Hotel a conseillé vivement 4.5/5

Tous les hôtels à Coral Gableswe stayed here 1 night before cruising. the accommodations were adequate, offered two queen beds, reasonable price, and included shuttles from the airport as well as to the port of Miami. we even ate breakfast at the small cafe, not included. the hotel was decent. but it is not near anything, must take cab anywhere. for this it was worth it for us! plus […] it was so easy to book online! "Don't stay here!!!"
I booked this hotel on Hotels and was very disappointed . The room was dirty, the location was questionable and it was very loud. Left after the first night of my thee night stay. Hotels told me to check out and they would refund my money for the balance of my stay. Still waiting...
"Hotel Chateau bleau"
Modest accomadtion. Continental breakfast consisted of a cup of coffee and a piece of toast. What continent??????????
"Dingy!!!"
2012 is the current year, seems like they haven't updated or replaced anything in at least 25 years or more. Chipped and damaged furniture and poor sleep quality due to old mattresses. Just unpleasant visually for such a nice area.
"terrible condition"
The hotel is in terrible shape. My door could not close and it eventually came right of the hinges! Not to be recommneded. Worfst breakfeast (and most greay) ever
"Worst run hotel"
I will never stay here again. I made my reservation weeks in advance. I called and confirmed two rooms next to each other, preferably connecting, with balconies. This was for new year's eve so I requested a late checkout, which I was assured would be no problem. I called the day before to ensure that everything would be as planned and the staff told […] me. It was. Upon arrival we learn that the hotel had stuck my friends in a room with no balcony, nowhere near the other room. So I tell them we want two rooms near each other with balconies like I was told we'd have. The staff seemed really annoyed, as if I was just springing this on them and I was making their life so difficult. We finally got two rooms across the hall and down always from each other but we could deal with it. No big deal. Of course the elevator was out of order, something they might have told us as we loaded two luggage carts in the lobby. Still not too upset at this point...figure there was some miscommunication among the unpleasant staff. I remind them about my late checkout request and they tell me no problem. I told them that I was reminding them at checking like I was told to do over the phone. They tell me to remind them in he morning. What? I'm going to be sleeping late, hence the late checkout on new year's day. Write it down! Incompetence is annoying but purposefully not taking requests seriously while telling guests otherwise is just wrong. They were very different on the phone before I booked the rooms and once we arrived. Of course the rooms were about what I expected after dealing with the staff. Dirty, grungy carpet with very loud ac units. But we had a balcony and friends from out of town so I got over it. We returned to the room after dinner and new year celebrating. Knowing I wouldn't want to get up to remind the front desk of late checkout, I called and told them then. The extremely rude man said it was impossible and kept repeating when checkout time was before hanging up on me. Lisez la suite
"new years eve the Grove/ Miami Bayfront Park"
hotel close enough to Coconut Grove and Downtown Miami to make our traveling easier...it was pet friendly just wish I was told the floor that allowed my maltese had no King size beds!(FYI) Other than that.....Happy New Year!
"Too Many Problems"
The hotel had an elevator problem the 2nd day we stayed there, the free continental breakfast meant 2 toast from the greek restaurant they had on the main lobby, service was great if the guy doesn't need to give his 2 cents comment everytime we ask him for simple stuff, on the night we got there the bathroom clogged and other than that it is fine. neighborhood […] looks pretty scary and pool is very clean Lisez la suite
"Very tired hotel"
I certainly would never rebook this hotel - I had tell them t them to replace shower head as it was 110 years old- fix toilet and fix tub so it drained properly. Very bad experience - if I hadn't prepaid I would have changed!!!!

"Chateaubleau Hotel"
The hotel staff was not very courteous. While we did arrive fairly early, around 10am or so, they made no effort to accomodate us in any way. They simply told us we could drop our bags off. The parking lot was not visually inviting and very cramped. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. However, the room was relatively clean. It was just not somewhere […] I would recommend to anyone. "Chateaubleau Hotel - Coral Gables"
It's an older hotel. The rooms are ok but the hall ways don't have air conditioning and the bathrooms are poorly ventilated. The pool is nice.
"HOTEL EXCLUSIVE FOR CRUISESS ONLY"
IF YOU GOING TO TAKE A CRUISESS STAY AT THIS HOTEL . HOTEL IS OLD AND CARPET IS SUPER OLD AND DIRTY .
Got a room with 2 beds...one was an old mattress, the other is a really really old mattress...had you rolling to the middle of the bed. As for towels gave just two bath size that were on the small bath size type of towel. No plastic liner for the ice bucket!...so not sure how clean the ice buckets are...liners would have been nice. AC...adjustes to […] what the Hotel wants at night when sleeping not what the customer wants, could sleep with no sheets and the room was still HOT! Temp set at 65. Lisez la suite
"Chateaubleau Hotel"
The hotel is older and appears somewhat historic. The neighborhood seems safe and the location is very, very good, especially to the Miracle Mile and the Airport. The price is better than most other hotels in the area and the front desk support staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The rooms were clean the staff were very pleasant, but the shuttle service to and from the airport and to and from port was terrible. Had to wait more than an hour and when we got to the Hotel the rooms were not ready for another hour.
"Please beware! Do not stay at this hotel!"
I must say that this hotel is in a great location and the appeal is the free shuttle to the airport and to cruise terminal. However, in the end save your pennies and spend the extra money on a better hotel. When we arrived the original room we were in had black oil stains in the carpet and the air conditioner was broken. They moved us to another room […] with only cold water in the sink and dirty sheets. The hotel is dated and filled with Carnival Cruise Staff who were hanging around and not the most savory looking characters. Beware of the free continental breakfast it is burned toast and water downed orange juice. When we reported that the hot water did not not work in the sink they told us we had to deal with it because the plumber would not be there until monday. This is by far my worse hotel experience and I am glad it was only one night! This hotel makes there money from all the Carnival Cruise staff that it serves and could care less about the people who actually pay for it. In the end don't be lured by the freebies it is not worth it. Lisez la suite

"don't arrive late at night,"
There might be nice rooms at this hotel. We did not get one of those. The room was likely a low cost version that houses 6 crew for cruise ships. It was not suitable for a vacation. We did arrive late but should still receive a quality room. Disappointed. The day manager did offer a free breakfast but we had to leave.
"Chateaubleau Hotel in Coral Gables-close to UM"
The hotel must have been something special in it's day. I didn't have any specific issues, but it's in need of serious updating. The staff was very nice, they were pleasant and helpful.

The bed was comfy, room was clean but not a place to take your family. Too many shady characters (cruise employees) hanging around everywhere. I was attracted to this hotel because of the free breakfast that was advertised but that is misleading. The free breakfast is toast and coffee! It was very hard to get a cab and the front desk employees didn't […] seem to care. They told us to walk down to the main road (3 blocks away with our luggage) to find a cab. The a/c worked good though and it was quiet. I slept great. Lisez la suite
"My Stay"
The hotel itself is in a nice area, but the part of the hotel that I was in has pretty run down. There were holes in the bathroom ceiling and the sprinker system consisted of orange pvc pipe that was run throughout the building and clearly visible. The hotel elevator that was in my section had a certificate of operation that expired in 2009.... So over […] all I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Lisez la suite
"Good location"
Good location for the money, near Coral Gables attractions and not too far from Miami Beach. The hotel's getting a little old, but perfectly adequate.
pros- free airport shuttle and friendly staff Cons- hotel and room appear outdated, computers at hotel do not have adobe so viewing and printing pdf documents can't occur, and bed is cheap and stiff.
"Cheap stay"
The hotel looks better online. It was ok but nothing to brag about. Needs updated and bathroom was very old fashioned. The food was ok, people were nice but wouldnt probably stay there again. The bedding left me wanting blankets and pillows was very basic. Tv was ancient. The carpet well lets just say the place needs some tlc.
"Coral Gables Ick"
This is a cheesy hotel in a lovely Miami, FL neighborhood (Coral Gables). The entire property is in desperate need of a total makeover, particularly the room interiors. The bedspread was sticky, several lamps didn't work, the smell of cleaning chemicals was in the air, and the desk was missing a chunk of "wood" from a corner where someone undoubtedly […] bashed it with a baseball bat. An unfortunate hotel choice for me should serve as sufficient warning for you. Lisez la suite
"Its Cheap for a reason"
Terrible experience. We stayed in the building across the street which was dettached from the main hotel. It seemed more like they found keys to an abandoned building and decided to throw a mattress into a room and charge people. I wouldnt be surprised to find out that Chateaubleau doesn't own the property I stayed in. It was completely empty, not one […] light was on in this dump- worse hotel I've ever stayed in my life. Thankfully we were there only for about 6 hours in btwn connecting flights Lisez la suite
Its obviously a family run hotel, the older gereration sit around the bar/resturant area all day, with long faces. Intervering as often as possible. Time for them to move on. They also need to make different arrangements for the boat people. Them thier luggage take over the main reception for long periods of time.
"You Get What You Pay For"
We got a great price, decent location, free Continental breakfast, free shuttle to port. However, mattress was very old and squishy, a/c did not work properly so room was hot, some black oil stains in the rug. Definitely a hotel that is weary and down and out. Not sure I could recommend to others...
Very nice economy hotel in an otherwise expensive Coral Gables.
"Very Ordinary Property in Coral Gables FL"
This was a very basic property used by the staff of Carnival Cruise Lines as well as seasonal workers. Crowded and sub par cleanliness. Hotel needs a makeover in a big way. Too pricey for what you get! Poor beds, linens, tv and bath. Decent breakfast and be sure to carry your ticket to breakfast or you'll be denied!
"Hotel was as expected."
After reading the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive but this hotel is acceptable for the price. The front desk receptionist was extremely friendly and we had no hassle with the complimentary breakfast (as we had read that others had problems). The room was not the best but it was quiet and clean. My complaint would be the sheets are too thin for my […] taste and the pillows not as soft but I was only staying there one night and for the price, I really couldn't complain. The breakfast was more than adequate with hard boiled eggs, pancakes, cereal, rice, scrambled eggs, sausage, and delicious Greek potatoes. We did not encounter any noisy carnival cruise employees. The A/C worked fine. We did not use the shuttle service to airport so no comment there. If you are looking to save $$, this hotel serves the purpose and is safe and clean. Oh, and a great bonus...walking distance to Versailles, a great Cuban restaurant. Lisez la suite
"mixed review but it served our purpose well"
This hotel was as expected based on our reading the reviews about it. The Carnival ship employees were all over the outside, lobby and in the hotel. The room was nothing to write home about, a couple lamps worked a couple other lamps did not. We got free wireless internet in the room. We had to make some urgent phone calls and they did not charge us […] an arm and a leg for those. We only were there for overnight really and the recommendation that was made to us for a dining restaurant three blocks away was excellent. They gave us a shuttle to the ship terminal at the perfect time making our cruise embarkation process as stress free as possible. Lisez la suite

"hotel in miami near the port"
The hotel was not what we expected. The cleanliness left much to be desired. The room had a very unpleasant odor which I could still smell in my pj's the next night. The sofa was torn and dirty. The English breakfast was alright for taste. However, you didn't eat in the dining room. You ate in a room with long vinyl covered tables and the crews of the […] cruise ships. Overall, our stay at this motel was very unpleasant. Lisez la suite
"Get what you pay for"
We went to the hotel and in the description of the hotel it stated Free Breakfast Included. We got there and asked and were told that it was incorrect, that we had to pay for breakfast. I called Hotels.com and was able to resolve the issue but the Hotel finally told us on the last day that breakfast was included in our booking. How convenient to tell […] us on the last day. The Hallways are not air conditioned and are super hot and humid. Yes Carnival Cruise Lines Employees stay there so you do have a lot of folks hanging around the premises and the Lobby. One Thing I can say is that the rooms were clean. We rented 2 rooms and the A/C in one of them did not work properly. We had to stay in this Hotel for a main event and the rest of the hotels in our budget in the area we needed we already booked so this was one of the few options. The Staff was friendly. I personally wouldnt stay in this hotel again. It a cheap ok Hotel to crash for a few days if you have a limited budget. Lisez la suite
"Great room for the money"
The hotel appears to be a little old but the service is friendly and the hotel is very clean. Its ina good location near public transportation and nice restaurants. It also has a nice pool area. Its not luxury but for the price its a good hotel.
"Best Greek restaurant on premises"
Great restaurant. Had excellent appetizers and very friendly service. Rooms were clean, pool was warm and clean.
"Foreign games"
Location, free parking, clean and good price. My expierence the last night was not so good, the hotel has the Carnival Cruise Line employees statying at the hotel, last night thursday, they went to play hide and seek until midnight, knocking at my door like and assault,i conplain at the lobby, the answer was, dont worry sir they do check in now. Continue […] for the next 2.30 hiting my door like crazy and my side door too. Lisez la suite
"You get what you pay for"
Not bad for the price but don't expect much: small scratchy towels, no conditioner, outdated decor. The waitress at the restaurant for the free breakfast was rude and they seemed peeved that we got free breakfast.
"Great Hotel"
Staff is very understanding and very helpful.
