street. We will stay there again! walking distance to Hershey store.

The only grip that I have is that the hotel room was smaller than represented on the website.

The Time Hotel location was perfect for us. We stayed overnight to see a show and go to dinner. Everything was within blocks of where we needed to be. The staff was courteous and attentive. We arrived early morning and were able to check in right away with a free upgrade to a two room suite. The bed was very comfortable!

I stayed at the Time hotel with some friends for my girls' birthday. We had a blast while in NYC and our stay at the Time went smoothly. They allowed us to stay an extra night at an excellent rate and were always very helpful. My only gripe is when I asked for a few wine glasses and plates be brought to our room for some cake and wine on her birthday […] nothing happened, but we weren't there very long anyways. Jag bodde på Time för ett par år sedan, och då var hotellet urläckert och nyfixat. Nu har det tyvärr hunnit bli lite slitet och naggat i kanten. Rummen är små, men läget bra nära Times Sq. Populär bar på bottenplan och restaurang en trappa upp gör det lite livligt i positiv bemärkelse på hotellet.

Hotel nel cuore di Time Square! la posizione è veramente eccellente. Buon il servizio: il personale è cortese e disponibile. Non sono alla stessa altezza le stanze: per quanto si paga le stanze non sono grandi e il bagno è un po vecchio.

attenzione!!!!! la mia camera non era standard ma superior pertanto tutto ok - le standard con il queen bed da informazioni sono piccole ma è normale a new york Ma unico vero neo a new york il wi-fi non può essere a pagamento. ridicolo per gli stati uniti
